As an alcoholic who has been sober/abstitent for 9.5 years I'm constantly surprised by how maintaining sobriety gets harder, not easier for me as time passes.

I forget how bad it was. My family and friends forget how bad it was. I think maybe I could have just *one*. People are in my life now who didn't witness the worst times - they are less cognizant of it, less considerate of it. They imbibe, they offer, sometimes they entreat. It's casual, right? Harmless. Just because she doesn't, doesn't mean she couldn't.

I am just as much of an alcoholic now as I was back when I planned what my first drink of the day was going to be while still lying in bed waking up hungover. As when I vomited daily. As when I counted the seconds until 17h. As when I predrank for every single activity.

Idk if this is a universal experience, but it is definitely mine. I have never relapsed thankfully, because I know if I did it would be even harder to get myself out of it this time.

Agility is by far my fave stat boost in gaming.

I want over 150% move speed. I wanna be fast. I want to be a chaotic pointy cyclone. I want to ride the edge of control and tank hard on hyperdrive.

I just cannot get into games without some combo of sprint / double jump / dash / roll / dodge / agility level up.
