This series of articles is coming from a substack with an author that does dubious work and has pivoted from multiple failed content creation careers. Now, that's not necessarily a disqualifying factor, but the article reeks of desperation that comes from this. It has very little sources and comes with investigative work that is just so, so, so sloppy. For instance, one of the biggest shadowy presence in the series, NIR, LLC, seemingly a company that's taking in millions in government money with no web presence, if this article is to be believed, literally has a website you can visit, and has a contract going back from 2005 onwards, treating bootboys' and veterans' neurological problems. Yes, the contractor made 1.9 million from 2005 til now, but most of the money comes from 2017 and 2019, in Hawai'i, where there is a sizeable US military presence.
What we do know is that ICE is sending immigrants to Hawai'i, but NIR, LLC has very little to do with any of this. We also know that people have died of brain hemorrhaging in ICE detention, but what's more likely: a federal contractor is getting less money than when they were treating boot boys in Trump admin 1 to work as Elon's shell company, risking losing their business when these things come to light while doing so, or that these hog cops who have no problem with brutalizing immigrants are brutalizing the immigrants to the point of death? In fact, one of the articles linked by this "journalist" states, plainly:
There's a pattern of neglecting medical care,” Blankenship said. “Just as Greg explained, when this gentleman went into crisis of whatever caused that, he received no medical care until the point
his brain was bleeding and he was brain dead.”
People are dying in ICE detention because the racist country of the USA won't give the people in ICE detention medical care and are physically abusing them. If Elon was putting brain chips in these people, then I would need some verified evidence for such a salacious claim, not someone for whom their 5th pivot into trying to make money online by Posting relies on people clicking their post to see the salacious details.
People who so need things to be bad in special way aren't even falling for the deranged; they're falling for people who are so desperate for what they see as easy money that they're putting out bullshit that would never pass any muster if anyone at any point had any editorial oversight. We all know how I feel about OSINT creators, and this is a great example of why you need to triple-verify anything they say: they are allowed to be fast and loose as well as irresponsible in their research and the presentation of their research, and people in a hurry and eager to scare themselves and others eat this up.
