Red, He/Him, ghost. Mixed white/metis transfag with more health problems than fingers - Go drink some water and WEAR YOUR FUCKING MASK - Sides: @red-ink-squiggles, @red-talkin-graves
Hi I’m Red. I love ttrpgs, I love trans men, and I love goth music. He/him exclusive to most, he/they for closer mutuals and transmasculinity posters. I use the terms man, fag, homosexual, and ghost for gender. I am over 18.
I don't tag anything but a few regular ones and my ocs, and occasionally post nsfw. If you're a minor or need trigger tags, best not to follow me. Not a formal DNI, just a 'keep yourself safe'.
I have a sideblog where I only post art: @red-ink-squiggles. And a sideblog where I post about horror: @red-talkin-graves.
Also: Fuck the UCP! If you ever put me in the same room as a UCP politician my cane is leaving dented and they're leaving with a head injury.
OC list:
Currently playing...
The ones being actively used as tabletop player characters right now. NPCs don't count, CaDi gets its own section.
Altair: A nervous boy with stars in his lungs, whose every breath heals those around him. Never seen without a knife.
The Garden/Lilium: A lonely changeling who's fallen head over heels in love with the same friends they're doomed to betray. See the below section.
Zephryne/Stag: A quiet and unhesitating monster hunter who struggles to talk with the same courage he has hunting.
Callian/Doc: A giant of a man who struggles to speak kindly through memories of pain and grief.
Shion/Ghost Puppy: An upbeat and cheerful kid who's dog-like traits hide a more spectral and deathly power.
Amaraneya 'Raney' Moriorum/Corax: A former flying ace currently working as a mech pilot to care for his adopted kids.
Horse Boy: Elturel's lady of dawn. He desperately reaches for a new life, even ehen being a man costs him.
The Garden...
A system with many facets and identities, each with a role to play.
Lilium(Host): Hasn't been active for decades, since even before meeting the ghosts. A particularly impactful event could bring him back, but who knows what sort of being he would be?
Faceless: The liar, the trickster, the hero. An idealist who craves a better world, no matter what that world costs.
Mentzelia: The defender, the lion, the avenger. A regal and brutal woman who will do anything to protect her other facets.
Nameless: The lover, the sacrifice, the shield. None of Lilium loves the party like they do, but it insists on a distance.
Asphodel: The grieving, the widow, the spectre. An entity that possesses other facets instead of fronting alone.
Pyr: The rotting, the reaper, the parasite. A man unable to be contained to one form or state, contradictory and efficient.
Rosin: The prey, the obsessor, the victim. Rosin will allow those they love to mistreat it in any way, just to see them smile.
The Groundskeeper: Something built of the memories of their spectral Knight. But it can never live up to him.
The classics...
Old ocs I re-make often, or ocs I'm otherwise very attached to.
Amarya: A tired ghost trying to balance his invesitgative work with his responsibilities as a psychopomp.
Emari: A dilfy trans vigilante who shapeshifts by absorbing metal and can talk his way out of (almost) any threat.
Del/Strix: A man with enemies in every corp, desperate to save their doomed and tragic lover.
Finch: A motherly villain who sculpts the flesh of both itself and others like clay- and is more than willing to craft horrors.
Dysphania/Mirval: A lonely warlock, saved from calamity by the same patron who now holds her magic.
Zephyr: A butch who turned to guarding just about anyone when a new power stole away her dream career.
Inkwell/Librarian: A woman forced into heroism too young, turning to villainy to free herself from the light.
Nova: A knight of the stars, redeemed from the strings of villainous parents through only his own scorching will.
Anhiza: A chosen cleric, prophesied martyr, willing to exist within any story except for his own.
Rat Kings: A collection of strange little men who know too much, and who are all too willing to use that knowledge.
Maggie/Miyako: A corvid-like inventor who refuses to be held back by her weaker superpower.
CaDi...
NPCs for my post-apocalyptic fanrasy setting, beloved as any other oc.
Melha: The rotting celestial of a long-destroyed species.
Novus: A field medic struggling to come to terms with a more peaceful life.
Anomallow: The neutrally-gendered princess of a crumbling kingdom, sworn to the patron god of another.
Mirai: The Devil. Patron god of Nevakra, history herself.
Morbid Anne: The Watcher. A panopticon made divine.
Elahiir: The Serpent. A dragon who held the future between his teeth.
Kera: The Night. Living weapon made mourning patron of the Burrow.
Lukra: The Shapeshifter. A god as loving as it is cruel, as protective as it is vengeful.
Avhrena: The Herd. A fearful and desperate girl unprepared to be divine.
Mikra: The Selkie. Once a survivor and healer, now only shards of a story.
Qirik: The Selkie. Once a survivor and warrior, her last breaths threaten to freeze the known world.
The Backups...
I make several per game.
Anadarach: Detective made host to morh-shaped psychopomps, studying monsters known for curses.
Ceanoth: Once cards in a fortune teller's hands, now a mischievous psychic trying to ignore their own troubles.
Uh. Guy: A failed experiment ofcthw Garden's strange benefactor, dead-set on vengeance.
The video games...
If a game has character creation abilities, I will play as an oc.
Seri: A gothic adventurer, and grandson of a lunar hare, though he mostly seems interested in growing flowers.
Zephyra: An older changeling, scarred from years of human aggression and slowly learning to trust again.
Chiroptera: A sonic-powered hero who recently retired to more peaceful jobs, running his artificer lab in the countryside.
Rhozeleon: Weird little incubus who likes toying with loserish men more than itvlikes running the farm.
Please don't forget about loveless people this pride month. Love doesn't make us human. People don't need to love in "other" ways to be valid. Some people are aplatonic, some afamilial, some asensual, some are heartless. They still belong. Abolish conformity and the idea that someone needs to be something specific to belong at pride.
i was chatting with a coworker about this whole saga today and someone nearby popped into the convo to be like “you know, you can use chatgpt to write a demand letter!” and i sort of blinked and went, “okay. i did it myself, though.” and she was like, “yeah but it can tell you what laws and stuff are relevant” and i was like, “i also did research myself.” and she was very well-meaning but she said “chatgpt” like six more times before she left and it was genuinely baffling to me, this insistence on it.
and in the one hand, did i enjoy spending hours researching housing regulations in my state? not especially. drafting this email was stressful. but on the other hand, did i learn a lot by doing that research? yeah, i did. i’m more prepared for my current and future leases. i used some of that info to make decisions about a new renter’s insurance policy. i already told three different people about things i learned that are relevant to their leases that they didn’t know yet. (pro tip: see if you’re supposed to be getting annual interest payments on your security deposit! also look up what specific appliances your landlords must legally provide as of 2026.) i also got to reconnect with my cousin for a bit because her job gave her specific insight on part of the situation, and i’d much rather do that than have a chatbot make shit up for me.
also, i drafted that email with the power of friendship (friends angry on our behalf) and spite (from landlords telling me not to do my research). chatgpt could never.
Please never use generative AI tools for any kind of legal dispute. It does not know what laws or court cases are. It will make up something that sounds favorable to you, and you will get crushed. There are free resources out there to learn this stuff. And sometimes attorneys will offer free consultations or volunteer at a free legal clinic. OP didn't just do it themselves to do extra work or some shit. This is really the only viable way to do things short of hiring a professional to do it for you.
ChatGPT is not easier or faster in matters like this. It is a shot to the foot.
In my experience, horror fans are by and large lovely people with a very healthy relationship to their genre of choice, but sometimes they fuck up and say something that in their ears sounds very affirmative of the movie of discussion and to everyone else sounds like the most sinister shit.
I mean the line that I think of first is “A kid dies in this movie.”
Which I suspect to horror fans is shorthand for “The director of this movie subverts horror tropes (wherein kids are usually immune to the monster/slasher/source of terror) to make something that is deliberately shocking. Seeing a child character die in this story is not a happy thing or a good thing, but for a horror story emphasizes that nobody is immune to the source of the terror, which makes the horror more serious and scarier.”
And to everybody else just sounds like “Oh this movie’s great! A kid dies in it!”

i bet it feels so nice to be nude and have a big cuddly scaly creature sprawled out all over you. bonus points if it’s a bit hot out and she’s coldblooded so she’s soaking up your heat and her body is nice and cool to the touch
I am so glad that I live in a world with trans women and trans men and nonbinary people and intersex people. Things are hard for all of us right now, but I love you all and I am wishing that things get better and easier for all of us! ❤️
#the reason that lab safety regulations are the way they are is because literally all chemists are like this #as in 100% of them #no exceptions (via @prokopetz)
My grandfather got the GI bill after the war and decided to become a chemist. He was a year into his degree when he spilled something on himself in the lab. The way he told it, he watched whatever it was start to dissolve the leather apron he was wearing, thought about what it might be doing to his lungs, and after calmly removing the apron, became an architect instead. I think chemists are Like That because the sane ones all self-selected out of the pool.
yeah yeah rainbow capitalism is bad and whatever but like. when I was a child, being pro gay was not the popular or lucrative choice. I'm happy that times have changed.
I miss rainbow capitalism. I do. I miss when it felt like public opinion was still pro gay. I understand it was always an empty gesture, but it mattered in a sense of knowing how socially acceptable being queer is. If that makes sense.
my sister and her husband go see new movies a lot and a place near the theater they go to does $5 margaritas on monday so they’ve started doing marg movie mondays where they go see a movie and get a marg but they call the margaritas different things based on what they’re seeing. as far as naming goes “wuthering margs” was a little bit of a miss for me but it was preceded by “margipliers” when we saw iron lung so thats kind of a lot to live up to
