anything you might do with a romantic partner, you can and should do with your friends. hold their hands, compliment them, take them on dates where the purpose of it is to get to know them better and spend time with them, get them gifts, tell them you love them, look at them with love and let yourself admire them, kiss them, cuddle them, cook for them, look after them in hard times and in good times, allow yourself to be inconvenienced by them and in turn let yourself inconvenience them too.
