My name is Mohammed Mahmoud, a young man from Gaza, and my first passion is caring for animals, especially cats. My family isn't just humans; it includes three little creatures I consider an integral part of my life: Simba, Fustuq, and Bunduq. Simba with his intelligence and curiosity, Fustuq with his calmness and warmth, and Bunduq with his mischief and playfulness. They were a source of joy and happiness in our home, filling our lives with love and play.

However, the war and famine were harsh on everyone and didn't spare us. Obtaining the simplest things, like food, became an impossible task. Everything I owned has run out, and I can no longer feed them or buy their basic necessities. The cost of food for a single cat has reached $100 per week. I searched for help and reached out to organizations I knew cared about these matters, but I was shocked by a bitter reality: they all closed their doors due to the harsh circumstances.

It's hard for me to see them hungry. It's even harder for me to think about abandoning them, turning them into street cats to face an unknown fate in this hell. My heart bleeds with pain as I see them looking at me with orphaned eyes, as if they're asking, "Where did the safety you used to give us go?"
