I've been working on doing a AU/rewrite of the entire Harry Potter series where Harry's horcrux is sentient and practically raises Harry. Thinking about how a lot of the similarities and parallels between Harry and Voldemort are directly caused by Voldemort.
Firstly, I sincerely believe the reason he chose Harry instead of Neville was because Harry was a fellow half blood (similar to Voldemort whereas Neville differed).
Then Harry grew up an orphan like Voldemort because he killed his parents. Harry grew up lonely, with the ability to talk to snakes, and a second war started during his teens. These are all things he shares in common with Voldemort, but are also things that are directly a result of Voldemort’s actions. They each understand each other in a way others can’t because of what he’s done and how he destroyed Harry’s life
Voldemort really did “mark Harry his equal.”

I am a normal person who understands thought crimes are not real, fiction is not reality, and people can read/write/enjoy whatever they want as long as it’s fiction and no one in real life is harmed. I don’t have to like it, because I know how to mute, block and scroll past what I don’t want to see. Overall I think labels are childish, but by definition I am proship and profic. I am also against censorship.
And if you (general you) shame or harass real people over fiction, you’re a bully and this blog is not a safe place for you.
The main characters in Succession behave like they’re playing Episode without any gems
Does anyone on the internet proofread before they post and comment things anymore? I am NOT the grammar police and I can understand some typos but it’s gotten to the point where there are typos EVERYWHERE and people just accept it.

Did you grow up loving Gravity Falls? Did you buy, read, and enjoy both Journal Three and The Book of Bill? Do you enjoy mystery, existential horror, interesting characters, and unreliable narrators? Boy, do I have a book recommendation for you!
House of Leaves! One of the most convoluted headache inducing books I’ve ever purchased and is quickly rocketing up into one of my favorites.
If you want a book that’ll drive you insane if you get a little too into it, then look no further! Do be warned that one of the two unreliable narrators (I’m not sure if the third narrator is unreliable yet) loves to interrupt and go on multi page long tangents which include drugs and sex, so be aware of that.
I have yet to finish it but it’s a very unique experience that I can only really compare to first reading Journal Three when I was younger.
Dare I say Padme Amidala is a cautionary tale for what can happen to someone who stays with and makes excuses for their partners bad behavior until it literally kills you
The real tragedy of Jason Todd is the audience and the writers. The fanbase voted for him to die all those years ago, and now that he’s back with a fan base that likes him, the people who write him seemingly DON’T like him or don’t care about him at all.
He’s a character with so much potential that remains stagnant and consistently inconsistent because of the writers. He’s not ALLOWED to grow and develop. When one writer give him a step forward, the next pushes him down the stair well.
I really think that Jason as a character should always be analyzed within the context of how he’s treated in real life by both the audience and the writers.
And what if I said that Anakin Skywalker and Jason Todd are actually very similar characters
Was not expecting the introduction to a fairly famous horror story to have a character describe getting a hard on from watching Bambi, and yet here we are.
