she/her Skutgug (Mary Ann/Gorgug from D20) overtook my brain and the lack of fics forced me to write my own. No longer the only person to have written smut for it, but still have the dubious honor of being the first, and it being the reason I fell back in love with creative writing. Client's email: "I had administrative issues."

Anyway I successfully prevented the client from going tens of thousands of dollars into debt. Why must they stress me out this way. I just want to write smut but instead this job sucks away all of my creativity because I spend my days trying to cleverly hint at people to lie to me in the paper trail. If you're dealing with complicated administrative matters and your contact tells you to lie just fucking do it I am trying to help you

I think "fuck you, I hate your work and I will do it myself and I will do it better" is a really funny and epic sentiment. i started publishing poetry because an ex boyfriend of mine was publishing really ass poetry in a bunch of journals and I was like "Jesus christ, this is garbage, I could do that, and I could do it better." now I have a page in the Academy of American Poets and I've published a full length collection and his website says "former poet." You should win by succeeding way harder than they do. Spite is a legitimate energy source.

My boss’ boss was extremely petty towards one of my fav coworkers in a way that severely overstepped her authority so in exchange I fucked up her overtime budget for the month by getting the whole department an unexpected extra hour for doing basically nothing and now they have to either pay us OT for something voluntary moving forward or admit she lied

I have never felt more powerful

I've had the jingle ~boss pulls some shit, tries to do a crime, that's why I write smut on company time~ stuck in my head since Friday

Got called into my boss' office to discuss yayyyyyyy

I was told it was not illegal. I said it was and showed her the law, and even if it isn't, a precedent has been set and we would get paid for this sort of thing if it was mandatory like grandboss claimed. And that it's messed up she was so vindictive towards my coworker in a very obviously targeted way

My OT has been officially approved, there's still no way grandboss will admit fault, and my boss is now aware that we are all watching her fail to stick up to her boss for us and it is clearly causing problems. The funniest part was when she said we should ask her first if something is mandatory and therefore OT and I was like yeah. Someone did. And you told them to do what grandboss said.

She remembered that conversation differently

Soooooooo it turns out I accidentally started a revolution. HR has been informed of the original offense (there’s no way that goes badly for my side, just for grandboss, which is incredible), more stories keep being brought up as examples of fucked up things she’s done, MORE fucked up shit happened, and my boss is now fully aware how much grandboss has been causing discordance in the dept so she needs to start standing up to her. We have 2 regular weekly meetings tomorrow that will likely be a great indicator of how it all shapes out but holy shit me forcing this issue has spiraled into everyone bringing up everything currently wrong with the dept

I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with this much drama at work, and it’s even better knowing that not only am I 100% in the right, there’s no way HR doesn’t back me up. This is the most excited I’ve ever been to attend a pointless weekly meeting. What the actual fuck is happening
