Oh, dear God, we've finally reached this point. Actually, I really didn't want to talk about this in media because, well... it's kind of cringe.

At the moment, I clearly separate myself from how I draw. I am the author, and then there's the character of Worvlovski.

Brunkaty was initially just a joke from my friend (hi there, bro, Sasha, go fuck yourself, my dear). But it turned out that this thing is already a year old, it has fans, and now I'm working on developing the character.

I dislike the idea of self-shipping so much that I can't help but create another character. This is the ONLY character of mine that deals exclusively with the ship and is actually an OC based solely on it, for now. The others you've seen barely have any headcanon regarding the AU, just some inventory items, while here I'm really putting effort into it.

So, I'll say in advance that Bree should be perceived exclusively as a separate character—she is NOT me. It's like saying that Hussie is Vriska or that Toby Fox is Frisk (ALTHOUGH... if we delve into theory...).

I want to show this difference precisely to avoid confusion among fans later. I don't even want to project anything onto the character; I want a worthy, independent jerk without any connection to the ship itself or... or the ship. I still sometimes get confused.

I'm also scared of being remembered in media specifically as this OC—it's such an embarrassing shame. I have so many things in my head, and for some reason, this is what might stick. The fact that there's anything good in it is that it's just a character for the ship. Even then, I don't like her that much. If I had the chance, I wouldn't even draw her or write this text.

Therefore, even if I create content with her, I want to either rework the character enough to make her look normal, to make her a cool and awesome character, to be not only cohesive but also worthy of being a character.

You get the idea. Maybe in the next post, I'll talk about this in more detail if you're interested. I hope this will be temporary.

hi am very curious to see if anyone else has this autism experience yapping time!!!!

so i for a long time assumed i was dyslexic bc i have real difficulties in reading physical books - and its like 100% down to how many adult books are printed. not so much the size of the font, but the width of the paragraphs and especially the line spacing rlly effect me. i just assumed this was dyslexia bc i just thought difficulty reading = dyslexia but recently i thought abt it and like . this doesnt effect me in any other context other than reading physical books, surely if this was dyslexia i would be struggling with everything? like i can read fanfic on my phone 100% completely fine. anyway after ruminating on it i have come to the conclusion that its not dyslexia at all but i simply find books way too visually overstimulating - which makes a lot more sense !!

i can make myself read a physical book, like i could read out an entire book to you if needed, but the sensation i have when reading physical books is reallly weird. i feel like almost spacey? like i cant properly focus on the words at all, just like im skimming the writing even though im making a conscious effort to read it properly. i always get a headache as well :( and all this means its so hard for me to read physical books bc i am just not retaining what im reading bc im not rlly properly reading it. it feels like how watching a film whilst scrolling on ur phone would feel - like u can get the jist but a lot of the details are just lost on u. except i am not scrolling on my phone and am trying rlly rlly hard to concentrate :(

i have some coloured glasses which i can wear for reading which help somewhat - i think bc it lowers the contrast of the paper to the text, but ereaders are the best for me, which is sad bc i love physical books!!!!!!!! but being able to give myself bigger line spacing as well as only be looking at one page at a time has made the world of difference to my reading habits

i am just wondering if any of u guys hve ever experienced smth like this if ur autistic!! i have done some cursory googling but the good people on reddit are all talking abt how bc of their autism they struggle to understand books (ie: the point of the stories, characters motivations, hidden meanings etc) rather than having a physical inability to read. if nothing else, from figuring this out i am learning i am a lot more sensitive to visual stimulation than i previously thought which will hopefully help me self regulate more !!

i had to look this book up and i was NOT disappointed. It begins with a kind of manifesto. Author Mary D Chambers is INSPIRED and aims to INSPIRE. She holds some truths to be self-evident!
