He remembers being in the midst of yet another alien invasion, fighting alongside the rest of the Justice League. Basically their typical Tuesday, not literally, but it felt that way sometimes. The next thing he knew there was a blinding light and he found himself elsewhere, and what he saw there would haunt him. or B got sent to the universe of the Injustice movie and now that he has made it home he is determined to keep it from happening to his own.

Just a story bit for you guys cause I don't have more plot atm:

He looked to his side and he could barely believe what he was seeing. Superman, beside him on a Gotham roof top, framed by the dark night sky with snow falling all around, was exhaling big purposeful huffs at his hand just to watch the puffs of steam hang in the air. It was pointless. It was childish. It was.. the cutest thing Bruce had ever seen.

Somehow, he'd managed to swallow back the majority of his reaction but, and not for lack of trying, he couldn't stop that extra little flutter that hit his heart. It lasted only a moment. The sudden jerk of Clarks head to look at him, brows furrowed with a question unasked, told him the moment had been long enough.

From Monochrome to Color

Ok guys my first mini fic and first fic ever on tumblr, enjoy!

Notes: In this story while it talks about darkness, monochrome, and color they are all truly a reference to happiness and B’s outlook of the world. The way I write it for B is the way it happened for me. Another note at end to avoid spoiler.

       As a child Bruce had seen a world of color. Hidden within the dull cityscape of Gotham, he had found many happy and colorful places and people. When tragedy struck his life early, he was plunged into the dark. Through the years his outlook got better slowly. Alfred probably played the biggest role in his early years, followed by Dick years later.

At that time he would say his world was no longer shades of black but instead black and gray. His world had become monochrome, shaded just enough to tell what colors should be where. Superman had come into his life somewhere around then.

That’s when the colors started showing up. At first it was slow, showing up exactly where you would expect, but where it hadn’t been in years. Before he knew it, it was everywhere. His world had become more vibrant that he had ever remembered it being. Superman had done this. Clark had taken his monochrome world and painted it with color.

Final Note: Just because the color didn’t return when he had Alfred and Dick in his life does NOT mean he does not love and appreciate them. Nor does it somehow erase the trauma he’s suffered. But sometimes it just takes a certain person to truly pull someone back from the dark.
