i'm so excited to finally release part 2 to my 90s Nursery Collection, i've enjoyed creating this set soo much and I cant wait for you all to enjoy it too! part 2 consists of both more infant items ( I couldn't resist ) but also toddler items! everything matches to part 1 very well so you'll have no trouble mixing these sets together.
Every item has lots of swatches both coloured and patterned, for part 2 i've also added for most items an extra swatch which adds stickers and doodles to add even more character to your nursery. One of my personal favourites has to be the stroller and playpen, the stroller isn't functional however it pairs so well with the carseat and looks so sweet in any entrance to your home. The playpen is functional and just embodies the overall look I was going for, these classic 90s playpens which have so many fun colours and patterns which you can see above!
I hope you all enjoy this set, I'm planning to do maybe up to 6 parts eventually, so I cant wait to see where I go with them! And thank you to everyone for being patient and supporting me along the way with my progress posts, if you're interested in seeing them and aren't already a member I post every 2-3 items as I go and you can hear about my process and what's coming next :) !
see you all very soon - ida
this set will be free for everyone on the 21st of august

The Brokes were one of my favorite families to play with back in days of TS2! My goal was to convey the image of Skip building this trailer with his own hands (with a little help from Brandi) when they were just newlyweds. I hope it feels dated, a little busted-up/in disarray from years of wear-and-tear, a little rustic (and gaudy), but well-loved overall. I do still plan to upload my Broke family sims (Brandi, Dustin, Beau, infant boy, and Skip) once I am sure all my sliders are compatible and won't screw up anyone's game. In the meantime, you can check out my makeovers of them at my tumblr HERE! π
This build is completely CC free and has been play-tested. It is $48,819 simoleons but that's because it is well cluttered (and let's be honest: the prices of most objects in this game make no sense lol). Just use the free real estate cheat before you move them in π
Packs I Used (and recommended location):
TOU:Β All I ask is thatΒ 1.Β you do not reupload and claim the build as your ownΒ (yes, even if you tweak it a littleβ¦)Β andΒ 2.Β tag me if you use it! I would love to see this in other peopleβs games and saves, thatβs why Iβm sharing it! <3
While I'm waiting for ingame roofs to be fixed and can't take screenshots of Ondarion for posts and future uploads, I decided to convert some pet objects from TS3 that Iβve really wanted to have in TS4.
The set includes 11 objects. I made both clean and "dirty" swatches for the pet beds and dog houses, so you can play through not only an inherited farm storyline but a backyard dog house too!
The "Bone" sign comes in two versions: one can be hung on the wall, and the other can be placed on the roof or the ground.
The bench can be placed in vet clinics, and even the muddiest pup won't ruin your furniture!
A palm tree scratching post - because sims aren't the only ones who deserve a tropical vacation!
Oh, and a foosball table left over from the previous set is included too! It used to have occasional animation glitches, but I managed to fix them!
A classic Victorian pedal harp with a beautiful brass finish from TV-Sims.
The details on this harp are what made me decide to convert it, it's truly a harp that fits perfectly in a medieval setting.
This CC has nearly 27K polygons, so it's a high poly CC.
In-game, the harp actually has a very beautiful brass coating, the photo below doesn't fully capture the beauty of the harp.
So you should give it a try and see :D
The original mesh and texture belongs to TV-Sims.
This harp was cloned from my Aurelia Pedal Harp CC. If you've already downloaded that CC before, you won't need the 'Harp Sound File' I've attached. But if you haven't downloaded it yet, please copy the files in that folder and paste them into your Downloads folder :D
So many new labs (and some subtly tweaked old coats)!
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING
These custom breeds were made with the VANILLA GAME'S fur and eye colors in mind. If you are using default replacements, some breeds will look drastically different than intended and some colors may be strange or inaccurate.
This is a very large overhaul (158 breed files plus 1 collection file) so your game could lag when you open CAS.
I highly recommend deleting your Groups and Accessory cache files before extracting the overhaul, otherwise the collection may be missing some breeds or appear completely empty.
DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
Pet Breed Files: Extract directly into your PetBreeds folder.
Collection File: Put this in your Collections folder.
Download Links: SFS (MTS link coming soon)
You can safely pick and choose which breeds/variants you want in your game. Please let me know ASAP if something breaks or doesn't look right so I can work on fixing it.
Cozy HomeΒ is a lighting mod for the Sims 2 that was borne out of experimenting with different lighting mods and cherry-picking which features I liked in all of them,Β including sims 2 vanilla lighting.Β
The result is a lighting mod built from the ground-up from vanilla Maxis files and slowly adding in things I liked from other lighting mods.

Hiking Skill
Hiking is a 6 level skill, and is primarily gained by sims going on hikes under the new βHikingβ¦β pie menu option on the Campground Map.
There is also a new hiking skill class available at the Stadium rabbithole for Β§300.
As your sim increases their hiking skill, they will unlock longer hikes and the ability to hike at night.
Going on hikes also raises a simβs athletic skill, albeit slower than a traditional workout.
Sims who get hungry while hiking will automatically eat, though there is a chance that what they eat may make them Nauseous or fall into a Dark Slumber (poisoned).
Sims with low bladder need will βgo in nature,β but they also have a chance of getting the Itchy or Poisoned moodlet after the fact.
If a sim becomes too tired, too hot, or too cold, they will abandon the hike early.
Hiking cooldowns vary depending on how long the simβs hike took to complete and give sims the Fatigued moodlet.
Sims with the Athletic or Adventurous traits, or with a high Athletic skill will have their hiking cooldown cut in half.
Child sims with the Scouting skill (if The Sims 3: Generations is installed) will get a boost in the hiking skill when they age into teens.
Day hikes can take place between 8:00am and 8:00pm, and night hikes can take place between 8:00pm and 4:00am.
Sims can only hike in sunny weather or during a reviving sprinkle (if The Sims 3: Supernatural is installed), unless they have completed the Seasoned Hiker skill challenge.
Sims cannot hike when it is actively snowing or when there is snow on the ground.
By completing the Expert Hiker skill challenge can lead Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced hikes during the day to earn extra simoleons.
Upon successfully completing a hike, sims will have a 2% chance of finding a gnome and a 1% chance of finding a genie lamp.
Hiking Skill Unlock Levels
Level 1: Beginner Hike
Level 2: Beginner Night Hike
Level 3: Intermediate Hike
Level 4: Intermediate Night Hike
Level 5: Advanced Hike
Level 6: Advanced Night Hike
Collectibles
While out hiking, sims have a 30% chance of finding collectibles of varying rarities like gems, metals, space rocks, insects, and wildflowers.
Certain traits or occult states can either increase or decrease your chance of finding collectibles by 5% (note: this value stacks the more traits or occult states your sim has):
Increased Chance -Β Lucky, Gatherer, and Loves The Outdoors
Decreased Chance -Β Unlucky, Loser, and Hates The Outdoors
Night Owls, Vampires, and Werewolves also have a 5% higher chance of finding collectibles on night hikes.
Day hikes and night hikes each have their own set of collectibles that can be found.
Additionally, the longer the hike, the higher the chance of your sim finding rarer collectibles.
All wildflowers can only be found during the day, and the same space rocks can be found both during the day and at night.
A full list of collectibles can be found on the download page under the header βCollectibles.β
Foraging
Sims can go foraging using the βForageβ interaction on the Campground Map.Β
Going foraging will give sims a 30% chance to find harvestables, seeds, and honey/beeswax.Β
Certain traits, skills, or occult states can either increase or decrease your chance of successfully foraging by 5% (note: this value stacks the more traits, skills, or occult states your sim has):
Increased Chance Traits - Lucky, Gatherer, Loves The Outdoors, Green Thumb (or Gardening skill level 5 or higher), and Super Green Thumb (lifetime reward)
Decreased Chance Traits - Unlucky, Loser, and Hates The Outdoors
Night Owls, Vampires, and Werewolves also have a 5% higher chance of finding harvestables while foraging at night.
Sims can forage during the day or at night for 2, 4 or 6 hours at a time, with day foraging and night foraging yielding different harvestables/seeds.
Sims who get hungry while foraging will automatically eat, though there is a chance that what they eat may make them Nauseous or fall into a Dark Slumber (poisoned).
Sims with low bladder need will βgo in nature,β but they also have a chance of getting the Itchy or Poisoned moodlet after the fact.
If a sim becomes too tired, too hot, or too cold, they will abandon foraging early.
Foraging cooldowns vary depending on how long the simβs foraging took to complete and give sims the Fatigued moodlet.
Foraging also carries a 2% risk of contracting Botinitus Minorous, which will turn your sim into a PlantSim.
Upon successfully completing foraging, sims will have a 2% chance of finding a gnome and a 1% chance of finding a genie lamp.
A full list of foraging harvestables/seeds can be found on the download page under the header βForaging.β
Ailments, Injuries, Fear, and Insects
Both hiking and foraging have a chance of giving your sims different ailments or injuries, scaring them, or giving them encounters with insects.
When hiking, there is a 25% chance of a sim developing an ailment, a 40% chance of injury, a 35% chance of fear, and a 25% chance they encounter insects.
When foraging, there is a 40% chance of a sim developing an ailment, a 25% chance of injury, a 35% chance of fear, and a 25% chance they encounter insects.
All of the possible ailment, injury, fear, and insect moodlets are listed below:
Decreased Chance -Β Lucky and Athletic (or Athletic skill level 5 or higher)
Increased Chance -Β Unlucky, Loser, Childish, Clumsy, Coward, Absent Minded, and Hates the Outdoors sims have a higher chance.
Note: If a sim is wearing mosquito repellent (from The Sims 3: Island Paradise), they will not get bitten by mosquitos while hiking or foraging.
Certain moodlets like Bee Attack, On Fire, and Terrified will end a simβs hike early.
Chance of Death
There is also a 5% chance of a sim dying while hiking via drowning, burning to death, or blunt force trauma.
Certain traits, skills, and moodlets can either increase or decrease your chance of death by 5% (note: this value stacks):
Increased Chance - Unlucky, Clumsy, Absent Minded, Loser, Daredevil, Hates the Outdoors, and Tired moodletΒ
Decreased Chance - Lucky, Athletic (or Athletic skill level 5 or higher), Adventurous, Brave, and Hiking Skill (level 4 or higher)
Note: There is no chance of death while foraging.
Tuning
All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the headerΒ βTuning.β
Conflicts & Known Issues
This is a new script mod so there shouldnβt be any conflicts.
Uninstallation
Same as with other custom skills, removing the hiking skill may cause issues in saves where the skill has been used. I have created a new cheat called βuninstallHikingModβ to remove the hiking skill from any sims in the world and cancel all hiking interactions that may be active, but use this mod with caution.

One of the oldest mansions left in Kitakama, owned by the descendants of it's founders, the Nakamuras.
The gardens are splendid to walk through.
The house has been modernised to fit the current times while keeping it's traditional looks. This house took a while to build (obviously) but I'm overall happy with how it turned out. I just hope my game doesn't crash whenever I load it!
Apartments, grocery & nursery (check the mods notes)
CC-free | 5 apartment units | Rent: Β§641 - Β§1,796 | Up to 3 BRs

It's really not a play on Maxis' Seaspray Apartments, I just need some apartments for my BV makeover and these just happen to be placed on the seashore xD I really like these, they're perfect for my sims just starting a family. You don't need to guess which apartment is my favorite obv, but the rest has more appropriate decor for younger sims.
AlsoβοΈ, just to say it in advance, I don't really decorate bedrooms, imo these are the most personal spaces, so no matter the style of the apartment I'd still be able to flex various sims on any of these. I think even irl rental listing bedrooms tend to be bare.
Anyway, here's my recommended mods π
If you want to have a properly functioning grocery, get this mod
Baby bottles for mini-fridges
Watch TV from all chairs
Trim Inaccessible Bushes, so your landlord won't drive you insane

It's THAT apartment. 2 Bedrooms
Apartment #4
