Welcome to my blog! This page is mainly centered around my experiences as a (suspected) sysplex, along with my alterhumanity and CPTSD!

The Howling Traveler is a spirit I created as an OC for the game, but it also doubles as a sorta kinsona for myself.

I’m gonna try to avoid involving syscourse on this page as much as possible, but I am strictly anti endo and any endos or supporters are NOT welcome here.

Not sure where you got that it wasn’t trauma based?? It’s literally right there on my pinned post, I have CPTSD and a possible dissociative disorder, but I don’t like being called a system bc I don’t like to self diagnose.

Does anyone else have childhood memories of being a "faint hearted" kid and your peers or older kids intentionally scaring you for their entertainment. What was that about.

One time in highschool I was standing around with a group of mostly acquaintances and a couple friends, when suddenly one of the acquaintances gripped me by the shoulders and screamed in my face to see if I’d react(news flash: I didn’t, I have a freeze/fawn response) still don’t know what compelled him to do that

I love you angry people. I love you sad and angry and scared and anxious and traumatized people who want so desperately to be kind. You have kindness inside you. You have a bright shining light that’s screaming to be let out, but it’ll take time.

It takes time to feel safe enough to smile again. To ask for help and say please and thank you. To let yourself cry when you’re sad. It takes time, but it will happen.

Idk who needs to hear this but your friends are NOT your caregivers.

If you’re stuck in bed with depression, your friend can be there to make you breakfast sometimes and give you extra love when you’re down. When you’re feeling sick or in pain and can’t physically do something, your friends can carry your heavy bag for you or bring you some soup on the weekend. Your people can be there to comfort you, but that’s it.

This is especially true if you’re a teenager or young adult, or if you’re the type who makes friends with ppl who have similar issues as you. You may feel helpless, maybe you’re depressed, chronically ill, stuck in an abusive situation, etc, but your friends are just as helpless as you. Your friends have their own lives and their own problems, they can’t care for you and they certainly can’t fix you. Friends can support you through texts and calls, maybe the occasional gift, advice, a hug, but that’s it. You can’t expect anyone else to take responsibility for you, I know it sucks but you are your own problem to deal with.

Whether you’re living in the worst hell imaginable, or are just going through a rough patch, that isn’t anyone else’s problem. Treating the people around you as caregivers is wrong, even if they say it’s alright. I can tell you, as someone who’s been put in that position before, it’s not ok. I’m the type of person who will ALWAYS try to help, even if I know I can’t actually do anything I’ll still try, even if I know it’ll negatively affect me I’ll still say it’s fine, I’ll give up my whole life if my friends asked, and that’s so dangerous. When I was busy watching and fussing over my friends mental health instead of my own guess what happened? I almost died because I put my own needs on the back burner. What happened when my friend asked me for something I knew I couldn’t do and I tried anyway? I almost died.

Take care of yourself.

I don't go to places where the trees won't go. They have a good taste, they know what they like and I like what they like. If I go somewhere and there's no trees, I'm leaving, because it probably sucks in there. The trees knew this, and that's why they're not there.

the thing is, it does genuinely get better. it might not get better tomorrow, or in the next week, or in the next year, but it will get better. it might actively be getting worse. but it won't forever. eventually, things will turn around, and they will get better. and chances are, there'll be another turn, and they'll get worse again. nothing stays the same, and you need to remember that no matter how bad things are, they will get better. i promise. i promise.

but i would like to add: “overhated animals” includes various insects, reptiles, arachnids, etc., by the way. not just the cute mammals and avians.

ants. mosquitoes. spiders. tarantulas. “creepy” spiders. everyday house spiders. flies. snakes. scorpions. centipedes, millipedes. moths. not just the “cute ones”. not just the “harmless ones”. no exceptions. all the little guys who aren’t valued as they deserve to be, who are often swatted, crushed and killed without hesitation, without a second thought.

those are all animals who all have important ecological roles in their own environments and, beyond that, are living creatures who deserve to live just because they are alive. life is precious, and that applies to all life. you gotta be nice to ‘em
