20s I like dolls(+ all their respect medias), books… And that’s about it (I lied there’s more). ALSO TAYLOR SWIFT!!!! (I was also in denial about being a weeb when I wrote this but oh well) I am now also obsessed with Jason Todd and have started collecting comics(there goes my money,or whatever was left of it)

It might just fully be my hatred for dc acting like Jason doesn't have a Robin run speaking. But I honestly kinda hate when Jason is characterized to hate his Robin days and never wanting to think about or associate with them and to leave them all behind.

I think it's fun for him to love n miss those days and ache knowing he'll never get them back because it was so abruptly taken away + Bruce will never chose him. Like- I'm not saying he wants to be Robin again (though sometimes I do like exploring the potential of one last adventure in order to put it to proper rest) JUST! I don't like it being swept away and all gone and oh Jason hates it all n doesn't like any of it ever. Maybe I'd feel different if DC themselves weren't trying to sweep away his Robin days but ah. They are. So here we are

If I could make another NATLA zutara wish let it be that zuko would grovel MORE once he gets to join the gaang. I’m aware that it was iroh who he betrayed the most in the catacombs scene but I’m focusing on Katara here. Because what do you mean it was as if he had no idea why she was so mad at him? The catacombs scene never made an impact in his mind? Someone who offered to heal or at least try to see if she could heal his scar didn’t at all leave a mark on him? Someone who he shared why he had his scar just wasn’t that significant for him? And I mean sure he worked on redeeming himself but I’m talking about groveling here not whether he actually changed or not because obviously he changed. SHE WAS THE FIRST TO TRUST HIM BACK IN BA SING SE. Tell me why he wouldn’t have been more shy and ashamed towards her when he joined the gaang. And look I get it, a part of the reason why she’s mad at him was that she was also projecting her anger for her mother’s death onto him. BUT STILL SHE SHOULD’VE ALSO BEEN ENGRAVED IN HIS MIND.

Parents blame kids!

I’m sorry but I feel like it needs to be said. Percy would 100% get angry and blame Sally in real life. Jason blames Bruce, which is normal. Kids blame parents, that’s normal. Everyone has at one point or another blamed their parents for something. It doesn’t mean you don’t have a good relationship or that they’re bad parents. But kids more than anyone will point out their parents faults. Kids more than anyone are aware of their parents thoughts.

Sally Jackson was better than most of the PJO parents, but she still made a hell of a lot of mistakes. Bruce has always been an absymal parent, particularly to kids like Jason, like Steph and even Duke to an extent. It is normal for them to blame him.

Why is it always Percy apologising? Why is it always Jason apologising? What is it Steph apologising??

Good people have flaws!

Jason is not a terrible person for blaming Bruce. Neither is Steph. If Percy did decide to blame Sally he wouldn’t be wrong!!!

fraction’s batman was always unimaginative at best but it feels particularly sinister to tear down the character of a brown woman (who’s one of the strongest and genuine love interests of bruce) in favour of the new white love interest, completely just making shit up to paint her as an unfeeling seductress AGAIN while insulting her culture for no added plot value all at the same time. how the hell do you even manage that in one single page

any characterization that misses the fact that talia al ghul is a sweetie pie with natural aegyo is a bad talia characterization. this is not in conflict with her being a cunning manipulative schemer it’s just that she’s a schemer who gets away with it by batting her eyelashes. whenever she’s being visibly cold or angry or yelling at someone that’s a talia al ghul in distress okay talia al ghuls in happy and safe conditions do not act like that.

i hate tank jason todd im sorry, like i try not to be a hater but i hate him being built like a wall SO much its not even funny. it makes no sense for the way he fights to create that build like it would literally impede his fighting style. hes a gymnast, a martial artist, and a marksman, none of which create giant builds especially with the amount of cardio they all do

also its literally been a major plot point multiple times across multiple decades that he looks and moves almost exactly like dick it is such a core part of their relationship and jasons character as a whole like i literally hate it im sorry guys

like its fine if ur into it freak flag fly or whatever but its antithetical to his character imo guys i just cant 😭😭
