This is a new side blog of mine! I will follow you (back) with my primary blog.
Long rant incoming, be warned. (I really need to rewrite this oof.)
First things first: Yes, I'm a radfem leaning/learning feminist, no, I don't hate trans people and I don't wish them any harm.
I actually used to identify as agender and "queer" for years myself before waking up and realising that the gender ideology is flawed. (I also couldn't stand the lies and gaslighting anymore.) I'm still part of the LGBT community, though, since I'm a bisexual woman. (And probably aro/ace? Idk, it's difficult to figure this out. I might just be a bisexual woman who rarely falls in love and who just isn't a very sexual person. It doesn't really matter anyways, does it? I like being single. 🤷♀️)
I'm trying to learn more about radical and other types of feminism, but I'm not a radical feminist myself, yet. I do agree with many, if not all, of its points, though, and many radfems have helped me in different ways before, so no, I don't hate them and I don't think that they're evil people for wanting to protect women, children and their single sex spaces and sports. They don't want to kill or harm trans people or "take their rights away" and I think that's something many people misunderstood. (Trans issues aren't even their priority. They want to fight for and help women who suffer from different patriarchal issues like domestic violence for example, they want protection for (ex) sex workers (and want to abolish sex work and porn altogether) and more. It's about protection and liberation!! Not harming other people. And saying no is NOT violence. They are not racists or nazis either. Where did that even come from? -.- (Maybe it's because of all of those transphobic conservatives and fascists who are NOT even feminists, but claim to be? Radfems are not conservative/right wing!!))
I do however think that it's important to call out bad behaviour and to criticise people when it's necessary (no matter who it is)! There unfortunately are some "radfems" out there that aren't feminists at all. I obviously don't agree with those people.
I also don't hate men, but I do hate the ones who uphold, enable, take part in and protect the patriarchy, sexism, abusers and so on. I hate men as a system (the oppressor class), but I don't hate them as people or as a whole. They are not naturally evil (I'm not a bioessentialist), they DECIDE to do evil things and that's the problem. (Socialisation and conditioning play big roles, too (aka learned behaviour.))
I don't agree with hate, name calling and sending death or rape threats (get your shit together, seriously). Calling out and criticising predatory, sexist and otherwise bad behaviour isn't hate and stating scientific facts/material reality isn't abuse or violence. I'm a big fan of common sense.
Feminism should be intersectional and anti-capitalist imo.
My beliefs and goals ⤵️
I'm against: the patriarchy, sexism and the sexualisation/objectification of women, racism, antisemitism, xenophobia, porn, prostitution, kink, bdsm, sex work and the sw industry (I'm NOT against the workers!!! They need support, safety and a way out of this industry), capitalism, fast fashion, the exploitation of workers, ableism, war and (male) violence, fascism, homophobia, biphobia, actual transphobia, gender roles and stereotypes/expectations, patriarchal/organised religions that oppress women and children (not only Islam btw, Christianity and other religions are sexist, too. Don't use your criticism to justify racism. I'm also NOT against religious women and I don't hate them, but I'm still critical of their religions and their practices especially when they harm women and children. Women need the option to really choose and not just blindly follow religious rules just because they are scared of the consequences/male violence.), the beauty and plastic surgery industry, beauty standards (they are eurocentric, racist and pedophilic), ageism, choice feminism (yes, women should be able to choose, but not every choice is feminist!!! It's not misogynistic to call out anti feminist things and behaviour.), rape, sexual assault and harassment, abuse of any kind, pedophilia, child abuse, child marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM), puberty blockers and transitioning children, surrogacy, human trafficking, animal abuse, the meat and dairy industry, fatphobia, bioessentialism, drag (it used to be an art form apparently? But now it's just a way to mock and make fun of all sorts of women. Drag Queens look like exaggerated caricatures. It's sexist and misogynistic. We aren't humans to them. Do I have to say more than the words "fish" or "roast beef"? There are even some Drag Queens that dress up as sex dolls, disabled women or Anne Frank of all people (look up Trixie Martell). That's unacceptable like wtf.), AI (platforms like chatgpt, AI "art", AI chat bots, etc. AI can be dangerous and it's bad for our environment and mental health. It also steals from real people. (Using AI to identify cancer for example is another thing of course.)), poverty, social injustice and treating homeless people like shit, [more will be added, there's NO order here, I just wrote down what came to my mind, some things are more severe or important than others ofc, but they all hold importance]
I'm pro: feminism aka the liberation of women and the end of patriarchy, abortion (pro-choice), female separatism, decentering men and prioritising women, 4B (I don't blame or dislike osa women for dating men btw, it's normal to crave relationships and to love your partner), women/female only spaces and sports, ethical erotica -> books/fanfics, audio books, sexual art or simply your imagination (media preferably made by and for women) that do NOT reproduce misogynistic practices instead of regular porn (sex is a natural part of life and I say this as a non sexual (?) person. ...I'm not a 100% sure on this topic yet tbh, but written/drawn erotica and your imagination are better than real porn), gender abolition! (gender consists of sexist stereotypes, roles and expectations, it's bs. What's real is your biological sex! (Gender ≠ sex. Gender is a social construct, sex is a biological reality. And yes, this includes "intersex" people/people with a DSD, they are still either female or male since DSDs are sex specific. You can't change your sex, you can only hide it.), BUT your sex doesn't or rather shouldn't determine your character traits, personality, responsibilities and so on (like I said, I'm not a bioessentialist). You should behave, dress and basically exist in whatever way you want to, no matter if you're female or male. Biological/material realities and differences however shouldn't be discarded, they are important. Especially when it comes to female only issues like abortion or general health issues. We are oppressed because of our sex! And you can't identify out of oppression. I learned that the hard way.), gender non conformity and self-acceptance (instead of transitioning unless there is NO other way of treating dysphoria. Real dysphoria is valid and horrible! But taking hormones and getting surgeries are always risky and should be the last option, not the first!! Some things aren't reversible and only adults should be able to transition. Also, plastic surgeons are money hungry and capitalist people and being a life long patient dependent on meds isn't fun. I truly believe that they don't want what's best for you.), the adoption of children and animals, veganism (I know that not everyone can be vegan, but we should all do our best to reduce cruelty), nature conservation and environmental protection, just...common sense, I guess, [more will be added, there's no order]
My ask box is closed because I don't want to get hate messages or threats. If we're mutuals you can always message me.
That's all for now.
/This introduction is still "under construction" and I made this blog, because I was angry ngl. I will edit all of this in the future./
