notes: i used rice wine vinegar instead of sake and tbh…. it is an excellent swap. makes the sauce soo tangy >:) i didn’t have potato starch on hand either so i used cornstarch– still super super good! i suspect that potato starch would make them more toothsome/chewy, but i couldnt find any, and as is i think the super soft smooth inside + crispy skin + sticky sauce is like. god tier food!!!

the potatoes take long enough to steam that it’s plenty of time to make the sauce! i also made mine like ~70g instead of 100g because 100g is So Big and i like to have lots of little ones

This is how I learned to do it and a good example of what you want to see in a short form tutorial: pinning, pressing, seam finishing, good fabric handling.

I would mention that you can make the pocket facing with a small panel of your matching fabric that is visible and the rest in a lighter fabric to reduce bulk. That's a lot of denim layers for comfort.

this and also fanfic writers choosing to write a chapter a year, because they don’t want to write more often than that, or abandoning their works entirely because they lose interest and don’t feel like continuing anymore is also a valid reason, and you’re an entitled asshole if you attack, guilt trip or shame them for it (being sad/disappointed is completely okay and normal, you can’t control how your mind feels and reacts to something, what matters is that you respect the author’s decision and don’t be a dick to them about it).

fanfic writers write for themselves and their own enjoyment. they’re kind enough to let you read their works for free. they don’t owe you any explanation. they don’t owe you the details of their personal lives. they don’t owe you anything.
