I had a dream. I was in a prestigious high school and in the middle class. Not too smart, not too dumb, not too popular, not unknown. People have mediocre expectations for me.

I'm fine with that.

But one night, I decided to kill someone. I didn't know them personally and Vice versa. I just... decided to hit them in the head. With a bat. I took the precautions to wear gloves and dark clothes but the saw my face. I thought that it wouldn't matter and left them for dead.

Then, for some reason, they called my house. The student didn't know it was my house. They were desperate for help. My dad answered the call and was contemplating calling the police. He gave the phone to me.

I said: "Hello. I'm your classmate from ******* High School. Is there something wrong?" I made my voice a little higher than usual. I made sure to limit the amount of knowledge that she knew about me as to not figure out it was me.

But she went silent.

Me: "Hello?"

I knew. I knew that the bitch figured out who I was. I hoped that she would get ran over.

Then, I re-imagined the situation. This time, I had a mask and took away her phone. I had successfully eliminated her.
