It's all going to be okay
I know a lot of people in the USA and across the world are nervous about the election, but don't give up. There are still many people who haven't voted, and many of them will soon.
We have a chance to move forward, and together we can. Syscourse shouldn't be the biggest thing systems are talking about right now.
Denying the existence of other people because they don't fit your idea of what a system is will not help anyone. As far as we are concerned, they (and you all know who they are) will see us all as subpar human beings.
We have to work together. Being divided over systems who formed for reasons other than trauma isn't helping anyone right now. Not when they will deny that all of us exist regardless of that.
We should all try being nicer to each other, but if someone gives you disrespect, then they open the door to being disrespected back. Don't sit around talking shit about people and expecting them to be silent/ignore you/not interact with you.
Besides, when we respond to terrible things being said, it isn't for the OP, it is for the people who might see their post. To give a different perspective outside of the hateful things that are said.
There are so many people accusing folks of spreading misinformation. The biggest piece of misinformation we see in the system community is the definition of what an endogenic system is.
Endogenic systems form for reasons OTHER than trauma. They do not lack it entirely.
But the biggest point is, endogenic systems are not the threat to the system community. People who hate anyone who doesn't fit a certain demographic hate all of us.
The hate is in the wrong direction, and it needs to stop.
Don't give up folks. Maybe one day people will understand that we are not enemies. Sure there are bad apples on both sides, but basing an entire group on the bad apples is just toxic. Get to know people, talk to them, ask questions in good faith.
We're better together not divided.
