Sorry, Millennials, but recent paleontologist findings and hyolaryngeal apparatus reconstructions no longer support the hypothesis that "rawr" means "I love you" in dinosaur.
I made you a bibliography but I eated it :(
Ha I wonder how many strokes the most complex Chinese character has like maybe eightee-
Has a Chinese son, names him bèng-dá, and he hates me
My beloved son 䨻龘 just trying to write his name in kindergarten
when richard siken said "he was pointing at the moon but i was looking at his hand" i had no choice but to go crazy with longing
@moethh don't hide this in the tags
Editorial illustrations for a conference discussing AI’s impact on communities.
I would totally watch like, an annotated drama from another country. Like a Chinese historical drama with copious footnotes like my annotated edition of Pride & Prejudice that tells me the historical and social context. I'm a whore for Viki adding context to dramas in brackets. Yes please, let me know that "come up for ramen" is the English equivalent of "Netflix and chill." Tell me if they switch from formal to informal speech and honorifics. Like obviously this would be a ton of work but if they just did it with one or two really popular ones, I'd be in heaven
my favorite thing about the mystery genre is that we all accept the concept of "world famous detective" without hesitation even though that is absolutely not a real category of celebrity
when you show up to the met gala you should immediately be faced with a panel of fashion experts and art historians before you even get to the red carpet and you have to explain your outfit choice and why it is on theme for that year’s event like you are defending a phd and if you can’t produce a coherent defence they turn you away at the door and the people of manhattan are allowed and encouraged to throw rotten produce at you as you get back into your car in shame
i love when museums have near exact replicas of their displayed objects for you to buy. haha 15th century ceramic cup you are in my possession
Went to a museum exhibit once that had this little guy
10/10, give me tiny replicas of animal statues that I am encouraged to pat as part every exhibit ever please
there aren't even any tomboys in movies anymore. like should we all die
The problem with commercial F/M romance is that it's written by the most heterosexual women alive and reading it you feel yourself slowly suffocating from the Gender of it all like a fish in a eutrophying lake. And what we actually need as a culture is F/M written by insane bisexuals violently allergic to heteronormativity
this summer we WALK IN A RANDOM DIRECTION and NEVER STOP
i'm hearing reports that it's becoming illegal to piss me off
