Biochemical hyperandrogenism: the levels of androgens in the blood are considered higher than typical

Ex. someone with CAIS could have profound biochemical hyperandrogenism with no external signs or even clinical hypo-androgenism, or vice versa for someone with PCOS!

5-alpha reductase deficiency (often referred to as 5ard) is a variation in which someones body with (typically) XY chromosomes is not able to convert a sufficient amount of testosterone to 5-alpha dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT influences things such as genitalia development, body hair growth, and voice deepening. people with 5ard are commonly assigned female at birth.

a lotus flower was chosen to symbolize perseverance and growth. lotuses are also tied to water, which was chosen to represent change. yellow and white were chosen for purity and joy. purple was chosen for pride.
