I feel like Billy is a very dissociative person. I mean, I would too if I wanted to literally kill all my friends. I think the "it's all just one great, big movie" line was actually a hint into how Billy copes with everything.
His mom left? Backstory. Killing his girlfriends mom? Simply an act that haunts the narrative later on. Killing his friends (boyfriend cough cough) girlfriend? Just a random kill to keep the audience on their toes. He thinks he's acting in a horror movie. That's why in the final act both Stu and Billy do get a bit theatrical with their movements and way of speech even when they haven't before (or at least not on the same level). They're acting. This is their horror movie, they know the plot, the theme, the characters, everything (Well at least until they die).
if you're gonna make a 40 minute youtube video fakeclaiming a person who claims to have a disorder, the least you could do is do more research on the disorder aside from looking at a fucking wikipedia page and "erm, uhm"ing your way throughout the process.
"uhm, their alters have roles/names/backgrounds that are way too weird for a system." "err, amnesia doesn't work that way. obviously they're faking." if you did a lick of research about disassociative disorders you can easily learn to describe them as a spectrum. no disorder where it disorients a person's sense of self is going to be textbook copy of what you read.
the first thing you learn about disassociative disorders is that they all have their own layouts, rules, appearances, and amnesiac effects and barriers on each person. some are similar. but that doesn't make them the same.
what's even worse is the fact that there are disassociative disorder professional researchers who refuse to fakeclaim a system solely for that reason. so WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU?
don't speak about something you don't understand. don't talk about a disorder like as if you've experienced it first-hand UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE.
and for the love of god, don't just call someone's disorder "fake" just because it sounds like it. just because they might not have DID or some other kind of disassociative disorder, doesn't mean there's not something else going on.

obviously it's a controversial topic as is bc it's about a famous systems account, BUT STILL. the poster's speech was obviously uneducated and it just made the video come off clunky and hateful instead of informational.

hello everyone! this is my formal explanation as to why I believe pluralswitch was at least partially generated with AI and therefore receiving a formal disclaimer on daffodil.
the first thing you will notice when you open up pluralswitch's website is that it looks vibe coded. it follows all of the current trends for web design and development and is "sleek and modern", as is most of the modern web.
however, the UI doesn't make much sense. the thing that made me initially suspicious was this random textbox above the title that seemed to serve no purpose.
"premium plural tools" does not generate any meaningful results on google, and "get started for free" makes no sense as it implies a premium tier (which, to pluralswitch's credit, has not been implemented!)
There is also no metadata description for the site, which is hard for a real dev to miss; to be fair, i believe daffodil doesn't have a description either, but it's still suspicious.
The code of Plural Switch's homepage is... messy. First of all, a grand majority of the styling is done within HTML itself, which is a big no-no in site development; it's possible, but it clogs up your code. All devs worth their salt will link a CSS stylesheet rather than doing the styling within HTML.
The box model provided is also strange, as it implies that the right margin is manually set to -186 px. This is a VERY strange way to center an element, and is again indicative of an inexperienced programmer (or prompter).
Finally, glancing into the console very quickly lets you know that the app was built on FIrebase, but is failing to access it (another flaw indicative of an inexperienced programmer).

To be entirely fair, I have never used Firebase. It is built on Visual Studio Code, which I do use (without the optional AI features), as does every dev. However, Firebase seems much more involved with AI and AI features.
All in all, be careful using PluralSwitch! I will keep it on the site for now, but the AI disclaimer will be reworded to link to this post.

a quick glance at pluralswitch's codebase has confirmed for me that the project was almost definitely made with AI, and pluralswitch will soon receive a more formal AI disclaimer once i type up an explanation on why i believe the project to be AI-generated.
please do not send hate to pluralswitch's devs in the meantime! it is entirely possible i could be wrong, but i would like to lay out my case for review from more experienced devs first :]
