heyyyyyy @thecouncil-aac soup's on!!! i have more to do for yall but tumblr only lets me upload 10 at a time
I had an auditory hallucination for the first time ever this morning lmao.
I woke up really early on accident and shut my eyes for a little bit resulting in a short lucid dream and sleep paralysis- which I'm pretty used to by now it's more annoying then scary... Did not expect to hear what sounded like a crowd of people off in the distance followed by a loud bug buzzing in my right ear ( that one might've been real though, mosquitos have been sneaking into our house lately >:/ )
I figured out what was going on pretty fast still a bit spooky though, and the irony of having my first auditory hallucination on the first of October isn't lost on me though hahah.

An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Pairing: Josh/Donna
Warnings: panic attack, anxiety
Summary:
Josh and a sleeping Donna are driving home from a weekend getaway, when two hours of Christmas music, mixed with alone time with his thoughts, is catalyzed by passing ambulance sirens into a sudden panic attack. He hasn't had one in years, but he still remembers what to do, and thankfully Donna is there to hold his hand through it.
The propensity to hear ‘voices’ in Schizophrenia may be established by infancy
People with schizophrenia who experience auditory hallucinations have greater activation in specific areas of the auditory cortex in response to sound frequencies. The mapping of sound frequency in the auditory cortex is scrambled in those with schizophrenia, suggesting a disruption in the normal processes for organized sound representation in the brain. As the tonotopic map is established during infancy and remains stable throughout life, the findings suggest vulnerability for auditory hallucinations is linked to defects in the organization of the auditory system during infantile development. This precedes speech development and the onset of psychiatric symptoms.
I hate when i cant listen to music without thinking or hearing some kind of subliminal message in it. I just want to listen to this dumb song about needing no man but noo there is someone saying in the backround music that im being watched
either have an asshole ghost or auditory hallucinations and I'm not sure which one I'd prefer bc honestly this is the collision of 2 areas of interest for me, but, um, REALLY TIRED OF BEING WOKEN UP
Does anybody else get auditory hallucinations when they are about to fall asleep?
Music, talking, loud bangs, screams, alarms? I'm hearing these more and more.
It kinda hurts when I stop hearing then
