Augmundr is a dark elf who survived the crusades and is currently the benefactor of the NYC sumcommunity [like a mayor for the supernatural side of the region].
What is their voice like?
Augmundr:
Augmundr's got a very warm voice tone, about medium road pitch, not high pitched but definitely not deep. You could think of the general stereotype of a warm, friendly english teacher and you'd about get him. He has a faint scandinavian accent that's hes lost over the century or two he's been in the continental USA.
Thorvi:
Thorvi's got a voice like a clear bell, very clean and precise diction, and shares Augmundr's accent. She'd be a bit of an alto and is easy to understand at most distances without having to shout.
Hermann:
Here, just listen to this. Hermann's entire physical appearance is modelled off of Costas Mandylor and his voice is no different. Hermann has a very thick german accent, though.
Describe the way that they sleep.
Augmundr:
Augmundr is a starfish. He went apeshit when he learned about memory foam mattresses and has a room in his home that's wall to wall memory foam mattresses on the floor, stacked three layers high, and he just starfishes on em. He's an easy sell for a lot of fun things.
Thorvi:
Thorvi is an average sleeper, average queen sized bed, and is primarily a belly sleeper. She'll usually have one or two of those fuckoff big borzoi weevils in bed with her.
Hermann:
Hermann tosses and turns like the devil. He's got a cali king thats covered in high fiber count silk sheets and bedfurs and he'll wake up wrapped in them as if he had crossed the antarctic in his sleep. That's when he's sleeping alone. When he's sleeping with someone else, regardless of platonic sexual or romantic relation, he ends up big spooning them. It's purely a comfort seeking reflex.
Being that Hermann is seven foot four, this is scary for anyone experiencing it for the first time.
What is their greatest achievement?
Augmundr:
It's between two things. One is forming the Mimic Rout subcommunity and maintaining it to this day- one of the largest subcommunities in the region- with a thriving community. The other is his daughter, Audr, who he had with Thorvi.
Thorvi:
She also views Audr are one of her greatest achievements. Audr takes a lot from Thorvi- their love of entomology is very much inherited from her- and she sees a lot of herself in them.
Hermann:
The entire study of paranthropology [anthropology of paranatural people, like werewolves, elves, centaurs, etc] was pioneered by him after traveling the globe on a series of research trips to build the core base of the subject. He remains a leading expert in the field.
What is something that they’re sure to laugh at?
Augmundr:
Augmundr loves seeing fucked up bootleg shit being sold on corners and shit. He loves kitsch and gayly patterened materials. If a shirt makes him laugh, he's definitely going to buy it. Which is why he looks like he does up there.
Thorvi:
The Jackass movies. She didn't have the stomach for em at first but they're her favorite things to decompress with. She's thrown up from laughing too hard at certain stunts.
Hermann:
Without fail, Hermann will always lose his shit at the "ten inch pianist" joke.
A man walks into a bar, orders a drink, then takes out from his pocket a tiny man and a tiny piano. He puts them on the counter, and the tiny man begins to play the piano beautifully.
The bartender, obviously impressed, asks the man, "Wow, where did you find him?"
"I wished on this magic lamp," says the man, taking a lamp out of his other pocket.
"Wow! Can I try?"
"Sure, go ahead."
So the bartender concentrates and rubs the lamp. All of a sudden, the bar is absolutely filled with ducks.
"What's going on?" the bartender shouts. "I asked for a million bucks!"
"Do you really think I wished for a ten-inch pianist?"
Something that they regret?
Augmundr:
Losing Ebbe in the crusades. To this day he holds himself responsible.
Thorvi:
Losing Ebbe in the crusades. Even still, she feels responsible.
Hermann:
Definitely choosing a paranatural college in Ohio to teach at. There's not a lot of options to pick from in the US though, and Ulalume in Ohio was the first one that got back to him to offer him a position and it was one of the better ones anyway.
