m u d r a Mudras are hand or body gestures locks that create circuits of pranic energy that stimulate, heal & balance us integrally. Lotus mudra stimulates the heart chakra and is a symbol of purity. A lotus flower floats in the surface of the pond and opens up to the sun as its roots are deeply fixed into the muddy bottom, from where it emerged, holding the flower firm and strong. It is a symbol of light and beauty emerging from the darkness. This mudra is formed by touching the thumb and little fingers of both hands and opening up the fingers like a flower shape-both offering and receptive. Relax your shoulders, arms, and hands and hold it close to the center of your chest. You can do it for as long as you feel like, anywhere. By practicing it regularly you may feel grounded, strong and joyful. This mudra drains out misunderstanding & tension. Balances the fire element in the body. It aids in cultivating love and affection, and gives comfort in loneliness and when feeling heartbroken. It takes practice to open the heart. #backbendworkshop #lotusmudra The Art of deepening your backbend Workshop August 1-2, https://anapnoeyoga.com/shop/classes/deepening-backbends-yoga-workshop-hatha-vinyasa-anapnoe-yoga-paros-greece/ @anapnoeyoga @yogashalaparos #revealwoman #yoga #yogaforhealth #meditation #gonatural #yogalifestyle #anapnoeyogalifestyle #backbendworkshop #anapnoeyoga #essenceyoga #liveyoga #yogateacher #yogatherapy #yogaparos #yogashala #woman #yogamandala #yogapsycology #iranajianyoga #integralyoga #healigmovement #yogateachertraining #chakrayoga #consciousness #transformationalyoga #findyourcenter #vinyasakrama #alignwithyoursoul #awakening (at Yoga Shala Paros) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzYutIsIY8l/?igshid=lyggvf5nqhl3
