thinking of a universe called too many micheals where I put anotehr micheal into TMA and im thinking its gonna be Micheal the good place. I love him so much
anywy base concept is micheal tgp is corruption (i was also thinking he could maybe be web but i do thing corruption makes a lot of sense) avatar and he's full of firefly squid. Which glow. And it would be really cool. and also images of those things squick me in the same way bugs do so it makes sense. and so he has a town and it is INFESTED with bugs and its his domain during the eyepocalypse. and he kidnapped a bunch of humans from a stranger domain and is just vibing with them? he's so human despite being a group of firefly squid in a skinsuit.
Janet's an eye-stranger manifestation brought on by the whole ah... fear of Alexas and stuff. She's great she knows everything and is feeding off showing the eye this novel situation and also being super uncanny. Janet :D
Eleanor was being tormented by the stranger, Jason was being tormented by the stranger, Tahani was being desolationed and Chidi was being... spiraled? i think spiral works best for him.
Chidi spiral concept btw he has to constantly be touching someone otherwise he starts spiraling (literally his body becomes unproportional and he leaves this plain of existance)
Anyway so plot is um Micheal has to go kidnap a Janet/eye avatar. For information purposes. for the corruption, because some corruption avatars are getting concerned about what the Web is up to during the eyepocolypse. So Shawn (because Micheal is shit at listening to the corruption... my guy its literally a part of you!) has to go tell micheal. Shawn is full of parasitic caterpillars. He's terrifying and goopy and he cocoons people. Micheal goes "yup!" and he does find an eye avatar!!! yay :D... but ah... he also finds these two humans in a stranger manifestation who latch onto him and won't let him go... so he guesses he has to take them home with him (micheal no! No adopting random humans off the side of the street) and then they adopt a rogue heiress and a man whose had his entire life deconstructed and now theyre in hiding.
"no shawn I didn't find an eye avatar :c Im sorry :c. I can go out and look again.... no? you can do it yourself? Great thx!"
this is the webs plan to get the corruption off its back btw everyone here is being manipulated.
Anyway eventually Jon and Martin show up and Micheal's like... dang another one? but he's still slightly evil so time to try and secretly capture an avatar of the god of Knowing Things without getting your secret ring of humans exposed...
micheal is so doomed
send me asks about this btw I want to flesh it out :pleading:
"Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?"
I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED.
Let me explain.
I have been a fan of Dorothy L. Sayer's Lord Peter Wimsey novels and short stories since I was a little tiny protodyke. I have never written any Sayers fanfic (I do have a WIP, but I got the idea about four years ago and my writing time has been somewhat occupied since.)
All of the Wimsey novels written by Sayers take place before WWII, but we know that Lord Peter Wimsey was still alive and doing well into the 1950s, because the action of The Late Scholar, a semi-canonical novel by Jill Paton Walsh, takes place in 1953. Wimsey was born in 1890, so in 1953 he is a spry, active, 63-year-old.
Canonically, Wimsey was part of the British Secret Service since WWI. Not James Bond: he did semi-diplomatic jobs where his talents of observation, intelligence, and capacity for making friends of all sorts, was put to the use of his country's government. Only a very few people in MI6 are aware Wimsey holds any kind official position with them: because he is (canonically) very, very rich, there is no pay trail. He is essentially doing everything on a word and a nod.
The idea I came up with was: Suppose that the British government has a Question about the activities of someone in the British Army in Korea. It's some kind of tricky, subtle issue where they do not want to summon the man they suspect home to answer questions until they are absolutely confident they have the answers. They might even decide not to summon him home at all, but leave him loose with a keen observing eye on him.
I would of course need to think out exactly what this kind of thing was, but the fact of it was: what I wanted was for Wimsey to go to Korea as Major Wimsey, apparently as a silly kind of aristocrat who's been given a nominal job to do but is making no secret of the fact that he just fancied seeing Korea and couldn't actually get into the country without a military job to do. He last saw active service in WWI. He's very good at coming across as a bally fool.
Well, Wimsey gets the information he's been sent to get, and realises in the course of doing so that the man whom he was sent to get the data on, is much more than a mere greedy rogue: he is ruthless and has almost certainly arranged the deaths of a couple of men already whom this officer just suspected of knowing more about his undercover activities than he wanted them to know.
While Wimsey has been playing the babbling silly aristocrat for all he's worth, his target kindly arranges his return home in such a way that Major Wimsey could easily be accidentally killed en route, and Wimsey decides he'd rather not risk it, and he'd like to get out of this British unit as fast as possible. His original plan for escape was a French unit a few miles off - he naturally speaks French perfectly - but just as he is thinking this, he sees an officer from and American unit stowing supplies in the back of his jeep, and he decides that spontaneous is better than anything, and climbs into the other side of the jeep and tells the medical officer he'd really like a lift.
A whole bunch of decisions have to be made.
First of all, am I telling this story from the POV of Wimsey or Hawkeye? (Obviously it's Hawkeye in the jeep, collecting an arterial vein graft from an amputated British soldier.)
If Hawkeye, then the story begins when a British officer with a better posh accent than Trapper's climbs into the jeep, asks for a lift, explains to Potter (or Henry Blake) that he needs a chopper ride to Tokyo from the 4077th, and departs: a few weeks later hampers from Fortnum and Mason appear at the 4077th, with the grateful thanks of Lord Peter Wimsey. In terms of MASH episodes, Wimsey would barely be a C-plot - the A-plot would be the casualty who needed the arterial vein graft, the B-plot would be something to do with one or more of the ensemble characters, and like a fey blond thread, there would also be the weird 60-ish British officer who cannot properly explain himself or why he wants to get out of there.
If Wimsey, then the story begins when Wimsey realises that if he stays any longer within the grasp of the British army, he could end up dead: he must get back to commercial air travel via some other country's units. He observes the weirdnesses of life at the 4077th, charms everyone without even trying, and is extremely relieved to get out of there and go home.
Both versions have their charms, and the advantage of telling it from Hawkeye's POV is that I would not have to try to emulate Dorothy L. Sayers.
The amount of effort I would have to put into what could only be a very slight story and the amount of time it would take to research and write, and the fact that this would be a story with backstory longer than the narrative... all in all, I would probably never write it.
Also, what season does it happen in? Henry Blake is most likely just to let a total stranger hitch a ride on a chopper to Tokyo. Colonel Potter and Major Wimsey both served in WWI and could bond over that - also they both love horses and Wimsey rides very well. Trapper does a posh English accent delightfully. Charles would be actively falling over himself to make nice with Lord Peter Wimsey. If I never write it I never have to decide.
Yesterday I saw this psychonauts and invader zim fic and I like the concept of Dib as a psychonaut psychic. Mainly because it would fit the joke of him having a big head (because psychics, especially psychic aliens are often portrayed with big heads), and because I like the thought of him finding a sense of belonging and help through Raz and adults like Sasha and Milla who are actually helpful.
He desperately needs people in his life who actually give him the support he needs instead of brushing him off as crazy or insane, and it would also be funny if the psychonauts met Zim and saw him as an evil version of Raz because of how similar the two are and how they sound exactly the same.
The fanfic is in French unfortunately so you might not be able to read it without a translator or knowing French, and it hasn't been updated in awhile. The fic is by @akuma74 who's on both Tumblr and wattpad.
Thinking up a tragic Genshin Impact x Twisted Wonderland crossover au that expands on the concept of Fae
Concept Below if you're interested, this also includes original characters!
Wip concept: Ramshackle, the dorm that attracts visitors from other worlds it seems, but this time is different. Five strange "teenagers" and a weird creature show up seemingly overnight in Ramshackle's common room, three boys and two girls, but these ones seem to have a unique archetype of magic that even the mirror can't read even if they performed it in front of it. They introduce themselves as Aether(and his "familiar" Paimon), Lohen, Jahoda, Linnea and...Hat Guy? That one quickly winds up with the nickname "Mister Cryptic", or just Tick, from Grimm tho, and boy does "Tick" hate it.
It takes weeks just to convince the headmaster and teachers to allow five new students(and one flying familiar) just to join Ramshackle, and everything seemingly is going WONDERFULLY, BEAUTIFULLY, except for the strange thing that both Aether and Linnea seem to get sick if visiting Diasomnia but that's being worked on...until the day they find Linnea passed out at the entrance to Diasomnia, after lots of time and effort searching though they find out it was Linnea's older sister Celeano that accidentally caused that reaction when Linnea touched her trying to confront her after catching her spying on Diasomnia for some reason.
It's eventually all dealt with from there, AND upon finding out Celeano is another of those "weird foreign Fae" like Linnea, Crowley is MUCH more willing to let Celeano join! But that all culminates to the fateful day, an event causing all house leaders to be present, and upon seeing none other than Malleus Draconia it gives Celeano the biggest panic attack of her life and making her pass out, upon waking up Celeano finally breaks down and confesses the truth to Linnea, that their mother has already changed universes and planets many times in her life and one of those universes is the future timeline of this universe, and that man, Malleus Draconia, is the father of them and their brothers, and his life is in danger because the eldest brother is also definitely here cause Celeano let him in and he wants their dad gone.
So far here's the crossover family:
Parents:
Malleus Draconia, Anya Belydon*
Children(in order):
Kunikuzushi(adopted), Celeano and Durin(twins), Linnea, Dvalin, Aino, Elyneas and Erineyes(twin ocs/named after Elynas and Erinnyes), Pahsiv(oc inspired by Pahsiv)
*Anya is my main oc/Genshin oc of this au, along with my TWST ocs Yuta, Yuuka, Yuri and Amanai, she's inspired by the Genshin character Anya Marie Andersdotter and is an Elysia EXPY OC
You can find out more about the crossover in my previous post, the link will be provided below 😘

A lamb with a life motto: "I'm the hottest bitch in the world!" From the amazing @melled42 😘🩷🎀
I think the ideal option would be a creature — ✨Aereis✨
Description of the creature: Handcrafted and born from fallens stars in the void, Aereis is a creature unlike any other. Aereis don't have a heart but rather a star-like core that rumbles with energy and bleeds out in gold. Aereis have a close-knit fundamentalist hierarchy, with the "Prophet" positioned on top of the others. It is rumored that "Prophets" posses the ability to allow their believed creator and god to speak through them. Aereises view most creatures as lesser beings.
