There's Cass's final cameo. It would have been nice to get a single line of dialogue from her, I understand her being marginalized in this comic was Didio's fault, not Bennett's. Still, it does feel weird that Japan colonizing China, Katana acting as a double agent, her and Cass meeting and uniting to take on imperialism from both sides, and rebuilding respective countries, was relegated to footnotes. Also is the dialogue implying they're in charge of all Japan and all China now? How did that happen?

Alas.

And there she is! Her single cameo! Honestly she is really cute though, I love that she gets little shorts that make her stand out from the others and show the progression to the sixties. Man it would have been such a simple thing to just have both her be one of the Batgirls from the beginning, she should have been in Harper's role. I'll never forgive you Didio! But at least I get this for her Steph AU's page I'm making on the wiki.

Bruce growing up to be a much more well-adjusted hero and Bombshells (especially Batwoman) fanboy is cool . But even if he's nice now... no, Bruce, leave Steph alone, she deserves to be free of you in one universe. At least Selina will be training her too.

And that's Bombshells! Obviously it wasn't perfect and I had some complaints, but it's l a really fun comic I highly rec. Just a great concept, so many queer characters (including trans rep with Alysia and Dinah!), such an interesting more international reinterpration of what DC's heroines can be and it did a lot of cool things.
