Young Justice season 3 + The Onion

I have many things to say and theories on this new episode (3×21)

1- Jace and Gretchen: there's an interesting relationship between these two, as they both seem to be willing to exploit Halo's power.

Jace wants the girl to cut any type of relationship that could prevent her from going towards certain death (maybe Jace wants to set up something to make it look like Violet died, when she didn't). Jace probably wants to make a weapon out of Halo.

Gretchen too understands that the power she desires resides within Halo, and that the girl is also able to reverse (and use?) the anti life equation which, as it's the mathematical demonstration that love destroys free will, seems like mind control to me.

2- The pit: when Dick, Jeff, Kaldur and Wynnde are trapped, it seems like their body is slowly dissolving. But we've already seen something like this when Wally disappeared. The Reach have been defeated, but as a technologically advanced society, they do resemble the New Gods. Could these things be linked?

3- Dick's nightmares: as Gar did when he had VR goggles on, Dick must be dreaming about his loved ones that passed away: we have his parents, Wally and Jason.

Maybe we'll get to see some bits of his nightmares, where his parents and Jason will be dying just like they did, as the scene unravels many times before Dick's eyes.

But with Wally, it may be different, as he is not dead (again, no body = no death proof). Maybe, the speedster will try to interact with Dick, hinting that he is still alive ("do the words 'conservation of mass' mean anything to you at all?" 3×12). Will Dick understand that?

What a Rollercoaster

Literally everything I expected to come out of YJ 3x22 “Antisocial Pathologies” happened. The Outsiders and Black Lightning found out the Justice League (or more importantly, Batman) had been manipulating them. Terra got deeper into her work with Deathstroke (with hints of a father-like mentorship?). Halo is now a bargaining chip that will likely lead to infighting between Darkseid’s minions and the Light. Dr. Jace is a LYING BITCH (no duh).

But most importantly, there are TWO GRANNIES.

WTF happens next?!

P.S. - I like that while the whole “Batman Inc getting exposed thing was talked about”, Oracle raised valid points for and against it.

PRO: Keeps Outsiders clean and legitimate

CON: Allows Batman to make everyone’s decisions for them

Crackiest of theories

Unless...

Okayokayokay- so, I read a theory that Brion was the Anti-Life Equation or smth and not Violet, presenting proof by showing how Jace’s main priority is Always Brion and his safety.

Reading it I had a brainwave-

We all remember when Violet sensed something broken in Brion, which he took offence to and we took great enjoyment in, anyway- what if what she was sending was what Jace was so desperate to protect?

The Equation or at least a segment of it.

Who knows what Jace might’ve done to Brion while he was under in Markovia, she might’ve planted something in him or came across something while observing his stats. Maybe the Markov’s GeoForce ability is tied to Darkseid?

Could she be (ugh I hate this word but I’m not using it in the creepy nasty context) grooming him (or attempting to, doesn’t seem to be working Jacey Jace)to play a larger role than we know.

Feel free to add on I’m near delirious with lethargy and having ADHD makes my brain make connections that seem ridiculous sometimes,,,, yay!!
