Daily Motivation
Just start.
Some helpful Tips
1. See a doctor before starting any new diet or exercise program.
2. Follow your diet plan and keep a food journal/tracker.
3. The first week is the hardest.
4. You should weight yourself before embarking on a diet just so you know how much you weight you need to lose. Don’t weight yourself every morning , noon and night. Watch your body and not your scale and you will notice a difference without worrying about the pounds. Weigh yourself once a week, make sure it is in the morning about ten minutes after you get up and before you drink anything and weight yourself naked.
5. Get a good night sleep.
6. Weigh and measure your food for a short period of time so you can actually see and know what a serving size looks like.
7. Learn control!
8. Make sure you are well fed by being well nourished. Eat smart! Eat healthy.
9. Drink WATER!
10. Don’t eat and watch TV, read, scroll through your phone, computer. Don’t answer emails and take phone calls while eating.
11. Serve your meals on attractive salad plates or small dinner plates. Set a pretty table. Sit down at the table and really enjoy your meals. No more food on the run and stay the hell away from fastfood places!
12. Try to develop your own little tricks to lessen your intake of certain foods. For example: the salad fork trick or chew your food longer.
13. Don’t eat after 8 o’clock at night.
14. Learn new chicken and fish recipes.
15. Try participating in Meatless Monday and try a new vegetarian recipe.
16. Ask your doctor about multivitamins and calcium supplements while you are dieting.
17. Avoid can products.
18. If you find you need extra nourishment while dieting during the day eat an apple, orange, a teaspoon of peanut butter.
19. Don’t salt your food.
20. There is no point to dieting if you are not going to exercise! Move those feet!
Stick to healthy eating during the work week. Then if you fall off on the weekends or splurge, it wont set you back much.
You can do this 🙂

Trying gummies from Eat Smart Sweets
I saw this at Target last night and decided to give it a try. I’m usually lazy putting salads together on my own since there’s more prep work involved, so this was nice to have everything ready together and it was really good! There were a couple other salad kits/flavors, too. The only downside is that there’s a lot of packaging, but at least some of it can be recycled.
