Anyways I started reading Youngblood by rweoutofthewoods and HOLYYYY genuinely possibly the best jegulus dynamic I’ve even read. Like the devotion regulus has toward James without even thinking abt it??? Like he doesn’t even realize and I’m over here like W O A H🤯

Also I have 2 chapters of 2 diff fics written that I need to edit before I post, and a Jegulily raising kids oneshot that’s ALMOST done, plus a jegulus edit that I have sequenced and just need to add the lyrics to, plus a freaking marty supreme edit that I’m cooking up PLUS I had a really good idea for an edit earlier but I’m gatekeeping it bc I don’t want someone to steal it if I don’t make it right away LOL but it is crimson rivers so GET HYPE

Oh god I need to get hype actually bc I told myself I would reread crimson rivers as soon as the semester was over THATS LIKE 2 AND A HALF WEEKS IM NOT EMOTIONALLY READY AHHH🥲

so random for me to ask u this but idek how one would google it,,, how would a person go about being a fanfic editor/beta? i'm not creative enough to write but I'm very analytical and (i'm pretty sure) skilled at finding subtle ways to improve most writing i read (not yours!! /srs)

Hmm I guess I would make a post like this and tag the pairings or fandoms you want! And this is a good start to describing what kind of editing work you're interested in. Some writers only want grammatical errors pointed out, some mostly want to be hyped up, and some want something more collaborative like this where you can give ideas to further enhance the fic

Btw you ARE creative enough to write. If you're blanking on ideas, consider taking requests, participating in challenges, or checking out writing prompt blogs like @creativepromptsforwriting @daily-prompts or prompt tags. If you wanna open up to requests you can specify what you're interested in (or if you have public fic recs / reblogs, that's a great way for people to see). You can start with blurbs, it doesn't have to be anything super long or detailed. Then you can use your analytical skills to build on it.

Maybe someone who is looking for a beta will see this and reach out.

genuine question when i post the edits for tafa... does anyone care abt losing the og?? like im a little sentimental about it even tho it makes me want to forget how to read, so would people want like. a read-only link to the doc? or something? would anyone care?? it feels kind of aggressive to wipe it from the internet forever when it was like. so popular for some reason. and my first ever teen wolf fic.
