The Queen's Destiny

Here’s a fun new meme comic! This one was inspired by a comment that Akumu_Oukoku put up on the ol' Discord the other day, where they wished to see the Pyrrha/Cinder destiny exchange brought back up in a climactic showdown with Weiss/Jaune about to die only for the other to come to the rescue and save the day.

I’m pretty happy with this one, especially that flashback panel. Drew Winter a sweater for her little sleep over and story time with Weiss, and I based that sweater off of the sweater TheWestphalianGwent gave to Weiss in his meme. It was a lot of fun editing that panel, giving Winter her smirk knowing Weiss is enamored with the Rusted Knight, shifted those eyes over for that side-eye, set the eyelids down to emphasize that smug look, drew up the book and some minimalist cover art of the best scene in the show, edited out Weiss sitting in her chair in the background as well as the reflection in the floor, replaced Weiss with her adoring Adrian version. It all turned out really good.

Some of you may have caught my early reference to my own Taking Out the Trash meme to start things off. Threw in the ol’ chibi Ghost Pyrrha, for those with a discerning eye. Added another reference to one of my own Therapist Ozpin memes, Cindere is always a good source of fun. Panel 5 reuses a really beautiful thinking Weiss asset that I used in my Culmination in a Kiss meme. And we cap things off with a Fist of the North Star reference. Honestly feels like I’m building up my own cinematic meme universe with all the references and the interconnected plots. I need to get around to my Agent Zwei continuation of that Taking Out the Trash meme, feels a little funny that I skipped forward past that one’s conclusion.

Moving on

Jaune looks at Pyrrhas ghost and sighs as he looked at the statue of her.

Jaune:Well. I guess this is it. Your home. And you can stay here.

Pyrrha:Yes. It’s been a long journey. And even longer for you... I just want you to do me a favor. Don’t say goodbye... I mean I did follow you all this way.

Jaune:You know.. I think I found out... what’s holding me back this time.. it was you Pyrrha.. all along... you made me.. when I came to beacon, you just came along for the ride. You gave me the idea that I can be a better huntsmen.

He looked at her and gave her a sad smile.

Jaune:You were so strong, that you were able to come on this journey... and teach me. Wether it’s through my scroll or here. But now I know what to do for once... so you can rest and I can move on. All I had to do was say 3 little words. Words that I couldn’t tell you before.

Pyrrha:... are you going to say I love you?

The ghost said smiling at Jaune but it went away when he wasn’t smiling back. He just stared at her large statue.

Jaune:No Pyrrha.... I’m not going to say I love you.... I’m going to say I forget you.... I forget you..

He waited for a response and looked at her statue. He didn’t receive any as he turned around and didn’t see Pyrrhas ghost anymore. He sighed and was emotionally tired.

Jaune:...I’m letting you go...

Cinder stealing the Maiden powers had spiritual consequences, and now she's haunted by all the previous Maidens ghosts, who try and drive her crazy by distracting her and messing with her life as much as possible. This includes Pyrrha, since she was connected to Amber for a small bit, who contributes by reading aloud cheesy romance stories she writes about herself and Jaune whenever she's trying to sleep. Cinder loses it, and no one else can see the Ghosts, so they stare at her in confusion.

Cinder: Gah! Shut up!

Mercury: What?

Cinder: I don’t care about your useless blonde!

Mercury: Hey I was with a brunette last night.

Cinder: Not you Mercury! The ghosts!

Mercury:….Riiiiight…. *backing away slowly*

Cinder: Grrr stop talking about that blonde idiot.

Pyrrha: It’s a shame really, I get my first kiss and I die.

Amber: That is a shame.

Pyrrha: Shame because I had been hoping after the festival to do things from my friend Blake’s novels.

Amber: Oh a little ninjas in the sheets action.

Pyrrha: Sheets, balcony, the roof above CRDL’s bedroom. I was so ready to just win the festival and have my Jaune.
