...and the story begins... 🎉🎉🎉 I'm celebrating 🎉🎉🎉 ❎ 6 months ago I spent 2.5 hours in a hospital receiving my bi-monthly IV dose of a non-working heavy medication for my #ibd chronic illness ❎ 6 months ago I was coping with my ongoing fatigue every day, hardly being able to move around and fulfill my basic daily rutine ❎ 6 months ago my mental heath was compromised; I was fearful, sad, anxious, depressed and vulnerable 🤎 What a difference 6 months make! 🤎 🌟 Now, I am managing my symptomps WITHOUT any conventional medicine for 6-months!! 🌟 Now, I am able to swim non-stop for 2.5 hours in a pool and achieve my goal distance of 5.2 km!! 🌟 Now, I am happy, balanced, calm and hopeful!! And this is just the beginning of my healing journey....but what an amazing result already, on such a short period of time!! ❤️ Do what you love ❤️ ❤️ Love what you do ❤️ That's it. That's all the secret. The rest will happen and fill in the gaps. I wish what we feel and what we know were more congruent. I wish healing was only ever comfortable. But you are worth the discomfort healing takes. There are days you will feel the brokenness like you feel the breeze, and there are days the warmth of the sun will rival the wind, the warmth of friendships, the warmth of solid beliefs that you are okay and will be just fine.
