INTJs and the disappearance of casual
I don't do casual friends.
Those 'friends' you only meet in group settings, that casual 'how have you been?' and a very casual meetup to chat about nonsensical things/your routine/whatever. Not happening right now.
It's different when we have something professional between us; let's talk about our major, let's talk about getting better in what we love. Still, it's very difficult to find someone that takes things as seriously as I do, even if they can be studying the same thing.
I'm not lying when I say I really have very few friends, I have only three. But the lovely thing is we can talk about everything; the good stuff, the bad stuff, the casual stuff, the philosophical stuff. They do it all.
Maybe I'm being picky.
Maybe I've given up.
Maybe I'm just uninterested.
But I don't do casual, and that's alright for now. It is, ultimately, a choice. Choose what you want and you'll be okay in life, relationships are not meant to be excruciating.
