Dc Wing AU

Hi!!! I have a wing au for dc (and marvel, and dp, and- you get the idea) and I have a few characters who I cannot figure out the wings for, so I thought I’d take the options and put it in a poll! Oh also for the bird type I’m trying to include symbolism as best as I can.

Freddy Freeman-

First up we have Freddy Freeman, a part of the Shazamily (who are my favorites).

The whole Shazamily is pigeons/doves because I think it’s cool and the symbolism of either one can apply to any of them. Doves are also associated with gods/holiness a lot so there’s that too-

Billy is an Inca Dove, Mary is a Pied Imperial Pigeon, Pedro is a Dwarf Fruit Dove, Eugene is a Rock Pigeon/Dove and Darla is a Diamond Dove.

For Freddy I have a few options that I can’t pick between.

First up is the Victoria Crowned Pigeon

Then the Nicobar Pigeon

The White-crowned Pigeon

And the Madagascan Blue Pigeon

All of them have their upsides and downsides, and I can find at least a few references for each of them (the one I was originally going to do had none)

Lieutenant Marvel - Young Justice

Freddy Freeman was part of the Team from 2012 to 2015. With one-third of the power of Shazam, he could become Lieutenant Marvel. Earth-16's Freddy first appeared in Young Justice: Targets #6 story "Yesterday's Children: Memory Six".

Since he's a version of Captain Marvel Jr., who's usually skinnier than Captain Marvel, I used a Superboy screencap from Young Justice 4x18 "Beyond the Grip of the Gods!" as a body/pose model. Like most of CMJ's iterations, his suit is blue. A red cloak would feel too much like Superman, so I think white is better.

I hope we can see his official design as Lieutenant in Young Justice 5 or new Earth-16 comics.

Young Justice facts people easily forget

1. That Jason Todd/Robin II, Tula/Aquagirl, Garth/Tempest And Donna Troy/Troia weren’t the only people to join the team during the timeskip, Mary Bromfield/Sergeant Marvel And Freddy Freeman/Lieutenant Marvel joined the team to.

2. as far as we know Mary and billy aren’t twins or even siblings in this universe since it’s just said on the WIKIA that they are good school friends

3. Young justice isn’t part of the DCAU(DC ANIMATED UNIVERSE)(seriously what don’t people get about that)

4. According to Greg Jason Todd And Dick Grayson Had a Close Relationship before Jason died.

5. I’m pretty sure in universe Dick and Bruce never had a falling out between seasons 1 and 2

6. DICK HAD A UNCLE NAMED RICK A AUNT NAMED KARLA AND A OLDER PATERNAL COUSIN NAMED JOHN(named after dicks father of course)

7. Out of all of the Graysons to perform their final act that night Nightwings uncle was the only one to survive.

8. In the comics based on the show Rick was implied to be in coma and possibly completely paralyzed.

9. Nightwings been said to be Caucasian

10. Bette Kane is 17 years younger then Bruce Wayne And a year or so older then Nightwing.

11. Nightwing is at least a month and at most a year older then Oracle

12. Stephanie Brown is two years younger then Tim Drake

Age: 11 (in 1974)

Bio: The second youngest of the Vasquez children, Fawcett City's resident Pong champion, a connoisseur of Bruce Lee movies, and easily the most foul-mouthed of the Marvel Family, Eugene Choi is frequently, along with Freddy, the instigator of fights, whether they needed to be fought or not. The most in tune with the Power of Zeus, his interactions with gods and demons often leave his opponents wondering if he might be a distant descendent of some demigod, or perhaps a homo magi. Eugene doesn't know, but he thinks it'd be cool if it was true.
