the date of the wedding is something that is significant to your relationship for sure, or at least close to it

it’s a medium-sized party and you really tried to instill some order by sending out invitations to specific people only! which is not to say that there’s no random attendees but oh well – it was to be expected…

he gets almost shy during the first dance because everyone is watching but his eyes are only on you; you get a kiss to the back of your hand after he spins you around. dreamy sigh. 🥰

FOR SURE Sam was the one who grew the flowers for your bouquet and it’s very significant flowers that represent specific messages 

in return for his thoughtful gesture, you make sure that there are surprise fireworks at some point – he would marry you all over again this instant

you definitely have a guest book in which your friends write you lovely messages of congratulations bc they love you so much and are happy for you; but of course there is one random inappropriate doodle (some very mysterious unnamed culprits)

your wedding favors to your guests are little baby plants!!!! that will grow into something big and commemorate your special day FOREVER

some aunty very pointedly asks something along the lines of ‘babies when’ and Sam is almost ready to throw hands at his own wedding against anyone invading your privacy

neither of you is sure how exactly you managed to pull it off, considering the friends you keep, but you thankfully manage to make it a very small very private affair. actually maybe even somewhere a bit outside of the Shire just in case to avoid endlessly nosey neighbors

just don’t ask how difficult it was to sneak your non-hobbit friends into this party as inconspicuously as possible

but everyone cooperates because they know it means a lot to the two of you to do it on your own terms even though many uncles will be deathly offended afterwards when the shire’s golden couple turns up at home with matching wedding bands?? and we were not invited?? well the Bagginses have always been odd anyway.

this lovely boy puts his whole heart and soul into his vows; you cry, he wipes your tears, it’s beyond sweet

when I say it was small and private it doesn’t mean boring!! it’s still beautifully decorated with a million flowers and the food and drinks are plenty and very good

as the night goes on, the dancing gets wilder and the shared gossip gets juicier 

however, your new husband (who is very much the nephew of one Bilbo Baggins) and you end up sneaking away and going on your honeymoon trip while the party still goes on

during the whole planning process, he’s certainly got some outlandish requests that you’re not really sure if they’re serious or not… “can we go down the aisle on real horses and not ponies” etc. but you do humor him as much as you can because you love him and his contagious joy

he definitely forgets to say something that he had planned to include in the vows and you laugh it off because obviously this is a wedding that includes lots of laughter

for sure a bit of cake ends up on your face or both your faces if you’re feeling mischievous 😋 EVERYONE saw that coming! well he just likes kissing you even more now mwahahaha

over the course of the night his waistcoat inexplicably vanishes never to be found again. there goes an important family item...

he wants the two of you to talk to everyone who turned up but then he decides he likes dancing with you more. preferably ON a table – it’s your party and you make the rules!

he is shameless at this point and he will sing you a song that is made just for you as you’re blushing furiously and smiling even bigger

at one point it starts raining and any logical person would move everything indoors but not you and the party just went from amazing to legendary. life is GOOD.

so you’re spinning in the rain carelessly with your favorite person and you’re in love and ecstatic and hey – where did the leftover cake disappear to?

the iconic 111th birthday party of one Bilbo Baggins looks like a snoozefest in comparison to whatever this event turns out to be

doesn’t matter who was actually invited, everyone turns up, especially the ones who know where to look for a proper party – an absolute feast, non-stop music, drinks in abundance, and a cake that is well taller than you

you know he was stressing more than he let on because he likes to plan things and the whole time he was very involved with choosing everything together with you 😘 it was very sweet

definitely the type to sneak multiple jokes into the vows. however, when he’s supposed to put the wedding band on your finger he gets unexpectedly jittery like WOAH this is for real!!

dips you as lowly as possible (showoff) to give you a kiss and you’re thissss 🤏🏼 close to just toppling over together

many speeches. many intoxicated speeches. cheers to everyone and everything! but DAMN he really likes to all but rhapsodize about you ok!!

sneaking away a hundred times for a quick makeout session behind a tree or behind the firework stash – keeping his hands off of you is not happening and you almost miss your own first dance, turning up when the song had already started, looking a bit disheveled and blushed

you cut the cake together yayyy (or maybe you just wanted to elegantly avoid allowing a semi-inebriated Merry to handle a large knife on his own. or maybe it was just cute.)

oh lord Pippin is chatting up one of your single neighbors

the party goes on until the morning but you and your menace of a husband definitely disappear again at one point and return later – what’s a proper wedding without someone starting a scandalous rumor? so of course you took it upon yourselves.

he wanted to have it as small as possible because he’s already way too much of a public figure so you attempted to have it as your little secret

just some closest friends knew when and where, but rumors travel fast (or some halflings couldn’t keep their mouth shut if their lives depended on it)

so yes you definitely did have a small private ceremony and like, an intimate dinner with your inner circle and you really thought you had miraculously pulled it off

…until most of the kingdom finds out and they’re like NOOO because they love both of you dearly and they would like to celebrate your union, and then basically you needed to make a holiday about it and have a city-wide celebration

during which Aragorn didn’t take at least one hand off of you the whole time, but he was still mostly content – you did get married on your own terms, and he still fulfilled the good-natured wishes of his people

even though he certainly would have enjoyed prolonging the very private honeymoon just a bit… 

but YAY GIANTTT CAKE for everyone

the way you were dressed and styled becomes the new fashionable look for weddings and everybody wants to try and emulate it

probably that celebration day becomes an annual thing, but thankfully it’s not your actual wedding anniversary so the two of you can still sneak away on the real day-of and do your own thing away from curious eyes

the most aesthetically pleasing awe-inspiring event that has happened in any of the elven realms in a very long time; the decorations and the food and the clothes and everything is just beyond gorgeous, there’s magic in the air

trust me Legolas was fretting about it a surprising amount, even more than you; but he wanted you to have a perfect day as much as he could personally make it happen. the venue is most certainly outside.

why do I headcanon that they have super elaborate ceremonies with tons of singing, reciting stuff, formalities, idk. like, it is an all day long thing (to elves that isn't very long after all) and sure it’s nice and important and all but what if you just want to kiss your husband?? omg and there is also probably some super intricate hair braiding that is very symbolic or something?

honestly at one point he considers just picking you up and running away but he will humor his father at least a bit and act proper and sit through the whole ordeal

some of your dearest non-elf guests almost take a nap at some point (it seems to be the damn unnamed culprits yet again...)

as soon as the obligatory part is done, he definitely sneaks you away for a smidge of alone time while the others socialize and stretch out after sitting and listening to elvish nonsense for a hundred hours

if you smear just a tiny bit of cake on his nose, the look on his face is priceless 😍

I think we’re all well aware of the fact that this needs to be at least a 3-day holiday; as much as this man wants you all to himself selfishly and he would just run away with you, elope, then disappear on a honeymoon, he loves his home and his people and he really wants to show you off a bit

whatever wish you have in terms of flowers, food, music, it is granted by your future husband – as far as the aesthetics go, he doesn’t have many preferences except making you as happy as possible

frodo sam merry pippin flower girls?? riNG BEARERS?? 😎

he does get tearful during the vow exchange and i know what you’re gonna ask HE DOES pick you up bridal style right after and then kisses you like that!!!!!! to the absolute joy and bewilderment of everybody present

the amount of toasts and speeches that you make in honor of each other or your beloved guests should be studied; especially when you get a bit of alcohol in your system and then the contents of the speeches become very interesting (mothers cover the ears of children etc.). also Faramir definitely gives an amazing speech 

this man doesn’t leave your side for a single second and he is just beaming (but also daydreaming of the honeymoon)

Legolas, unfamiliar with the concept of a bouquet toss, ends up catching it very competitively

when the guests retell those events in the future, they are mostly not even sure what happened and what was a fever dream; but it becomes one of those ‘you just had to be there’ legends

Being the light-footed Elf that he is, Legolas (dressed far too thinly compared to your thick winter clothes) would smoothly step across the deep snow around you, reciting old Elven wisdoms from times gone by. He’d notice your smile and quickly bend down to steal a kiss from you. “A snowflake had landed onto your face! I simply wanted to remove it,” he’d claim. It wasn’t even snowing – not that you’d complain…

Animal traces were perfectly visible in the freshly fallen snow. Aragorn could study tracks anywhere, anytime, no matter the weather or season. But today, the two of you simply strolled around the fields, talking about all the different kinds of footprints left in the snow. Aragorn would lean over to show you another track he has spotted, almost touching your cold cheek. It would take you a while to actually look at the snow instead of his soft eyes ♡

Despite the sunny skies, Boromir would constantly check with you to see if you were cold. He had offered you his red coat right when you had met, and he would pull it around your shoulders during the break the two of you took on a lonely rock. “Ghastly cold, isn’t it?” he’d ask, sniffing, his cheeks all rosy as he’d grin at you. “Your fingers must be freezing. Those gloves aren’t meant for wintertime, you know? May I?” With that, he’d offer to take your hands in his to warm them.

You knew that Hobbits could dance just about anywhere – but Frodo inviting you for a dance in the midst of the falling snow would still surprise you. After all, he is not only barefoot but also on his way to the market with you. Still, he’d take his time to romanticise the season with you. At first, he’d pull you in for an energetic jig, making you laugh so hard that your breath would crystallise in the fresh winter air. But soon, the two of you would simply hug and sway as snow silently fell around you ♡

Powder snow like this brings out great joy in Gandalf, almost like a child. On your winter walks with him, he’d use his staff to absentmindedly draw lines and symbols into the snow as he’d listen to you, or as he’d hum a winter travelling song from long ago. Gandalf also knows a few spells to surprise you, of course – like conjuring a gust of wind that makes the snow fly up and glitter, forming shapes, a snow rabbit here, a dragon there – not unlike his fireworks!

At your little bonfire, Gimli would curse under his breath when snow started falling. “We could be in front of a festive fireplace in the mines, with a banquet and music – but no…!” He’d pull his coat firmer around himself and grumble a bit as snowflakes landed in his red hair. At first, he’d decline your offer to shuffle closer and cuddle for warmth, but soon, the grumpy Dwarf finds the cosiness in sitting so close to you.

In his childhood, Merry had once won a snow sculpture contest, a memory that he cherished a lot. That is why your offer to build things out of snow conjured the brightest smile into his face. At first, he’d be a bit fussy about your technique and unsolicitedly teach you the right way to work this special building material. But after a while, fun won the upper hand, and the two of you would build snowmen and castles like champions!

Scarf already in his hands, Pippin would be all excited after waking up to the first snow. He’d hurry you outside and entangle you in a snowball fight that somehow got bigger than he anticipated – the Shire is a small place, after all. Good thing Pippin’s little sledge can get you out of trouble fast, at least downhill! By midday, the two of you would be so exhausted that you’d spend the rest of the day dozing in the kitchen with some hot chocolates and berries: “Best day ever!” as Pippin would say ♡

Taking huge steps through the snow, Sam would go on and on about how much he dislikes it. “It looks kind of pretty, but that’s it, in my humble opinion. But I’ll make us a nice pot of tea, and we can eat the rest of the biscuits – and sit by the fire and look outside. Snow is always prettier to look at from a warm chair inside. What? ✧ Being Lord Elrond's ward has long made him accept that he shouldn't avoid being cared for if it's needed, and as a healer himself he tries to imagine the situation if you were injured.

✧ That he would want to be by your side every second in order to take care of you if you were hurt.

✧ So it's only fair that he doesn't protest too much when you take care of him.

✧ Considering this, he's still never been cared for like this. The love that changes his bandages being romantic and intimate instead of something else.

✧ He actually leans into your touch, and usually doesn't care to draw back even if he's realised what he's doing.

✧ Enjoys persuading you to cuddle him under the guise that he's injured and can't move.

✧ Asking for a kiss when you come into the room he's resting in, a smile on his face as you let out an affectionate sigh before going to his side.

✧ Still tries to do a lot of the wound-tending himself, but will generally stop if you scold him.

✧ He's been injured and alone enough to not really need help with many basic functions that you might try to help him with, so although he appreciates the help he generally waves it off.

𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐬

✧ The way you're almost immediately by his side, saying you'll help with the injury, is a huge relief to him.

✧ Legolas has rarely had to cope with being injured before, and even if he knows it's only for a few days he dislikes how vulnerable he feels.

✧ At the very start he doesn't even enjoy sharing that vulnerability with you, his answers being somewhat short when you try to figure out what's wrong. A little more withdrawn.

✧ And then you keep coming back to him.

✧ Keep being patient and loving. And he realises that - in the same way it would apply to you - you aren't thinking any less of him just because he's been injured.

✧ That you still love him, and taking care of him is showing that love.

✧ He still blushes a little when he needs help holding something, or struggles at a more simple task, but he feels a lot more comfortable.

✧ Legolas also keeps forgetting that he needs to stay put and minimise movement to heal quickly.

✧ Cuddling up with him is a fairly reliable way to solve this (and one he is very thankful to have).

✧ Definitely fights against it at first. Once he's seen the healer and had his wound bandaged he doesn't need to be fussed over any more.

✧ The next time you come to see him, a bowl of soup in your hands, he apologises before you can say anything to him. Then gruffly expresses his thanks.

✧ Gimli still isn't overly happy at the treatment, but the annoyance that remains is due to the injury and the pain rather than yourself.

✧ Asks for your company a lot as well - if not to tend him then simply to talk and take his mind off the pain.

✧ Boromir is… Boromir is the worst patient of the Fellowship.

✧ It's not based on a specific thought to misbehave, he just dislikes sitting still. Allowing you to do everything for him.

✧ The feeling of helplessness while you're caring for him.

✧ It can make him a little snappy, although the moment the words come out of his mouth he regrets them.

✧ The less injured arm gently holds your hand, and as you move closer he murmurs that he's sorry. That he is grateful to you, very much so.

✧ Especially because you're putting up with him when he's injured and being very unhelpful.

✧ Doesn't entirely trust himself with speech after he's snapped, so after apologising Boromir will wait until your close enough to kiss you.

✧ There's generally a semi-rehearsed thank you at the end of each day.

✧ Although it tends to go off track with him just starting to list why he loves you and why he's lucky to have you.

✧ Overall, he appreciates your care but deals with it far better when you both pretend there's not much wrong, and let him handle as much as he can.

✧ At first Pippin adores you treating him like this because it's rather novel.

✧ You helping him like this? Being remarkably patient with him, holding a spoon to his mouth when his own hands feel a little too weak to be a safe bet?

✧ Still can't supress a grin as you come over to him.

✧ And he realises it's because of what your action represents.

✧ The little worry he has sometimes (what if he's too annoying? what if something happens to him and all he can contribute is a half funny jest?) you have answered. You've suppressed.

✧ Because here he is, injured and unhelpful, and you're still loving him regardless.

✧ When the realisation finally hits him and you come over with a bowl of stew he instantly tries to hug you.

✧ Doesn't explain what's happened, but feels very content in your arms.

𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲

✧ Again, being actually injured is a very odd feeling to him.

✧ The thing Merry hates the most is the restlessness and that he can't actually do anything.

✧ So it brightens his day immensely when you come over to check on his bandages and if he's holding up alright with the wound.

✧ Thankfully, he is, but it also makes your visit shorter. You're just sitting up when he can't help himself.

✧ "Wait! Can you… stay with me for a while? I know Strider said that I need rest and peace, but my own mind isn't giving me that when I'm on my own so can you?"

✧ "Of course." You feel a bit bad for not noticing earlier, although Merry immediately beams when you sit down beside him.

✧ Now he has someone to talk to, to tell the funny jokes too who isn't Pippin, and someone who certainly cares.

✧ There's a light amount of blush of Merry's face whenever you do help him eat, although he tries to play it off by making jokes or trying to get your cheeks to warm up more than his.

✧ Always thanks you every time - and promises that (if it happens) he'll do the same for you.

𝐒𝐚𝐦

✧ When you bring food over there's already a slight flush on his cheeks, a smile on his face about the fact you've thought of him.

✧ As the food cools from piping hot to only warm in his lap he talks with you, only half a mind as to how he'll be able to eat when he feels so rotten.

✧ (Even if some of the rot seems to go away when you arrive.)

✧ Then, you take the spoon and intend to help him.

✧ The light blush goes into a deep crimson flush as he realises what you're doing - and he tries to tactfully turn your offer down.

✧ That he truly appreciates it, but he'll be okay. He doesn't need help on an issue like this.

✧ "You'd do the same for me, wouldn't you?"

✧ The question you pose makes him pause. Because it's true. Because he'd go far beyond this if you needed help - if you only asked.

✧ Because he loves you, and he loves you deeply.

✧ And so the same thing should extend towards himself.

✧ The blush hasn't died down much when he works up the courage to answer, although there's a shy smile on his face that wasn't there before.

✧ "Of course I would."

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐨

✧ He enjoys being taken care of, but especially enjoys how you're taking care of him.

✧ That it isn't impersonal, or there's a sense of duty and responsibility in taking care of him like some of the Fellowship brings.

✧ When you help him, he can so clearly feel that it's coming from a place of love.

✧ It helps him be a lot more vulnerable as well - more easily admitting that something's bothering.

✧ There's far less pressure that he'll let you down (and he also can't bring himself to lie to you when you ask him how he feels).

✧ A decent chunk of the healing Frodo most benefits from is simply sitting with you and spending time in your company.

✧ Allowing himself to be ill because he knows you'll love him either way.

Aragorn;

Rain clung to both of you like a second skin as you stumbled into shelter, dripping and breathless. His hands cradled your face as water slid down your cheeks, his own hair plastered to his forehead. There was no hesitation, only the ache of relief and raw affection as his lips met yours, warm despite the cold, wet from the rain and the sheer urgency between you.

Arwen;

She moved closer with a serenity that felt otherworldly, brushing your cheeks with featherlight kisses, one after another like scattered petals. Her smile grew softer as she peppered your forehead, nose, and jaw with affection, every touch stealing your breath a little more. Then, with a stillness like moonlight, she found your lips with hers - soft and certain - as if she'd been waiting lifetimes for that moment.

Boromir;

It had been so long since you had last seen Boromir. But after a month of letters back and forth, you saw him across the misty field. Before you could even stop yourself, you threw your arms around his neck with abandon, catching him mid-step. His breath hitched before he crushed you against him, one strong hand at your back as your lips met in a kiss so fierce, so desperate, it left you both stunned, clinging tighter than ever.

Elrond:

There was silence in the library. You were admiring the world outside the window as Elrond joined you, abandoning his book. He stepped close enough for your breaths to mingle, his gaze never leaving yours. The air between you crackled as you closed the distance, your hands drawn to his robes like ivy to stone. Though no words left your lips, the thought rang through you like a bell - kiss me. You didn’t even need to ask. He leaned in, brushing his mouth over yours with purpose, before fully pressing his lips against yours.

Éowyn;

The moment crackled like firelight, full of longing. Her fingers tangled in your hair, desperate and unafraid, pulling you down to her. When your lips met, it was less a kiss and more a declaration of survival, of want, of a love that refused to be soft or silent.

Éomer;

It started shy - a hesitant brush of lips that could’ve been mistaken for an accident if not for the fire in his eyes. But then, as if the dam had broken, he caught your face in his hands and kissed you again, this time deeper, rougher, as if he realized he couldn’t bear another second without the taste of you. The softness was gone, replaced with something far more consuming.

Faramir;

You had been tracing the curve of his mouth absentmindedly, fingertips featherlight and slow. He barely breathed under your touch, watching you like a man spellbound. When his hand came up to cup your chin, the hesitation vanished. He tilted your face toward him and kissed you softly and reverently.

Frodo;

It started as a slow build, your hands intertwined and your foreheads resting together after a slow dance in the Shire. But when your lips finally met, it stole the breath from your lungs. There was nothing tentative in it - only the depth of emotion, the weight of everything unspoken. Even when the kiss ended, neither of you could open your eyes, as if you were trying to hold onto the feeling just a second longer.

Gimli;

You leaned against the cold stone of the stairwell, one step higher than him, the height difference making him scowl in that endearing way. He grumbled something about “even footing,” but it didn’t matter - his hands found your waist, making you take a few steps down as he took a few steps up, the artificial height difference almost equal as your fingers carded through his beard, and his lips met yours in a kiss that was earthy, solid, and utterly unforgettable.

Haldir;

There was no sound but the wind through the leaves as you both stared, unmoving. His gaze flicked to your lips and back again, and it was like gravity shifted. You leaned in without thinking, barely aware that he was doing the same. When your mouths finally met, it felt inevitable.

Legolas;

He kissed you like poetry, slow and rich with meaning, each movement filled with care. And when he finally pulled back, his lips hovered near yours, still sharing the same breath. He whispered something soft in Elvish you couldn't understand, but the way he looked at you said everything: that he was yours, utterly and forever, and that this was only the beginning.

Merry;

It started as a dare between laughs, something silly and impulsive - but it didn’t stop. One kiss melted into another, and before long you were still locked together, still breathing each other in. His hands gripped your waist as your lips moved slowly, endlessly, until you both forgot where you ended and the other began.

Pippin;

He threw his arms around you in a hug so tight it almost knocked you off balance. The kiss came as part of the whirlwind - sloppy, sweet, and honest. It took your breath away, not because of perfection, but because it was so utterly him: impulsive, golden-hearted, and full of joy you didn’t know you needed until that very moment.

Sam;

The kiss was soft but growing - your hands in his hair, his trembling fingers tracing your waist. The moment held promise, deep and hungry with something more, until the rustling of branches and a familiar voice startled you both. You pulled apart, breathless and flushed, hearts still tangled as your eyes darted to see Frodo, wishing for just one more second.

I really love your headcannons! Thanks for them! what do you think it's like to cuddle with a fellowship and how tactile they are in general, I would be grateful if it was in a romantic way, but if it's not difficult (if possible, then Gandalf should be too)

Cuddling with the fellowship

Aragorn:

-He often has his hands on you in some way

-Either in your shoulder, waist, back, or holding your hand

-But he isn’t the biggest cuddler despite being a touchy guy

-I think he worries he won’t be able to get up fast enough to protect you

-However he does sleep best when you are wrapped up in his arms

-He likes to lay his head in your lap

-Or with your head on his chest

-He subconsciously gives little massages while cuddling

-Does the thumb rub thing

Legolas:

-Once he figures out cuddling and physical affection he will always initiate it

-He will always come up and hug you from behind

-He finds comfort in it that he didn’t expect since elves aren’t really physically affectionate

-He likes to be big spoon and will hold your hand while you are wrapped safely in his arms

-He burrows his face into your hair or between your shoulder blades

-Sometimes he so close that he snores because his nose is pressed against your back (listen Ik elves don’t really sleep or whatever but let me have this)

-He will give you top of the head kisses randomly while you lay on his chest

-Just in general he does this; walking past you, you get a head kiss

-Pippin asks for one too; he says he feels left out

Gimli:

-Big time cuddler

-Dwarves are pretty big on physical touch

-Maybe cuddling isn’t necessary seen as platonic to dwarves; but wanting to be close in general can be

-However with a significant other this man is the biggest teddy bear

-He likes to face you when cuddling so he can see your pretty face

-Your very own personal heater/fur blanket

-Side note but maybe this is why Legolas likes him so much. I mean Legolas is kinda cat like and cats gravitate towards the warmest people to lay on

-Anyway

-He gets “grumpy” if you won’t cuddle with him

-Will pout until you give in despite being absolutely covered in dirt and you wanted to shower first

Boromir:

-He’s a little awkward about physical touch at first

-He’s a bit touch starved

-I can’t help but picture him as Arthur from the show Merlin in this scene

-It’s not so much that he doesn’t understand gentle physical touch; he is a gentle man; but he doesn’t experience it much so it’s a little foreign to him

-But once he is comfortable with you he will branch out and try initiating cuddles

-Will copy the way you initiate cuddles or any physical touch

-This man is lovely to cuddle btw

-You always feel very safe with him and he makes for a good pillow

-I headcanon that he has great tits; perfect chest to bury your face in

-He also talks a lot while cuddling; like he is just so happy to be with you that his giddiness comes out in random rambles

Frodo:

-He’s a nuzzler

-He does the little head rub on whatever he is using as a pillow when he first settles down

-Kinda like a dog spinning in circles before laying down

-If you fall asleep cuddled up just know that you will not wake up that way

-Someone is on the floor or you’ve swapped sides of the bed

-It looks like you guys were catapulted into the bed and that’s just how you landed

-Nose kisses

Sam:

-He loves to have “cuddle talks”

-Telling you about his day while you fiddle with his hair

-He’s a very intimate cuddler; likes to look into your eyes and profess his love as if it’s the first time even though he just did it yesterday too

-Not big on PDA though

-Cuddles are personal and private

-He’s not embarrassed or anything; it just feels like something too intimate for public eyes

Merry:

-He likes cuddling but in moderation

-I imagine he could get a bit claustrophobic

-Not that he doesn’t enjoy your cuddles; he just gets overwhelmed with smothering ones sometimes

-Doesn’t like being little spoon for this reason (same tho)

-I think one of his favorite positions to cuddle is with one of you sitting with your back against the others chest

-He does not care if he can’t see past you, he’s your backrest and he takes that job very seriously

Pippin:

-The biggest cuddle bug

-He is always touching someone; bumping shoulders, invading personal space, etc

-He finds comfort in being close to others and he’s not afraid to let it be known

-Spontaneous cuddle attacks

-Lots of giggles and nose boops

-If you are in bed he will “Dutch oven” you

-Gross ik

-However when his energy is worn for the day and he has gotten his playful cuddles out of the way he is the perfect teddy bear

-I mean seriously hobbits are the perfect little spoon size

-In those moments he does just enjoy the quiet and listening to your breathing as you fall asleep

Gandalf:

-Not big on cuddling

-More of the type to sit/lay where you are touching in some way but not engulfed with each other

-Maybe sitting across from eachother with your legs intertwined

-He does give the best hugs though
