Cold ass take but had Tsunade not spent 30 years grieving and instead spent it grinding she would clear the Naruto verse. 8 gates is a perfect compliment to her fighting style and had she mastered it she could use it without drawbacks. oh her leg broke, she’s near death having reached her limit? no problem she uses 100 healing jutsu and is ready for round 2. this is why i think sakura still has the most potential for growth and could easily pass Naruto and Sasuke. You give her 8 gates and she’s SWEEPING Madara
Karin knew of Naruto’s existence all the way back in Chunin Exam… like this guy is yelling out his name every 2.7 seconds + his large chakra pool (which is native to an Uzumaki).. she would notice immediately
AND I HAVE PROOF!!!
Here in this panel, Karin is explaining what a Jinchuriki and tailed beast is
The English translation is pretty self explanatory
But in the Japanese translation it is
“あれだろ!きゅび なか 九尾の仲間みたいな はもんで尾に生えた かたまりチャクラの塊が”
When you translate, it says
“It’s that thing, right? Like your Nine-Tails’ companion… A mass of chakra that grew from the tail(ed beast) became materialized”
Here she refers to Naruto as Sasuke’s nine tail companion, note it’s not a sarcastic usage of companion or friend.
So you’re asking yourself, “how does this prove your theory?”
Well, Sasuke met Kurama for the first time in part 2, just a mere couple chapters ago. Note that he never knew about the 9 tails, only that Naruto had mysterious powers.
So with this in mind, three questions come up.
1. How does Karin even know about Naruto
2. How does Karin know Sasuke and Naruto are friends
3. How does Karin know Naruto has the nine tails
With question 1, the first on screen moment they met and shared was when Naruto was chasing them
Sasuke doesn’t explain to Team Taka anything regarding the person they just came across except that the person was named Naruto.
So how would she know about the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke? And just by this meeting alone, how did she know he had Kurama?
All the questions could be answered if she had met or seen Naruto in the Chunin exams. Or really if Sasuke had an offscreen moment and just explained everything to team taka… which i highly doubt
random Naruto theory: Hidan is a sage and Jashin is just the head summon
What do we know about being a sage?
You have to be attuned to nature
You have to be taught by the current head sage of a summon clan, who are usually just actually magic
You have to stand completely still to gather sage energy
When you do manage to use sage enegy, you get wierd esoteric powers and also get a bit fucked up in the face if you do it wrong. jiraiya got all warty while Naruto and minato just started glowing and got some markings on their face
Now let's look at Hidan
While being immortal might not be the most natural thing, death is. It is literally the most natural thing in the world to die, so I could definitely see sage powers giving you powers involving death
The sages are sometimes chill, but the white snake sage regularly ate petitioners or just let her followers eat them if they failed. I could totally see one demanding regular worship and the philosophy of their clan being treated as a religion
Hidan not only has to generally stay in one spot to conduct his ritual, but he also usually stays in the circle for a long time afterwards for prayer
Hidan's markings could totally be like the between point for an imperfect sage like jiraiya and a perfect sage like naruto
As for what type of sage he is, he drinks blood and uses his ritual to stay immortal, so in a way drinking blood keeps him alive, so I'm gonna say leech sage, or maybe vampire bat
I choose to believe that Jashin in fact does NOT exist and it's creation has a deeper and fucked up meaning. Hidan went through religious trauma/psychosis and I will DIE ON THAT HILL. There's probably some weird cult that started on Hidan's (possible) clan of being immortal and someone called Jashin took advantage of that. That's it, thank you for coming to my Ted talk
My beloved "Jiraiya was Itachi's espionage handler" fan theory/head canon continued, hear me out:
He never genjutsu'd this woman to seduce and distract Jiraiya, but to act as his 911 pager to Jiraiya and then fall asleep and forget all about it. Because why WAS she even sleeping? Sleep memory wipes are a common theme in fiction. Wipe her memory of what? Someone who looks like she might be a sex worker, seducing a pervert in a pleasure district? Not exactly something Itachi would consider worth his chakra/eyesight. "Itachi Uchiha needs you at the inn" on the other hand...
The timing of his arrival was perfect. The half-assed hostilities he exchanged with Itachi while the latter was SPOON-FEEDING him his mission, was almost hysterical. And Jiraiya's reasoning for letting Sasuke "fight" Itachi? Absolute BS. Even Jiraiya wouldn't just let the last "good" Uchiha fight an actually evil Itachi and get himself killed. Had Itachi actually been evil, Jiraiya would never have had a chance to step in and save Sasuke. He trusted Itachi not to overdo it (the Tsukuyomi was overkill though, WTF babygirl). And that lame oesophagus summon? Was that really the best the legendary Jiraiya could do about Itachi and Kisame? He didn't even try to chase them and his explanation for that was BS, too. "Nobody ever escaped this" okay, this isn't just anybody, it's ITACHI FLIPPIN' UCHIHA. Jiraiya wanted him to bail.
It's also funny how much she looks like Itachi. As if he'd picked her so Jiraiya immediately knows who sent her. Getting ungodly thoughts here, so anyway, what do you think about this?
I think one of the reasons why Sakura initially disliked Naruto is because she thought he was bullying her.
In a previous post, I talked about Sakura’s early dislike of Naruto and when her feelings began to change. But one panel in particular made me wonder if Sakura actually believed Naruto was bullying her.
You can read the full thing here:
💬 0 🔁 1 ❤️ 14 · Question: What was the reason for Sakura's initial dislike towards Naruto? How did her feelings towards him change over ti
The panel in question:
When Sakura explains why she disliked Naruto, she pauses, looks hesitant and even a bit sad before giving her answer. That detail made me theorise that she might have misunderstood Naruto’s behaviour as bullying.
Her expression really stood out. Sakura looks down, pauses, and then says Naruto does not want to make her happy and instead enjoys tormenting her. The fact that she hesitated before saying this suggests that it was not easy for her to admit. It almost feels like she is recalling something painful, which could tie into her past with bullying.
We know Sakura was previously bullied for her forehead, and that experience left her timid, shy, and insecure. She was clearly traumatised by it. The constant insults and belittling shaped her personality. So when Naruto came along, being loud, disruptive, and insensitive even if unintentionally, it is not surprising that she might have seen his behaviour through the same lens as her bullies.
Naruto loved pulling pranks and messing about, and while to him it was harmless fun, to someone like Sakura who had already been a victim of mockery, it could have felt like targeted bullying. Bullies often use pranks to humiliate their victims, so Sakura may have associated Naruto’s antics with that same cruel pattern. Since they were not close at the time, she probably assumed the worst about his intentions, especially because Naruto already had a negative reputation in the village.
There is also the possibility that Naruto might have unintentionally made comments about her insecurities. For example, when he disguised himself as Sasuke and complimented her forehead, it played out positively because he phrased it kindly and she thought it came from Sasuke. But if Naruto had ever pointed out her forehead in a less sensitive way, she would have taken it as another insult. Since that was the very thing she got bullied for, it could easily explain why she saw him as someone who “enjoyed tormenting her.”
Why this theory is less likely:
It is also fair to say that this theory might not hold up. The manga never directly shows Naruto bullying Sakura, and his pranks were mostly general mischief rather than being aimed at her specifically. Most of Sakura’s dislike was shown to be about Naruto being loud, disruptive, and constantly seeking attention, which clashed with her personality and her focus on Sasuke. So it could just be that her dislike was simple annoyance rather than any deeper connection to her bullying trauma.
What still supports it:
That said, Sakura’s hesitation and sad expression in that panel do leave room for interpretation. Kishimoto could have just been drawing her seriously, but the way she pauses before answering makes it feel like there is more weight behind her words. Since Sakura was bullied, it is not impossible that her past experiences influenced how she saw Naruto. Even if Naruto did not mean it that way, she could have misread him as being similar to the people who hurt her before.
This is just a headcanon or theory based on one panel. It is not canon and not meant as a full analysis. You are completely free to disagree with it, see it as a stretch, or even argue the opposite. I just think it is an interesting possibility to consider when looking at Sakura’s early relationship with Naruto.
Why Karui could be an Uzumaki in Naruto, explored:

Naruto: Exploring Karui as a potential member of the Uzumaki clan
Disclaimer: Any opinions expressed in this article solely belong to the author.
Karui from Naruto is the wife of Choji Akimichi and a character to whom fans tend to not pay much attention. This could be due to her origins from the Hidden Cloud Village and not having that much of a significant jutsu technique which could intrigue fans about her.
But there is one characteristic about her that could be more than just intriguing and could tie her to one of the most powerful clans of the Hidden Leaf Village, her crimson red hair. This makes sense considering how her origins haven't been revealed yet and this could make her one of the descendants of the Uzumaki clan who are known for their crimson hair.
Karui was a kunoichi of Team Samui of the Hidden Cloud Village that worked directly under the Fourth Raikage. Omoi and Samui were part of her team. During the Five Kage Summit, the kunoichi assaulted Naruto in hopes of getting some information out of him regarding Sasuke Uchiha and his hideout.
However, the protagonist remained steadfast and wanted to solve everything through negotiation. Later on, she took part in the Fourth Great Ninja War and was caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. After the protagonist and Sasuke defeated Kaguya Otsutsuki, the kunoichi was released alongside the other people who were trapped inside the ultimate genjutsu.
After the war, there was a Blank Period before the Boruto series started which was explored through the light novels, Sasuke Shinden and Sakura Hiden. This revealed that Choji was interested in the kunoichi from their very first meeting and visited her in the Hidden Cloud Village frequently.
As the new era started, Karui emigrated to the Hidden Leaf Village, joined the Akimichi clan, and married Choji. She also had a daughter, Chocho Akimichi, who was a part of the new generation of InoShikaCho. The only thing about the kunoichi that intrigued fans is her crimson red hair, which is the trademark of the Uzumaki clan members.
Her origins are unknown as she was just introduced as a part of the Hidden Cloud Village. Moreover, the Hidden Cloud Village is known for stealing bloodline abilities, just like how they tried to steal the Byakugan.
So, one of Karui's parents could be a Uzumaki member whom the Hidden Cloud Village stole from the Hidden Leaf Village. This could make her a member of the same lineage as the protagonist.
This theory is a mere piece of speculation as it was constructed from a plothole that was left behind by the author, Masashi Kishimoto. Yes, crimson red hair is the characteristic of the Uzumaki clan but they have some more prominent characteristics.
The Uzumaki clan members, like Kushina Uzumaki and Mito Uzumaki, had exceptional sealing jutsu capabilities and immense reserves of chakra. Karui, on the other hand, didn't do any such thing as she used lightning chakra. But there could still be a chance of her not showcasing such abilities in the anime/manga so take this article with a huge grain of salt.
Hey. Theory. kekkei genkai could just be emergent hereditary chakra quirks, from people's bodies reacting to their imprisonment in the world tree weird. They don't seem to exist at all before kaguya cause no one can shape chakra yet, but they develop pretty quickly after kaguya's locked away, as far as genetics go. at least, it doesn't SEEM like it's been THOUSANDS of years. more like a handful of centuries. though this is all obivously horseshoes and hand-grenades
