I sit on the veranda and gaze blankly up at the sky.
White clouds float leisurely across the blue sky that fills my entire field of vision…
Looking at it like this, this world seemed almost exactly like Earth.
—A refreshing breeze brushes against my cheek,
an afternoon so pleasant I almost drift off to sleep.
Suddenly, his words crossed my mind.
??? “Remember. Don’t you have a place to go back to?”

Itome: “Princess♪ What are you thinking about~?”
As I was lost in thought, I was embraced by a pair of strong arms reaching out from behind me.
Even though I’ve gotten used to it, every time I’m enveloped by his scent, I feel like I’m going to melt away in bliss…
Itome: “…Are you getting sleepy?”
You: “Yeah… a little…”
Itome gently placed a finger on my chin, tilting my face toward him, and a tender kiss landed on my lips.
Itome: “We really got carried away yesterday, didn’t we…? 💜 Are you tired? Should I give you a massage or something~?”
Itome smiled gently and kissed me again, making a soft sound.
You: “Mmm… No, that’s not it. I was just remembering…”
Itome: “What?”
You: “…I don’t know. I- wonder what… ah...Mmm…”
As we continued to kiss, my thoughts grew increasingly hazy, and I became completely absorbed in his kisses.
I found myself craving him more and more, and before I knew it, I was clinging to him and running my tongue over his lips.
… When did I start drowning in him like this?

By the time he was gently nibbling on my tongue and our kiss turned into a fierce, almost biting one, my thoughts had completely stopped.

Itome narrowed her eyes seductively and smiled faintly.
Itome: “If you don’t know, doesn’t that mean it wasn’t a big deal?”
You: “Maybe you’re right…”
Itome: “You can forget about it. There’s no point in worrying over it.
So, how about we play together to take your mind off things? ♪”
I nodded at his words, and he picked me up right then and there, heading straight for the alcove.
Setting me down, he smiled with an innocent, affectionate grin,
and with a “Ta-da! ♪” he opened the sliding door.
You: “Wow!!!”
The floor was covered with a vast array of toys.
Nostalgic game consoles, a pretend-play set, party supplies.
Those toys were
all things I’d played with since I was little.
At his unexpected surprise,
I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me, and a smile naturally spread across my face.
Itome: "I brought some things from Earth that I thought you’d like♪
How about it? You won’t get bored, right?"
You: “Yeah…! These are all things I used to love…! Itome, thank you…!”
When I looked closer, I saw a game console with a familiar sticker on it.
This… is the one I traded with a friend to get.
It’s a slow-life simulation game where you build your own island and interact with animals.
I loved this game so much that my friend and I used to trade stickers of our favorite animals.
…Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve played it much lately.
Itome: “Want to play this?”
You: “…Nah. Maybe I'll try something else.”
When I shook my head, he picked up a deck of cards and grinned.
Itome: "Well then, let's go with the classic Old Maid♪
Just playing for fun feels a bit boring… so how about we make it a bet?
If I win, I'll take you all to myself 💜"
You: “Hehe, I’ll take you up on that! I’m actually pretty good at this!”
Itome: “Hmm? Even if my opponent is a cute girl like you, I’m not going to go easy on you, you know?”
He winked and shuffled the cards with practiced ease.
Then, as we dealt out our hands, he asked me.
Itome: “Princess. If you win, what do you want? What do you wish for…?”
What I… want to do…?
You: “I…”

You: “Hmm…”
Itome: “Come on, it’s your turn♪ Or are you giving up?”
As the game neared its end, I was completely out of options.
In this match where I was bound to lose no matter what I did, Itome peered at my face with a smirk.
You: “…Oh, come on!! Itome, you cheated, didn’t you~~!!”
Itome: “Not at all~. It just means I’m genuinely ‘good’ at everything. Haha♪
Oh well, princess, you’re such a letdown. What happened to all that bravado from earlier? Hmm?”
You: “Ugh! You’re so mean!! I’m going to do this to all of them!!”
In a last-ditch effort, I scatter my discarded cards like a child.
Itome: “Ahaha!! That’s great💜 You’re a princess who just won’t admit defeat, aren’t you?”
The cards dance through the air, and the entire game up to this point is thrown into chaos… For some reason, I felt a sense of relief, and I couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
I felt a strange sense of liberation, as if I were throwing everything away.
I casually catch one of the cards falling right in front of me.
…A card with the Joker on it.
As I’m distracted by it,
he suddenly leans in and covers me.
Itome: “You lo-ose💜”
You: “Ahaha! I guess I just can’t beat Itome after all…!”
Both of us laughed.
Ah, he always makes me laugh…
He can be a bit mean sometimes…
There are times when I don’t know what he’s thinking, and I still don’t know him very well…
Even so, I love him.
I couldn’t… live without him…
“Well then, just as promised, I’m going to eat every last bit of you, princess 💜”
No sooner had he said that than he brought his mouth close to my clothes, biting down on the fabric as he slowly pulled them up.
