it's not that i want to be fetishized, i just don't want my gender to be completely a 'uh that's ok' topic in my romance and or sex life. Like call me your cute little TRANSformer. encourage me to wear something when I've mentioned in the past how a particular way of dressing makes me feel euphoric. put me in social positions where I don't automatically fall into the role aligned with my agab/the gender I 'pass' as.

yes yes, it's great that you try not to only send me relationship memes where it's your gender x my agab, but i want you to like dating a non-binary person. I want you to vocally be anti-me-trying-to-act-cis (when its safe as can be to be trans gnc, ofc).

I’ve always been a tomboy but I tried to blend in. After a while I tried to be a girl the way society wanted me to be. I started dressing and acting the part I even grew my hair out.

I couldn’t take living a lie I cut my hair off but still wore “female” clothes. I met my boyfriend and fell in love. I used to borrow his clothes when we first started dating because I would unexpectedly sleep over sometimes. I started wearing more and more male clothing and he doesn’t mind.

I don’t even try to look female anymore I wear what I want mostly male clothes and my hair is even shorter than it used to be. I even came out as non-binary and I feel great! I embrace both the female and male parts of me.

I do worry that my boyfriend won’t be attracted to me but he says he still is and he keeps saying he loves me for me. I think I’m just wondering if there are other people out there that are more masculine like I am and are dating straight men?

No problem. Maybe they just haven't found themselves and that's the label they found to fit them best thus far.

And when you come out, maybe they're supportive and accepting.

But then maybe they try to pull off your binder and groping your (breasts) or reach for your born genitals...

Or continually refer to you as (she/her/Woman - for example) after you've told them several times.

Maybe in some cases they'll be extra trashy and cheat on you with a cis person (one their sexuality is attracted to) and claim you made them do it because you're so hard to be with

You'll deal with this kind of thing allot in dating as a non cis person. Maybe a little different.

These are just based on personal experience

Not getting into the beatings and assaults and even murders that have happened to non cis folks trying to date

(And ik things are hard all around and some have it worse. Like i said. Just a personal observation about dating while not cis Even if you date someone who is supposedly an ally/lgbt)

Gender is weird. I've been out as a flavour of nonbinary trans for at least 4 years, but I don't feel like I have figured out my gender yet. I used to feel uncomfortable with the idea of having facial hair. Now, with my third time on T I'm looking forward to finally being able to grow a mustache. I've been on dating apps for the past few months, thinking a lot about how I want people to perceive me. And I know I wouldn't feel comfortable dating straight women, that just feels wrong. I feel uncomfortable thinking about dating gay men, but I think it has to do with dysphoria, I'm not sure if it felt wrong to do so. I dunno, it's confusing. For a few days/weeks I was wondering if I was a trans guy after all. But maybe my gender is more fluid than I've assumed so far. Excited to learn more about myself, it's an interestening journey.
