I might be a bit new to DC comics and comic books in general and not used to this, but I love the way Bruce and Damian, who both claimed they needed no one, ended up with a horde of people around them.

Batman always claimed he 'works alone', but he ended up taking in a bunch of children who needed his help, he works with the Justice League and all their associates, and has a bunch of other connections (e.g. in the police department, Commissioner Gordon).

Damian, being his father's son—because why wouldn't he be—ended up with a bunch of friends across universes. There is Jon, of course. But we also have people like Maps, Colin, and Maya (the 2nd Nobody). In a possible future, he basically trains Elisabeth Prince, Wonder Woman's daughter. And in one continuity, he also has a canon girlfriend when he grows older, Flatline.

I love the fact that both father and son started out independent—and neither actually lost that independence, but they both gained a crowd of people around them who don't make that independence feel as lonely as it used to

Ok, this image needs some context.

Many years ago, my little head draw two possible childrens for the ZoNami couple, and now that I have more ´talent´, I can express the idea more clearly.

They don’t have names, it’s too much responsability.

I alwayse have the idea then the first child has to be a girl ( because yes, zoro protective dad), cute like the mother but loves dad’s hobbies more. And the second born a boy, looks like his dad but the same sassy character as the mother.

This audio inspires me the image context: this little 2 kids got in trouble for going where they shouldn’t. They are very different, but they love each other very much. (In this image 10 and 7 y/o)

Cody and Priscilla straying away from their "family" business once they get to college and going into degrees completely different from tech or rescue work.

Priscilla likely something with fashion design and Cody something to do with animals or the environment (the vibes I get from them for those degrees)

What an interesting couple future. Cody is now taking care of the little buddies that once tried to eat him, while Priscilla has taken the whole villain aesthetic and started a line of clothing.

Wardens of Malice (Possible Future)

"They fell from grace long ago, the 11th legion was one of the most honorable of the space marine Legions during the crusade. But they fell under the sway of the Archtraitor and joined him during the heresy. Though they weren't present during the assault on Terra or during the Istvaan massacres, they still swayed many worlds to the side of the traitors. The Primarch himself came to duel the Space Wolves Primarch Leman Russ over the attack on Prospero and the supposed death of Magnus the Red. It was a duel that shattered a world. We know not their activities now since the destruction of their homeworld and subsequent purging of their sector. But some reports have noted that they seem to have fallen to an unknown chaos god, one we do not nor recognize among the pantheon another we noted is that the Legion has one pauldron that has remained untouched by the ruinous powers. They seem to try ensure the symbol of their origins never fades, always trying to keep it there with various paints, like they are trying to hold onto what they once were. We dont know for sure..." Inquisitor log about the recently emerged 11th legion once known as the Remnant Knights but have come to call themselves the "Wardens of Malice"

“Hey Zenith?” Isaiah asked hesitantly.

Zenith immediately perked up, turning to look over his shoulder at the younger boy. 

Isaiah had fully stopped in the middle of the path. Quickly, Zenith halted and fully turned to face Isaiah. Immediately he noticed Isaiah’s hesitant composure. The way the kid’s eyes remained downcast in thought, and his brow furrowing in the process, it was clear he was troubled by something.

“Is something wrong?” 

Zenith’s systems quickly ran a physical diagnostic of Isaiah, scanning him intensely for any abnormalities or injuries.

“Are you hurt? Do you require healing?” Zenith begins to grab Isaiah’s left arm, looking him over quite intently.

Isaiah lets out a chuckle and allows Zenith to look him over before pulling away from his grasp. 

“No, no, it’s nothing like that. It’s just-” Isaiah pauses.

He’s holding back, Zenith realizes. It isn’t a physical abnormality that is causing this behavior, but something internal. 

When Isaiah lifted his clear blue eyes up to Zenith, he found himself taken aback. Tears brimmed the edge of the smaller boy’s eyes, and for a moment, Zenith thought he did something wrong. Before he could inquire further, however, Isaiah was there to rebuttal his inquiry. 

“I’m just- Everything that you’ve done- A-And everything that happened, trying to find you, battling with the Scarlett, and-and the whole, you know, teaching me. I just-” Isaiah paused for a moment, taking in a deep breath. “Thank you for trusting me and teaching me, and taking me under your wing. Aside from the boys, nobody’s really done this. I’m… I’m really grateful.”
