Shard Bishop is a Black Aboriginal Australian heroine w/ the mutant power to absorb ambient light & convert it into plasma or release it as concussive force blasts, etc; formerly a mutant-policing authority for the X.S.E. (Xavier Security Enforcers) in a dystopian timeline, but raised to admire the legendary history of the X-Men, she lost her life in duty, but was revived as a living hologram (able to phase through matter or become semi-tangible as 'hard light'); she later lost her life again, but at her best, she aided her brother X-Men alum Lucas Bishop, as well as the mutants of X-Factor!
