Just read somewhere that the thirteen sacrificed themselves for Manon but Aelin’s entire court was willing to sacrifice her and I’m repeating this again- WITHOUT LETTING HER SEE HER HOME- (of course our Rowan and Fenrys are exception to it all!)

Another moment that makes me wonder what would’ve been Sam’s reaction to it all- 😭

Something settled in Az because of Gwyn.

It's almost like SJM likes her endgame couples to settle each other - for them to find peace, calm, and complete and total acceptance with their person.

nestaq have to be sjm's most criminally underrated couple they are EVERYTHING and people don't give them their deserved flowers!!

nesryn is so overlooked by both the characters in the series and the fandom, but you know who never overlooked her? SARTAQ. he hears stories of all these big players doing insane things, like blowing up palaces and such, and you know what he focuses in on? NESRYN. he has ALWAYS seen and noticed nesryn.

and from the very first page that we meet sartaq in tower of dawn, he sees nesryn. he notices when she's upset by the news of what happened to rifthold, and he steps in for her. and truly seeing her becomes a pattern for him.

there's just something so beautiful to me about this girl who's been overlooked, in the background, always living for other people, and never feeling at home, finding a place that feels like home to her and a person who feels like home, a person who truly sees her, a person who even when he heard stories of all these other people using their powers and doing great things, honed in on HER and thought she was the coolest person ever, and he was willing to give up everything for her.

reading about nesryn finding belonging and opening up to others and going on adventures with the ruhkin and finding family with them and then also love and belonging and home with sartaq is SO BEAUTIFUL to me and I cannot believe people don't care about them.

People can hate Chaol all they like, but at the end of the day, Chaol x Yrene and even Sartaq x Nesryn are two of SJM's healthiest relationships.

Rhysand and Cassian ain't got shit on Chaol and Sartaq.

“He tilted her head slightly to more thoroughly claim her” Sound familiar? Have I read something similar in another bonus?? Ah yes!

The “hottest thing Sarah has ever written” wasn’t the Azriel bonus chapter, it was just her repeating a pattern from a previous bonus. Another bonus chapter where two people were attracted to each other and acted on it. Another bonus chapter that highlights a rebound relationship between two lost souls. Another bonus chapter where the people in it ended up finding their endgame and HEA in someone else. Like Nesryn found Sartaq and Chaol found Yrene after this bonus, so will Azriel find his mate in Gwyn and Elain will go back to Lucien.

She’s done it before. She’ll do it again.
