Me n gng when we’re being chased by the military
More from my ST5 fix-it. The party is working with the military to rescue Vecna’s victims, Mike has a realization.
Part 1
I might, just for shit and giggles, do a Shadow and Bone/Malina x Byler au moodboards edit, bc even tho I don't really like that ship, the paralles are too good to ignore. But before I do that I need to know what do the streets prefer

This has got to actually be canon
I wasn't initially thrilled about either the Life is Strange TV adaptation or Dontnod's apparent collab with Netflix. Mainly because Dontnod wouldn't be involved in the LiS TV show and that made me worried about how much the showrunners would respect the source material, and that Dontnod has never adapted an existing IP before and that project would take time away from a potential Lost Records sequel.
But after seeing how controversially (and unsatisfyingly) season 5 wrapped up along with the obvious fact that Netflix isn't gonna let the franchise die anytime soon, I really can't think of any other IP that they asked Dontnod to adapt than Stranger Things.
It's actually crazy how closely these two franchises have flown parallel to each other for the past decade:
Released around the same time in 2015-16
Has the word "Strange" in the title
Inspired by the same 80s/90s media (Stephen King, Buffy, Twin Peaks) down to identical train tracks scenes inspired by Stand By Me
Supernatural horror, humor, romance, and character-driven drama all in one show/game
Protagonists who are "outcasts" and find belonging in each other
Characters named Max (Caulfield/Mayfield), Will (Price/Byers), and Joyce (Price/Byers)
Superpowered young girls with psychic nosebleeds (Max and El)
Superpowered telekinetic children (Daniel and El)
Strong sense of nostalgia in a small-town setting
Celebrates nerd/geek culture and D&D
Analog photography
Queer characters
Tons of memorable needle drops!
Life is Strange itself followed the episodic format of The Walking Dead (which itself was a game adaptation of a show) and showcased a lot of indie film/television techniques, like fake camera effects and end-of-episode montages. Nothing's been confirmed yet, but if any big franchise is perfect for a studio like Dontnod to adapt, it is Stranger Things.
And now that Life is Strange is being made into a show, it'll become accessible to a wider audience. I could easily see ST fans who don't play games really digging this show, especially if they missed the more grounded tone of ST season 1 with a smaller cast. I really don't want the series to end after Reunion. I'm not sure if Deck Nine can survive or if Dontnod can afford to (or would even want to) buy back the IP to make LiS games again, but if the show does well it could bring new interest to the game series and keep it going. This could be a really exciting, cool opportunity for the two fandoms to finally cross over.
So I am rewatching volume 1, and I got to the part in which Max show Holy the cave. She says that Henry doesn't like that place, that he can't get there. She also establishes that the world she's in is made of memories. And it reminded me of the cave in harry potter. I was said that Tom (aka Voldemort)had either killed or hurt (I'm sorry but I can't quite remember) some kids in it. And in regard to the already existing parallels between Will/Harry and Vecna/Voldemort I connected those two. Except Voldemort hides a horcrux there, but Henry/Vecna/One can't even get close so it must be connected with a traumatic memory maybe one that weekned his powers...
It is just me rambling and it is a shot in the dark but maybe someone noticed it as well or has some diffrent theories.
