Number names should not be kept purely to systems who have been through OEA. People could have a number of reasons to use them

Not to mention, that makes it easy to target OEA if people are being shitty. Just my opinion tho

Nod, nod. I think its stupid to say "you can only use these names if you've been through this kind of trauma" because just.. what. Number names weren't invented by programmers, people have always used numbers as names and you can't just gatekeep that shit. Also like you said, anon, it could and 100% will be dangerous. People will be able to spot OEA systems way easier and be able to target them

This is the shit that pisses me off.

This exact fucking attitude is what pushed me away from calling myself asexual. This exact attitude is why I dropped the asexual label for YEARS.

I want to project MY AroAce experience onto characters. If projecting MY AroAce experience onto an AroAce character makes me Aphobic because I'm not sex and romance averse is BAD, then maybe YOU'RE the Aphobic one.

I survived severe trauma. I have certain programming (RAMCOA) that makes me latch onto people. I have BPD, which causes me to be hyperromantic and hypersexual, and I feel NO sexual attraction and I feel BARELY any romantic attraction at all.

But because I'm hyperrose due to trauma and I clearly like romance and sex, that COMPLETELY wipes out my AroAce identity. It doesn't matter that I've only ever felt romantic attraction twice in my whole life towards my partner systems, it doesn't matter that I don't feel sexual attraction, I'm not AroAce enough to you, even though (as you've stated), being AroAce is a fucking SPECTRUM.

Me wanting fanfiction or art that is remotely similar to MY AroAce experience is BAD to you people because how DARE I not be sex averse or romance averse. And completely ignore the fact that sex and romance averse people can ALSO have sex and a romantic relationship.

Maybe YOU'RE the one spreading Aphobic rhetoric.

AroAce people DON'T have to justify their likes in fiction to you. We should be allowed to have something that shows how complex our identities are. We should be able to tell our stories and our experiences.

And furthermore, as someone who IS dating a fictive of Alastor (who helps run this blog), I think I SHOULD BE allowed to read fanfic that involves Alastor. Because guess what, FICTIVES CAN BE SOURCE DIVERGENT.

The fact you fucks can't even THINK of the potential fictives that split from anything that may not have the same sexuality as their canon counterpart is creepy and ableist. I'm sorry, not everyone is going to fit in your little box. Fuck your boxes. I'm AroAce enough.

remembering how, literally just days after we found out we'd been programmed (and that the current iteration was also programmed specifically to be amnesiac to said programming, hence why we didn't find out about it for a decade), we found out one of the followers on our main (who we were already vaguely uncomfortable with but didn't pop up often enough in our notifs for us to care) believed that RAMCOA/OEA was just exo/xenotrauma. like their actual dni was "RAMCOA survivors DNI. if you have exo/xenotrauma then just say that lol"

at the time we just silently blocked and didn't say shit about them (because (A) again, found out just days earlier, and (B) this was the same timeframe as the snowchester bull that happened), but. holy fuck man.

(that was also the incident (combined with us beginning to figure out our own shit) that actually spurred on our "hey btw we support and believe folks who went through RAMCOA" post, because it hit just a liiiittle too close to home and we felt like. idk. Tainted. since this was someone who'd been following us for months and we never knew/realized. we're pretty sure they specifically added it during the snowchester debacle since we'd read through their whole pinned post before and hadn't seen it, but we're also dyslexic and have other vision issues so it's possible it was always there and we just didn't notice/see. idk.)
