My main thing is that we already kill fish to eat them, why draw the line at being able to stab them at that point. Like I don’t need or want a gun, the static rifle was removed for a very good reason for being to op. I don’t think just not allowing players to kill predators that are trying to kill you, a good amount of the time just while exploring (in my experience in Subnautica 1) is a reasonable reaction. I’m glad they’re going to turn down the aggression of them at least.

the way my hands rest on the keyboard means i accidentally push buttons quite often and in subnautica 2 this means i'm constantly accidentally detaching my submarine from part of its chassis. luckily that chassis has its own hud marker, which you can helpfully rename
