How would the ‘Weapons over boys’ club react if Ruby did decide to get a boyfriend? (I swear they would totally interrogate the boyfriend)

Well to start off they would think it was joke, maybe wave it off until they realized, it was serious.

Then all hell would break loose.

Tai would raise the alarm, Qrow would be sent out to scout where she is in bird form, Ozpin would dip from whatever he was doing to go to the group meeting, Yang was the one who told Tai so she's already there, Blake and Weiss are trying to find every single piece of information on this dude possible. They would basically become the next criminal investigation group for someone who isn't even a criminal, probably.

Then they would freak out cause once Ruby was into boys the delicate balance would break and the world was doomed and!-

Well it isn't that deep but still, Ruby is too good and pure to be tainted by heartbreak

Ruby has no idea this group exists, and they plan to keep it that way. Everytime they see the guy alone its constant threats, yang always cracks her knuckles, Blake fake slices her neck with her weapon, Weiss makes a glyph in her hand that has a mini wasp in it and the kid almost pees his pants

Qrow follows them anywhere they go, and i mean everywhere. It was weird for the movie theater workers to see a black crow flying behind a red headed girl, but they say nothing.

Ozpin, Weiss, and Blake are background checking the hell outta him, if he even has so much as a parking ticket he's getting the boot!

Any boy who even thinks of showing interest in Ruby is getting this treatment.

Meanwhile Ruby is oblivious, Glynda is just shaking her head in disbelief, and the boy is ready to run for the hills

I love Dadpin way too much so I decided, since I’m trash, I’d ask for some Dadpin angst. If not then you can do wholesome Dadpin. (everyone likes wholesome amirite?)

I love me some good ol' Dadpin fluff but I'll add a tiny bit of angst since you requested it! Seems like people really like my Dadpin headcanons. Let me know if you want more of these!

Dadpin is dad to most. Except team CRDL. They just don't learn so sometimes he has to give some tough love to those rascals.

Ozpin doesn't have favorites, but if you asked he'd say Glynda since she's been around him the longest

If he's annoyed at her he'd say Oobleck just because when she gets agrivated its entertaining

Team RWBY stops by the office at least once a month because he likes to make sure the team is okay. They do have a younger leader. And its totally not about checking up on his favorite children no sir.

If you ever want extra lessons from him, all you have to do is leave an offering of a new coffee mug and the best grinds you can find. The better they are the longer he'll help

Ruby figured out that if you add creamers and sugar he adds an hour. No one figured it out since they assume he likes it black

He's actually really fond of cream and sugar. Bitterness throws him off

He put Cardin in the corner once cause he was "Pouting like a brat". He ended up sulking there for half an hour

Ozpin is actually stronger than most think physically. He sometimes absentmindedly picks up the couch when he cleans. With people on it.

He's somewhat of a mother hen. He tries to keep the girls of the school away from the boys and breaks up any romantic scenes

"Remember stay away from boys, they're hormonal vultures." "Aren't you technically a boy too?" "Irrelevant."

As much as he's protective of the girls he's quite the same with the boys. He may rough house with them sometimes but he tends to teach them the things their fathers should when they're at Beacon. Shaving, tie tying, the works.

He and Glynda are the parents of the school and everyone knows it. Every other staff member is like an aunt or uncle

They actually get called Mom and Dad jokingly by the student body

Whenever someone gets in trouble Ruby and Yang yell

"OOOOOO YOU'RE GONNA BE IN TROUBLEEEEEE! MOOOOM! DAAAAAAD!"

It almost always sends kids into a frenzy like "please no quiet ruby pLEASE!-"

No one is immune.

The staff tends to dote on Ruby and Velvet since they're more soft spoken and kind.

When kids graduate, they tend to come by for tea to speak with Ozpin for advice or to just catch up. They do miss Dadpin after all

HERE IS THE ANGST LINE Y'ALL HAVE BEEN WARNED

Once Ozpin got connected to Oscar he felt like a failure

How was he supposed to protect them now that he didn't have a body of his own?

All he could do was scream in the head of some poor child he was made to possess because of some ancient magic. He never believed in his spirit taking over someone so young. Why couldn't it have been an adult!?

Its not to insult Oscar but he doesn't feel okay giving this kid his burden.

When he saw the kids through Oscars eyes he wanted to bawl. They were safe. Alive and safe.

He secretly wouldn't be able to handle if something happened to Ruby. She resembled one of his first ever children and it would've tore out his heart

When the teams gave him the cold shoulder he knew he deserved it. He dragged them into this mess of a war when they were supposed to be enjoying their childhoods.

When he found out Phyrra died the guilt tore into his chest. Well his imaginary one. She didn't deserve this fate.

He regretted ever telling her about the fall maiden. It was Ironwoods idea and no matter how much he protested he knew she'd be the best one to be the new maiden.

But now she was gone and it was his fault. Both the old maiden and Phyrra's death was on his shoulders

He tried to give the kids comfort when he was in control of the vessel (Oscar's body) but it was awkward and not the same. It made him so frustrated

Sometimes he wishes he was never cursed.

Concept:

After they make up, Oscar develops a habit of setting one or both hands over his heart whenever he’s in control and sends thoughts+ feeling of encouragement and comfort to Ozpin. 

This quickly becomes the best way to calm the man down or snap him out of a funk.

Hiiii. Can I get hc's on team RWBY going to the beach and all the girls ring some sort of inflatable float for themselves? What kinda float would each one bring? Why would they pick the ones they did? What would they do with them? Pls and ty so much!!!! Love the heck outta your blog!

Ruby: Ruby really likes floaties that she can push around and lay on, so she'd probably get a flat strawberry one! Ooo or a cookie shaped one. I think that Weiss would probably get her a donut one so she could have it around her as she swam. The team would most likely give her food themed ones

Weiss: Weiss would probably like simple blue chair ones, or the ones that have a roof on the top. She's quite pale so she burns easily, also ones with cup holders. She likes to drink lemonade while being on the water!

Blake: Blake really likes the floaties that are sorta like castles. She doesn't like getting wet or swimming much so she tries to get as little water on her as possible. She and Weiss are like parents watching their over excited children. She doesn't mind as long as she can read in peace

Yang: Yang likes the flat floaties so she can sunbathe while she's in the water. She also likes pool noodles so she can slap Ruby with them when she isn't looking. She's also tempted to push Weiss and Blake in with them but she doesn't wanna be mean

°When Ruby was a baby Yang would always try to make her say "Yang" so she would be her first word. One day Qrow walked by, took a swig of his drink. Yang saw him and yelled "UNCLE QROW!"

°Only for Ruby to shout out "U'NCO QWOW!"

°Qrow was smug, and Yang looked at him in disbelief

°This was the most utter betrayal.

°Qrow hold it over her head to this day. Yang is salty

°Ruby has no idea why.

°When they were younger Yang would take them out on "Missions" to do things. When in reality she was using Ruby's cute face to get stuff.

°Once Ruby was old enough she realized and screamed "huh...wait a minute. yANG!-"

°After that she just smiled and said "I'm in!"

°All they have to do is ask for stuff, use Ruby's cute face, and BAM! PROFIT!

°At Beacon Yang would pick Ruby up out of nowhere when she saw boys trying to flirt with her.

°No. Just no.

°She may tease Ruby about getting a boyfriend but that doesn't mean she actually meant it!

°She's a part of the "Weapons over Boys" club. Ruby deserves better than hormonal angsty testosterone machines

°Ozpin, Qrow, and Tai are also a part of this club. That and the female population of Beacon and Signal.

°Yang has a habit of throwing Ruby away from danger

°and its a literal "throw her out of danger."

°Boy trying to flirt with her? Up and Yeet. Too many Grim? Up and Yeet. Any problem? uP AND YEET-

°Ruby doesn't even know why she does this but at least it trained her landing strategy.

°Everyone finds this hilarious

°"So hey, i was wondering if you'd like me to take you out tonight? It could be-"

"I SEE AND I YEET-" "Yaaaaaaang!"

°If only they knew that Tai and Qrow had the same habit when they were at Beacon.

°They just grin and let it happen. Its good bonding after all

°On missions that aren't too serious, Yang will follow Ruby and play the mission impossible song behind her. It gets on Weiss's nerves, but Ruby just laughs it off

°When they were younger, Yang tried to teach Ruby how to use her weapon so they could become a power fighting duo when they got older

°Ruby never got the hang of it and got so annoyed that she threw them on the couch in aggravation. She's never felt so angry and annoyed in her life

°She hated the feeling so much that her hand to hand suffered alot. That's why she's kinda terrible at it

°Tai cannot resist any of their baby faces. They're his little girls okay?! And they know it

°Qrow laughs in his face about it but he's even weaker than him when it comes to that

°Ruby has a habit of taking random things and taking them apart. Only to put them back together.

°Sometimes they end up getting huge upgrades. Sometimes very explosive upgrades.

°Tai never bought another toaster. Or a microwave.

°Yang is surprisingly good at knitting and makes Ruby sweaters and hats all the time.

°She also taught it to Ruby!

°So everyone at Beacon who's a decent person gets a sweater and hat each year. No one knows where they come from.

°to teach Ruby how to swim Yang yeeted her into the pool. That's how Qrow taught her!

°Tai saw this and taught her properly.

Ruby And Yang Headcanons

•Ruby always sleeps with Yang. Always.

•Yang never minded but she eventually made ruby stop at 14 due to her leaving for beacon in about a year

•On Mothers day they have a treat yo self day with their dad

•Qrow is always included. Always. Theyll make sure he’s off from missions no matter what

•One time Ozpin had him on a mission the day before mothers day that Ruby spazzed out over the phone

•"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE’S GOING ON A MISSION!? OZPIN IF YOU DON’T GET HIM OFF THAT PLANE I WILL!-“

•Ozpins never made the same mistake again.

•Yang cant cook to save her life but she can bake, she only knows how to make Summers cookies, which are Rubys favorite

•Ruby can make some BOMB food! Students would always ask her to make some to the point where Goodwitch had to make them stop since she was always too exhausted

•Ruby is also a great Mechanic, if she wasnt a huntress, she’d be a mechanic or chef

•Yang always plays pranks on their Dad, and she always gets away with it

•Yangs also way too good at forging IDs, permission slips, report cards, goverment documents. They important she can make em

•She actually forged goverment papers to throw Salem and Cinder off Ozpins Ass

•Ruby is in the Weapons-Are-Better-Than-Boys phase, Tai and Qrow want to keep it that way

•If being leader gets too much for Ruby, Yang drops her off on Ozpins couch and lets her have a chill day

•When they were younger, Ruby and Yang said they would throw eggs at Raven when they found her

•When they face Raven together Ruby hands an egg to Yang

•Ruby always has an egg on hand

•No one questions it.

•One time Ruby drank out of Ozpins cup and became invincible for a whole week, it was hell.

•Ruby is the baby of the school and Yang knows it

•Yang sometimes has Ruby go with her to pick up guys, it always works

•Coco once tried to adopt Ruby

•One time Yang fell off a volcano and hit her head, she could only speak in puns

•Ruby has a sweet tooth so bad that Yang always has Candy on had for her

•Yang cried when she found out Ruby was gonna be going to Beacon with her

•She cried more when she got on her team

•Yang cried to the point of running out of tears when Ruby became leader

Any shopkeep headcannons?

In this house we love the shopkeep!

°The Shopkeeper is a really nice old man who started his business when he was 21 years old

°He was a hard working man, mining for dust in his families mines since the tender age of 10 years old!

°As a child he loved to examine dust and experiment with its properties

°in fact, this is why he has a bald top as an older man. Fire, Wind, and Thunder dust exploded on his head. He doesn't mind it and finds the accident funny

°He may seem a bit grumpy and callous but thats because he's used to running kids out of his store for trying to mess with his dust! It's a delicate thing you know.

°He genuinely likes having Ruby around the shop. As a child she would come around to check out the dust selection. He would patiently answer her questions and chuckle as her father came in worried as could be. She never asked she just zipped off to go to his store

°He named the shop "From Dust to Dawn" because he spent a whole day mining and made a world record for most dust found in 24 hours

°He's also an inventor! He likes to experiment with the dust for new properties. He's the one who created capsules for it for easy access into weaponry. It's how he made most of his money in the begining. When he was younger you had to touch raw dust and it was plain dangerous.

°Ruby tended to come into his shop often enough that people thought that she was his granddaughter or something. They both never said anything of it

°The Shop Keeper had children, but the two he had are all grown up now with families of their own. Sadly they don't contact him often if at all, so it's a blessing to him that Ruby came by so often. It was nice to pass on his knowledge to the next generation. One of his children was interested in dust but it died off before they could appreciate it. They're both in Atlas now.

°The Shop Keeper actually supplies Beacon with its stock of dust. He has quite the reputation for its quality. However he waves it off and stays humble. He's just doing what he loves!

°He won't hire anyone unless they have a genuine interest in Dust. Because workers who don't care for the products as well as someone who does is going to make his shop a danger zone and that just won't do!

°He was considering hiring Ruby but she wanted to be a Huntress. However he offered her a job if she ever decided to step down from it

°In fact he has it listed on his will once he goes that Ruby gets his shop and legacy. He's happy he found someone with a genuine interest in his craft

°Only 4 people in the world get free dust from him. And 2 insist they must pay. Ruby, Qrow, Ozpin and Tai. Tai and Ruby never take them free. They usually bargain with the old man and pay at least half. These squabbles make the Old Man's day

Any headcannons for what team rwby listens to?

Ruby: i think Ruby likes Alternative Rock, Indie, Pop, and Lofi Hip Hop! I also think she likes electro swing. Qrow introduced her to it!

Weiss: I think Weiss does like classical, but not as much as everyone thinks she does. I think she also likes Lofi. I also kinda headcanon that she loves musicals so she's probably the one blasting Hamilton in the dorms if anything

Blake: Blake is totally into Lofi Hip Hop! But if she's training she likes to listen to old school rap. I also think she indulges into R&B

Yang: Rap, Alternative Rock, Metal, and suprisingly guitar covers. She likes club music so Electro and remixes are also nice to her!

If Blake and Sun had a kid, what would hey be like? Their Faunus type?

Well, i think if they were to theoretically have a kid, it might end up having both a tail and cat ears. In the chance that happens i think it'll most likely become a cat's tail! The other possiblity is that it'll just take one feature from each parent.

But lf it ended up with just Sun's tail, i think it would become a Colombian Black Spider Monkey. It just kinda makes sense? That or like tabby cat ears if the kid only gets those

Could I possibly get a HC for team RWBY, JNPR, and maybe Oscar about what flower(s) they probably like or I guess best describes them. Ruby is probably gonna be rose and Ren will probably be a lotus but I'd like to be someone else's take on it.

This is a really cool question! Hm lets see...

Ruby: Well for Ruby it's obvious she might have a bias for red roses, but she does have quiet a few she likes besides those! She happens to really like daisies, they stand for innocence, purity, and loyal love. They remind her of her mother's cloak. The beautiful silky white. They also grew around her home and she'd pick them with Yang to make into flower crowns. She also thinks moonflowers are pretty, but doesn't know the meaning behind them.

Weiss: Weiss is actually a flower nerd. She loves to find the meanings to each one, and she roped Ruby into her little obsession. She has three favorites! Snowdrops, (which symbolise hope and new beginings) Camellas, (Desire, refinement, and passion) and Protea (Change, Transformation and Courage)

Blake: She also has a bias for a particular plant since her last name is Belladonna. Its also referred to as Deadly Nightshade! It fits her quiet well. She likes cherry blossoms, they stand for gentleness and kindness; she wishes she could have more of that in her life. She also has a strange love hate relationship with foxgloves. She loves how they look. But hates the meaning, it stands for insecurity.

Yang: Yang suprisingly does like flowers alot! She likes to find the meanings but sometimes just settles for the look cause they look nice. She likes Gladiolus (they stand for honor, strength in character, and conviction) Tiger Lilies (they symbolize confidence, pride, and wealth) and Gazania, they're these beautiful flowers that look like fire and they stand for wealth.

Jaune: Jaune is a fan of flowers! He doesn't know any meanings though. But based on looks he really likes Bellflowers, Daffodils, and Delphiniums. Its quiet ironic since he doesn't know what they stand for. Look them up and you won't be disappointed!

Phyrra: Phyrra likes flowers too, but doesn't know too many meanings. Her favorite are Dahlia (often associated with various meanings that may range from messages of enduring grace to signals of warning. They symbolize elegance, inner strength, creativity, change, and dignity. They are also known to represent one who stands strong in his/her sacred values) she also likes amaranth (immortality). She also quiet favors red roses too.

Nora: Nora loves really colorful flowers! She doesn't know any real meanings. She vaguely knows a few since Ren talks about them sometimes. She likes chrysanthemums (joy, happiness, truth, loyal love) and Hyacinths (playfulness, sporty attitude, and rashness) and peonys (bashfulness, compassion)

Ren: Ren likes flowers a fair bit! He does love Water lilies (purity, spontaneous generation and divine birth.), Aster symbolizes patience. It is also indicative of a love of variety. It also symbolizes elegance and daitiness and Lavander/Heather (symbolizes admiration, solitude and beauty while white heather symbolizes protection and indicates that wishes will come true.)

Oscar: He grew up on a farm, and helped in the gardens so he has a fair amount of knowledge on flower meanings he likes Gladiolus's (symbolizes strength of character, faithfulness and honor. The Gladiolus flower signifies remembrance.) He's not too much of a fan of remembering meanings however. He does like apple blosssoms and dandelions!

Qrow: He actually does have a secret love of flowers. Summer actually was a huge fan on the meanings and it just rubbed off on him. He has a pretty deep admiration for them. His favorites are Asphodelus (My regrets follow you to the grave), Anemones (Also known as windflowers, anemones symbolize anticipation and are thought to bring luck and protect against evil.) He likes these cause Summer used to give them to him. He has them pressed into a book. And the last one in a locket around his neck. And Ranunculus (conveys the message that you are radiant with charm, and/or very attractive) He purely likes them cause of the meaning. Tai gave him one as a joke once. Theres a funny story that goes along with them and if you want to know it let me know!

Ozpin: He liked flower lore quiet a bit. He had a few flowers around his office. His favorites are forget me nots, (True love, don't forget me) Aster (wisdom, devotion), and daffodils (rebirth)
