Notice that Loki never says “You’re not my brother” in this scene.

He says “I’m not your brother”.

He doesn’t disown Thor. He disowns himself from being Thor’s brother.

Because he fears that if Thor knows the truth about his race, he disowns Loki. So Loki prefers to say it himself, to not endure the pain of hearing it from Thor. Notice how during their fight he still calls Thor, brother. Because to Loki, Thor is still his brother. He just doesn’t think Thor would still accept him as a brother if he realizes Loki is Jotun. After all, Loki was afraid that Thor would kill him if he knew the truth. So of course he thought Thor wouldn’t have seen him as a brother anymore.

If you had to learn what the F keys on your computer do through me reblogging this post, then I'm glad you did. Computer literacy is not a skill that gets taught anymore, and it is absolutely one that needs to be taught in order to be learned.
