2025 2018
Redraw from seven years ago. I really wanted to do one of these to check progress, and changes on style. I guess is fun too.
I don't really remember what the 2018 drawing was supposed to be about. It was like an alternate universe, but I don't understand the logic behind me. I was 12 years old then, and I don't think I understood how dark worlds worked xd.
Deltober - The first and the final day.

WOOHOO! We did it guys, it's the last day of October, which means that Deltober is also over! I'm happy (and even almost proud) that I made it this far!
I was excited to draw this last piece, because I mixed it with the very first prompt, the one that I missed in the beginning of the challenge. For some time I just wanted to catch up with the first day and draw something on a random day, but I couldn't come up with any cool ideas until I started drawing the last prompt. I think it's pretty cool, this one drawing sums up the whole month, the start and the end in one place!
I'm not really sure if I'm a fan of the theories about Gaster, because everyone seems to blame all things that happen in the game on Gaster and it's pretty funny. Still, I felt like it would fit if I put him in this drawing, so here he is!
Alright! As for summing up, I also made a showcase of all drawings I did for this Deltober!
They all got a bit pixelated because there's so many of them!! I made 47 drawings for this challenge, featuring 30 characters, both in-game and fan-made, and it was all so much fun! I put little hearts in the corners of the drawings that I enjoyed making the most and that are my favourite. But still, every single prompt was very interesting and fun not only to draw, but also to see how other participants interprete them! I'm gonna be totally honest, I've been checking the Deltober hashtag here on Tumblr every single day, just admiring everyone's work. We all did so well guys! Good job!
However, I'd like to thank @ammi-delta-document the most for creating such an interesting prompt list! It was very cool and unique, as it wasn't just characters from the game for each day, or some random prompts, how it usually looks when it comes to challenges like this. The prompts were very specific and exciting, and some of them even made me think hard about some things and made me come up with ideas that I'd never have thought of on my own! For example, who would have thought I'd have to draw a Susie-designed box one day...?
Haha, once again, it was all very fun to participate in, thank you Ammi! For the list, and for all the nice comments and support under every participant's drawings!
I'm now gonna go and take a break from drawing for a bit I think, haha! I'm surprised that I actually made it this far, as daily challenges are usually not my thing. But I did it!! It was great. I hope we get another cool Deltober next year!!

I have a tendency to beat myself up whenever something I make doesn’t meet my expectations (which is always). The result is that finishing something = bad feelings: I am effectively punishing myself for having created something. The natural reaction to this punishment is an aversion to creation, meaning that my perfectionism is harming me, not only by causing me to despise what I do make and by impeding the creative process, but by attacking even my desire to create.

A pun post crossed my dash, and I reblogged it with an equally bad pun in return. A couple of my followers find it funny, it's a good day for everyone.
That was on July 7th.
Virality on Reddit was entirely algorithmic. You could garner a couple crossposts, but the success of a post was entirely dependent on whether or not it hit r/all--the main page of Reddit. If your post does that, it's immediately exposed to 10x the number of people and immediately gets upvoted.
On my pun post, I get a couple reblogs. And those reblogs get a couple reblogs--nobody really adds any content to the post, it just gets a couple reblogs here and there.
There's a specific chain of reblogs that I'd like to focus on. The most popular post on this chain has about 25 reblogs on it. Half the posts have three reblogs or fewer. Five posts in this chain have just one reblog total.
But the reblog chain keeps going. And going. It breaches containment many times over. And finally, after a chain THIRTY SIX posts long, at 9:30 AM, July 22nd this morning, it hits a popular account.
99% percent of the people who have seen the post--virtually unchanged from how it left my dash--have seen it because it was curated by 36 different people. That's insane to me.
None of those 36 people know that they're part of this chain. They saw a post, reblogged it, and moved on. If any one of these people had not reblogged, the post would have a fraction of the impact it has.
And yet, after two weeks, the post has effectively hit the main page of tumblr. It was picked up, only because people liked it enough to show it to their followers. There were no algorithms necessary.
You really, truly, cannot get this on any other website.

The IKEA portal to Narnia was the first short I saw that made me go to the full video, then check out the channel- and then I realized I had already seen their letters of complaint before and they were the same guys! I think the first letters I saw were either the FedEx or wife one.
First longform you watched? Oh My God, Is This A Joke?
Current favorite longform? The Unrelenting Aubergine will always have my heart, but Strange Noises from the Hole in the Wall is definitely up there as well! I’m also so fond of the Bamboozler of Notre Dame from the Patreon longforms.
How long have you been using tumblr? My account is 6 years old, but I think I was lurking for about a year before that.
Favorite fandoms other than SFTH? I think the most recent ones I’ve been in include Good Omens, Undertale / Deltarune, Epic the Musical, Magnus Archives, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I also just like a lot of musicals in general (Newsies, Hadestown, Team Starkid, etc). And Smosh and Dropout stuff- especially ACOFAF and Mentopolis from D20!
Favorite SFTH character and/or ship? Favorite ships are definitely Ditch and John Jacob/Angelina, favorite characters probably include Derek, Locomotion, Pinocchio! And I just realized those are all Tom characters lmaooo
Song that you associate with a SFTH character/ship/longform? I associate I Do Adore by Mindy Gledhill with Ditch. It’s just very sweet :D
I came up with this three-way table to help me (and now you, if you want) to rate things out of 5 stars. I was thinking of books and films when I made it, but you can probably use it for other stuff.
The idea is that you rate the thing on how much stuff you loved and how much stuff you hated, and those things weight against each other. There's only one way to get 5 stars or 1 star, so those should end up as the rarest ratings, wtih 3 stars being the most common.
'Spicy' means that the thing inspires emotion, whether positive or negative, while 'bland' means it doesn't affect you much either way.
An example of a 3-star (spicy) - for me personally - would be the Twilight series, because there's plenty of garbage in there but also some things that are like crack to me. I can't think of an example of a 3 star (bland) because by nature they don't stick in the mind.
(This also assumes giving 0 stars isn't allowed. That'd throw it out of whack...)
