Ramadan Mubarak to you all! #qotd : What’s your Ramadan muse? Ramadan do comes with all perks and no flaws. Beside doing mind calming Ibadat to the only one, we got chance to realize how much extra we have in our life than we actually need. We realize the power of empathy in ourselves. Sometimes we do realize it’s not the devil but us. The ray of hope is even though It's us, but our Almighty God's Infinity kindness gives us chances more than we deserve. And of course, the good foods, delights, Suhoor excitements, Iftaar preps and Taraweeh moments. I simply cannot choose only one muse but getting some extra time for myself is defined a plus point of this month. This Ramadan is quite a hard one with the second wave of COVID-19 and death news beside less bothersome summer suns. Iftar table is gonna have less chairs for some house, one less plate will be there on table, someone's Maa would not wake him/her up for suhoor. This Ramadan we pray for the departed souls, we learn to move one with safety and cautious, we spread the light of rahmat and not the virus. We hope we get to celebrate another Ramadan with the people we have seen this Ramadan's moon with. 'নামটা তিমি মাছ হলেও আসলে সে মাছ নয়!' ছোটবেলায় ছড়াগানের সুরে সুরে তিমি মাছের সাথে প্রথম দেখা! #qotd🌸 : you struggle to understand _____? My relationship with poem is quite rocky. I cannot swim in metaphores though I love them. I love how there are certain people can play with metaphors and word like a Guinness world record holder on solving rubik's cube; they just know which will be a great metaphore to express their thoughts! (Like none other than [email protected]). Metaphores are not the only content that a full poem needs but certainly my most favorite one. It is what makes a poem aesthetic. Struggle to understand poem is heartbreaking because I do earnestly want to love it. I wish I had my father's love and ability to write a poem. I wish I could play with words like flute, my intuition will put my fingers on right hole and my blow will create a sonata of pure sentences. Poem- 'Kobita' is truly one of the most beautiful words for me, so not holding it in heart like I want to, sometimes does break my heart. But then, one fine morning I realized I can create photos like poems, visualize a frame inside my head and it gives me the same joy of writing and understanding a poem. If that's my friend is not a true definition of finding motivation and love,I don’t know what is! This photo of my sister I took a last month and my brain suddenly wants to a poet tonight! Hi, Is it too late to wish happy Women's Day? I guess it is but who cares! A woman can celebrate what ever she wants. This Women's day I stand against gender-based violence specially violence against women. During COVID-19 situation, the GBV has taken a hike and as a part of human rights defending org, as a frontliner working for vulnerable returnee migrants, I have witnessed how the women in migrants family has been suffering, how the number of violence against women cases rises every week despite giving them legal aids, training, conducting mediation and advocacy works at the grassroot levels. As a women, I want nothing but a nurtured feminist soul in me who stands for women. I wholeheartedly appreciate how Bangladesh govt introduced 999 hotline for specifically for VAW cases. I urge everyone to come forward and apply gender lenses. It's a world for humanity and bring humanist is basic; but being feminist is a necessity when the female counterpart are oppressed, undermined, underestimated. #qotd🌸 : things you struggle with while blogging/ at instagram? Mine is definitely maintaining a theme. I am doing this bookstagraming/ instagram thing for for quite some years. If I can mention one thing I am bad at, that would be maintaining a theme, a clean feed. I feel like trying sci fi genre. Failing to enter much into it because probably I cannot find the right book. This maintaining theme is the same for me. I cannot find the right one for me. Not the right person to post some two cents on this rather I am screaming for your advice regarding this.Still I wanna say, to have a synchronised maintained theme, you have to wait! You have to try numerous times to fund the right one which goes with Your mood, which describes your individuality. Idk if you are agrreing with me in this. Random post at the weirdest time possible! It's 3:25 am here and I was crawling my way to sleep on YouTube. Okay, like I can find it there in million years,right? Then I stumble upon the20 minutes long 'Laila Majnu' theatre part from the movie Aaja Nachle.Now after all these years,I have to say this, even at this weirdest hour - I love this movie and I do not know how on earth this movie flopped. Beautiful story- check Appropriate Casting- check Dialogues- check So many subplots but wittily connect with the main plot - double check Dance,choreography, music- bless my eyes and ears check The climax theatrical performance of Laila Majnu - check check check check! This movie is so underrated. I mean there are so many details and people didn’t appreciate it at all. The photo I uploaded where the red dupatta has symbolized flowing blood from body is a marvellous way to show the death of Laila. The whole execution of the theatre part was done so brilliantly, It alone can steal the attention of audience. It showed how an Indian broadway show should be and I am gonna throw my money to see this for hundred times. God knows I want every dress @madhuridixitnene were in this part. I love how they write everyone's character in this film.people throughout the movie playing a certain character played a very different role out of their core role in this theatre part which shows how acting supposed to be, a play supposed to be. So many subplots are going there.Almost every character has a short story of their own but they blended perfectly.This movie is an example of good storywriting and execution with other movie elements. I remember to watch this movie for @kunalkapoor09. (Crush crush crush alert- couldn’t marry him but married a look-alike) but then blown up by the script,acting, set design everything. See, I can write a long post only about the stage drama in this movie. I think I am gonna rewatch it tomorrow. 🄱🄾🄾🄺 🅁🄴🅅🄸🄴🅆 Letters To The Lost By Brigid Kemmerer Two young person lost two loved ones and letters bring them together but so much more is there that can make the connection stronger or break it for eternity. This book is one of the best YA i have ever read.The writing is very easy going,almost like a comfort read yet hold captivating dialogues, story and backstories and deep thoughts. I tend to avoid YA because as an adult I look for a more thoughtful plots with practical situations and behaviours where most of the YAs I have come acrossed are mushy romances. This book somewhat gets me out of my feet. The plot is dramatic, even melodramatic at its climax yet the author pull of very well with good characterization, so well written letters and emails.The chemistry between the protagonists are so heartwarming and its so good to see them bonding over written words.I just want a penpal right now. The book is actually not about romance. It shows quite well how to handle the grief when someone lose a dear one and the portrait of grieving is very realistic. Though the boy protagonist Declan sometimes becomes unpleasant but the way he thinks is really relatable. You are gonna love Juliet, the frmale protagonist. She is the most practical fictional character and I almost like everything about her specially how she depicts things around her. There are cliches but I don’t mind them for the emotional and powerful storyline. I would highly recommend it if you are in a reading slump. Lockdown threw so many challenges at us - from grabbing rolls of toilet paper to hold almost everything by two ears; we have moved so far with grace and clumsiness hand in hand. To make this locked life a bit fun, people keep coming up with challenges everyday. Among billions of meaningful and awful challenges, this ghost challenge seems really adorable and too relatable for spooktober. I am keeping this light because my head is empty. But to keep it at least worth of your time, I would rec you to watch the Movie A Ghost Story. It’s a very very slow movie but throw you some new foods for thought for afterlife. The story revolves around a ghost who went back to his home but stuck in time. This movie is boring on purpose but if you can get past the snail pace,there are more to enjoy. Gestures are the main key in this movie as the main lead most of the running time are shown under a sheet. This movie might change your perspective about ghosts and you might start developing sentiments for them. I am also recommend you to read a cutesy graphic novel named Sheet which is one of my favorites GNs.It also has sheet wrapped ghost in it with adorable artworks depicting tales of mental health,trauma, loss and other heavy topics. I hope all ghosts of the world are happy and dancing and annoyed as much as I am listening to Rasel bhai at Voot F.M. If you are a ghost, I want to tell you that,you are awesome just like hooman.
