A man obsessed with trains finally steals one and immediately crashes it, killing several people.
At the trial, the man is found guilty of multiple murders and sentenced to death.
Before he faces his sentence, he’s offered a last meal, and asks for a single banana, which is given to him.
The next day, he’s led to the electric chair. They strap him in, pull the switch, and... nothing happens.
There’s never been a failure before. But because you cannot punish a person twice for the same crime, the court is forced to let him go free.
Within a week’s time, naturally, the man, who is obsessed with trains, goes and steals another one.
He doesn’t care that he can’t drive it or that he failed catastrophically before; he is obsessed with trains and his only desire is to operate one. As before, he crashes it, and kills several people.
Again, he stands trial, and again, he is sentenced to death, showing no remorse, only delight that he got to operate the train.
His last meal request is a single banana. When he goes to the chair, the executioner pulls the switch, but nothing happens. He goes free again.
The train-obsessed maniac, once more on the loose, wastes no time in hijacking a train and crashing it.
His trial is speedy, because this has already happened twice, and he is sentenced to death.
They ask him what he’d like for his last meal. “A single banana,” he says.
“Oh, no you don’t, you son of a bitch. We’re on to you, now. We know all about your little banana trick, and you’re not escaping this time!”
The guards refuse his request, and instead serve him a standard last meal of steak, potatoes, and berry cobbler.

Chaos Course Set Meal
Bespoke 9 course meal meant to be enjoyed by @tothechaos
Foreword:
As tasked by the prolific Gordan Ramsey, this 9 Course endeavour will feature the post in its entirety segmented into 9 delightfully ornate, unreasonably complex yet delectably unparalleled dishes. In the following, we'll see how to prepare each of these dishes.
Course One
Dish name: 10k notes of Hubris
10k Notes of Hubris is a simple risotto with saffron infusion and forest mushrooms, topped with shavings of the top 9th piece of this post, printed in full colour, regular stock. Due to the nature of a 9 course setting, it is wise to start with a simpler dish.
Ingredients (serves four people):
1 teaspoon of saffron
300g carnaroli rice
50g extra virgin olive oil
20g butter
5g shallots
1l vegetable broth
parsley (to taste)
100g porcini mushrooms
80g portobello mushrooms
100g brown mushrooms
5g truffle oil
5g lemon peel and lemon juice
30g parmesan cheese
thyme (a dash)
5g garlic
A pinch of salt and pepper
The first 9th of this post, printed in full colour with regular stock.
Method:
In a saucepan, pour the oil and the chopped shallot(s), then add the rice and saffron and toast
Pour the broth a little at a time and cook slowly. Allow to cook before adding salt and black pepper. Stir in butter, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, truffle oil, lemon juice and peel.
In a separate saucepan, cook the mushrooms with oil, garlic, thyme, salt and black pepper.
Presentation:
At the base of the dish pour the risotto, complete with forest mushrooms and basil leaves. Shave the printed top 9th of the post and sprinkle on top. Drizzle a dash of olive oil before serving.
The next dish and recipe of this 9 course meal, complete with the next 9th of the post printed and incorporated, will be presented by another chef.

The tumblr post equivalent of the fall of ceasar. Well can't miss my turn with the knife.
Kind of feel like writing a movie that seems normal but when you watch it, it feels like you're slowly going insane.
Like it's a normal movie for the first half to 3/4, but then it gets progressively weirder. But only very, very subtly.
Like first one line is thrown in that makes absolute no sense, like just a random string of words, but the characters act as if it made sense, and then it just becomes more and more and by the end of the movie nothing makes sense that the characters say. The music becomes odd, but very, very slowly. The way the shots are filmed should make no sense anymore, and have a character be replaced by a different actor that just looks slightly different, use wrong names. By the end it's an incromprehensible mess, but you're still able to follow the plot somehow.
I don't wanna hate season 5 of American Housewife, but it is undeniabely very different from the first 4. I mean, there are the obvious changes, with Anna-Kat having a new actress and Doris and Angela being removed completely. But there's also a lack of so many other characters, Chloe Brown Mueller, Tara, Suzanne and Viv.
It just felt empty, you know? It was probably just that the contracts were binding for only 4 season and of course it happens that actors leave, but it still felt sad.
The storylines were also a bit weak, and I get that coming up with new stuff after several seasons can be hard.
I think it was just a very noticeable budget cut tbh, that made it very different.
However was Cooliver a highlight, should've been canon.
Who else thinks that if Greg and Katie ever separated Doris would try and date Greg like immediately after the separation

I adore ships and I could literally talk about them all day, everyday. Today I will be talking about Cooliver and the reasons why I adore them together.
1) Best-friends to lovers is such an elite trope, especially when these best friends spend every second of the day together yet still never get sick of each other.
2) Oliver himself said that Cooper understands him.
3) There are multiple times where Cooper either changes Oliver’s perspective on a situation or convinces him to do something he didn’t want to do and he is the only one that can do this. The best example is the episode where the Ottos recreate their family photo for Katie’s birthday, Greg tries to convince Oliver to help him but Oliver only listens when Copper tells him to.
4) They are both always so smiley around each other. This is more shocking for a character like Oliver who is not bubbly at all and more closed off. He has never looked at any person, not his girlfriends or his family members the way he has looked at Cooper. It is very clear that they are each other’s person.
5) They are a perfect match. Wealthy boy who does not have a loving family + boy with a loving family who wants wealth.
6) Neither of them are their parents’ favourites. They both deserve to be someone’s favourite person.
7) Cooper finally has someone (in fact a whole family) that loves him for who he is and not for his money.
8) Both of them accept each other for who they are and encourage each other to follow their dreams. The episode where Cooper realizes he wants to be a chef and the episode where Oliver tries to get an internship are good examples of this.
9) They don’t enable each other. Cooper straight goes to Katie when he is concerned about the Oliver wanting to take medication that wasn’t prescribed to him.
10) In Franklin’s words, Cooper follows Oliver around like a lost puppy.
11) They parallel all the canon couples, most notably Katie and Greg.
12) All the little jokes the other characters make about them being married.
13) Certain lines in the script, such as Oliver joking about marrying rich in season 1 and Cooper wanting to be an Otto.
14)Cooper was in Oliver’s vision board.
15) Multiple characters think that they are dating, most notably Taylor.
16) Trip is actually paralled to Cooper in his introduction. This character’s intro was Katie not liking him and thinking he is rich and vapid and a bad influence on her kid, then at the end after doing something nice for a member of the Otto family, which proves to Katie that she was wrong and that softens her towards this character. Whose intro am I talking about? Both Cooper and Trip but Cooper’s intro was done first, which makes me think that Trip’s introduction was inspired by Cooper’s because they are very similar.
17) They could have had any one of Oliver’s girlfriends parallel Franklin and Trip but they never did. Cooper always paralleled them placing him in ‘boyfriend category’.
18) Greg said that Cooper (and Trip) might be around for a very long time. I think Greg might be half-right about this.
19) They gave themselves a ship name.
20) They wore matching tuxedos to prom.
21) This is probably a reach, but they are the only couple who didn’t get engaged in the last episode. The engagement could symbolize an omen, therefore they are safe.
22) Their dreams are compatible. Their dream schools are in the same area.
23) They planned their future together.
24) Oliver’s sadness and his speech to Katie about how much he’ll miss Cooper affected Katie so much that she decided to move Cooper into the Otto home.
25) Cooper’s dynamic with the Otto family, especially his dynamic with Katie.
So I saw a bunch of people say that the writers or producer of American housewife said that Cooper was supposed to confess his feelings to Oliver and they were supposed to end up together in the last season, but then the show got canceled

I watched american housewife and am very sad that there's no season finale, so I want to make up what I think is best for the characters, if there was a season 6.
Katie - I thought the pregnancy was a weird twist, that only made the fact that the show is cancelled sadder. However, with that I would make that there are complications with the pregnancy, but in the end it turns out more or less fine. Just typical baby stress.
Greg - now that he's a politician, he just has some wacky storylines about what he's doing and fighting for nature and history and stuff.
Taylor & Trip - Taylor keeps doing relatively good in college, she and Trip are a great couple, although they for sure go through some troubles in their relationships. They also plan the wedding, but I would say they wait a pretty long time.
Oliver & Cooper - they finally become a couple god damn. Cooper convinces Oliver to at least finish high school, especially so they can go to Prom together. They have a lovely storyline about how they realize they do love each other, maybe this girl comes back and Cooper gets all jealous. Also, Cooper totally lied, his dad was not okay with it, instead he got disowned. Now he actually has to live a normal life and get into college the normal way. Oliver keeps working on that app, but he also finally realizes there's more to life than money, maybe through Coopers help. But also, I think his efforts should pay off (also, I think it was so unfair that he blew the SATs, because he literally worked so hard for it)
Anna-Kat - idk she's just doing kids stuff I guess.
Watch Carol And The End of The World it's so good you guys. It's unlike any apocalypse story I've ever seen before. Carol and the slow, strange way she sees the world gradually draws you in until you don't want to stop watching. The slower pacing and the episodic TV format mean that the lives of characters and even inanimate objects can be observed under a heartfelt microscope, and the slowness also lends itself to a feeling of deliberateness. When something is left open ended, you know the writers did not just forget, they did it on purpose.
The show is also so unapologetically weird. The looming apocalypse leads people to abandon social norms and think in strange ways, and the show *owns* it. It knows the premise it's showing you is weird, but it dives in (HA ocean pun you'll get it if you've watched the show) and pulls you in with it until you're invested and not even questioning anything anymore.
By the time the final episode brings everything full circle, you feel a little bit like Carol, watching the world with wide eyes, and aware of how you're changing it in your own unique and often subtle way.
Just had the worst dream ever, thanks to Carol & the end of the world.
It was basically the same thing: the end is soon, because a planet is crashing into earth. And. It. Felt. So. Real.
At one point in my dream I thought "I wish this was a dream, but it's been too long." IT WAS JUST A STUPID DREAM OH MY GOD
