I love the idea of Danny’s obsession being showing love and care to people

For the longest time he thought it was protecting people after all that’s what he did for 3 years but during those years he realized it wasn’t protection, he still protected town but it wasn’t his obsession

Then he thought it was space, he had been obsessed with it for years and had originally wanted to become an astronaut or at least work for NASA in some way, but that wasn’t it either although it took longer for him to realize

When he first came to Gotham, on the run from his parents with the help of Clockwork, he got some forged documents made it look like he was really born in this universe and everything, he went to school for aerospace engineering so he could work for NASA

He had to work a job, he originally started at a cafe and realized he loved when people complimented his baked goods or his brews. He felt better when he helped street kids, after all living near Crime Alley meant there were plenty of kids who need even just food. He slowly realized his obsession was caring for and showing love to other people, the love he sorely lacked, sure Jazz tried she really did but she was only a child too, she couldn’t provide what Danny needed no matter how hard she tried because she needed it too and never got it

He finished school after picking up degrees to start a business, he then started his cafe, Phantom Zone, a little on the nose but he liked it and it drew ghost like crazy

This so big brain moment and it's amazing how it ties in other things from canon to headcanons and other stuff.

This guy had scientists for parents, who most of the time focus on their work, yes they love their kids, as we see in the show, but they get tunnel vision when it comes to ghosts, for example: setting their differences aside to run after "Santa". Completely forgetting about Jazz and Danny.

Also, I'm sure Danny is from Midwest, and I'm not American, but from what I've heard and read, people there don't joke with good food, even if it sounds weird. Now couple this in with the fact that he probably didn't get much from his pantry because ✨️ecto cross contamination ✨️! Him owning a cafe makes a good sense.

I can just imagine him experimenting with food and baked goods. Imagine him going on a huge Web hole because of red velvet cake and why it was called red velvet when it's just colored chocolate. Just Danny trying to talk to old ladies, because those people really know their food, and being so happy because he gets to learn things while still making these people happy.

Because of Bakugo’s quirk being Nitroglycerin like him and his family actually don’t know how toxic it is so they just play it safe

Bakugo is hard of hearing because of his quirk, not because of the sounds but because he has an extra part if his ear that adjusts to block out his explosions depending on how loud they are but is always muffling sounds

Bakugo is demiromantic and demisexual, he ends up dating Kirishima

Kiribaku is a t4t couple

Kiri was a emo/goth kid in middle school and still keeps up with the music

Having been in the wider alt community he heard about punk and really liked a lot if the stuff they stand for and do, so he started engaging with the community and adding some punk stuff to his casual clothes

Kiri has started a battle vest, Bakugo tried to make him a Red Riot patch, it is aggressively homemade and Kiri loves it

Kiri ends up being a like 210cm, about 6’10, beef cake of a sunshine boy

Bakugo ends up being like 200cm, about 6’5, he is very salty about it

When Bakugo debuts as a Pro just graduated, his hero name is Ground Zero, the bakusquad actually helped him pick it

Mina suggested Blasty, mostly as a joke, it was vetoed immediately just because of Bakugo’s reaction, but they also decided it was too kiddy for the type of hero Bakugo wanted to be

Denki suggested Dynamite since it is part if his current name, they vetoed it because it also felt to kiddy, not near as bad as Blasty but still, Denki also made a joke about it being DynaMight and while Baku obviously still respects All Might there are many complicated emotions there

Sero suggested Detonation, he actually had heard this one from Jirou, they decided it would be too hard to say quick and might be too difficult for younger children, Baku also said it didn’t feel right

Kiri suggested Ground Zero, they decided it was the best one, it’s 2 easy to say words and Baku felt like it fit

Mina is bi

Sero honestly just says he’s queer cause he’s like lazy questioning, he isn’t looking for answers he just knows he isn’t strictly straight

Blue Lock time!!!

I think this I my first time posting anime headcanons which is a crime. I only have like 2 so far cause I've only watched the dub anime so only up to the announcement of th U-20 game. So I don't feel I have a good characterization or like attachment to a lot of the characters that show up later. So take my 2 headcanons!

Isagi can sing really well, no one knows for a while but they catch him singing once after the world five match, pre U-20 game, and never shut up about it so eventually it's common knowledge in blue lock, but not to the public until way later on.

Bachira cannot paint to save his life, despite his mom being a painter and him growing up around art his entire life. It’s the colors that get him and he doesn’t really put the effort into learning color theory because he’s so focused on soccer, but he can draw almost any style beautifully. It's honestly low-key criminal how little effort his drawings take, of course this is after years of doodling and just hanging around his mom doing stuff with her.

Hiccup forgets to eat, more specifically he doesn’t feel hungry until he’s been awake and doing things all day and suddenly it’s like 3 in the afternoon and he is very hungry

Hiccup is good at the big forge stuff (the weapons crafting and inventions) but he is also good with small detail stuff (more like jewelry making today)

Hiccup often got sick as a kid, not sick enough to need a person around all the time but sick enough to stay inside

Because he got sick so often Hiccup read a lot so his reading speed is the fastest in the village. He also just knows a lot of random stuff that he was able to read in books. So he knows a lot of trivia and just like small niche skills

We all know that the batfam members all have a public persona. At least a little with the ones getting the most publicity having more extreme ones.

For example Brucie Wayne, playboy extraordinaire. If rumors are correct (they aren’t but they help) he has slept with most of Gotham and is a huge bimbo. He has mellowed out with age and has a pretty strict limit on partners younger than him, they can be 5 years younger, he will let as many as 10 slide under the right circumstances but that is it.

Next is Richie Wayne, the lovable excitable goofball. He is a model who is an airhead, smarter than his father Brucie but that’s not saying much. He is commonly seen helping a local gyms and dance studios, even if he seems a bit confused by all the cameras.

Next is the tragic Jace Wayne, the golden boy, despite being missing for several years and proclaimed dead he still remains as sweet and polite as ever. He is a proper gentleman, he never curses and is highly involved with all the charities around Gotham, most prominently the WE related ones, he is commonly found reading books to kids in the library or found helping the kids of Crime Alley with school work. He is an absolute angel.

Timothy Drake-Wayne could learn a thing or two from Jace Wayne, Timothy is a rich jerk, charming but in an obviously condescending way. He thinks he is the smartest one in any room at any given time. His new money attitude often upsets the old money crowd, but they play nice, he is obviously the smartest of the grown Wayne children and is clearly the inheritor of WE so it wouldn’t do to be on his bad side.

Dami Wayne is still trying to find his footing, he seems to be trying to figure out a balance, he’s clearly nervous and is trying to hide but he is just too cute , people can’t help but talk down to him

I also love the idea of like Titans Tower thing happening and Jason still beats Tim up, but instead of Tim being insecure like in a lot of fics he’s just constantly making fun of J being a big theater nerd. Like Jason made a whole Robin outfit to his new measurements, this man either made a tear away version of his Red Hood outfit or he actually just tore off the real one and had to buy a new one. Like you can’t tell me Tim didn’t hang that over his head for ages, probably never stops.

I am aware that this is more similar to canon but I feel like Jason doesn’t get made fun of enough for it and I feel like Tim doesn’t get to bring it up enough either

Also I’m trying to get a good feel for the comic version of DC characters starting with the batfam, so if anyone has like recommendations on specific issues or like runs I should read for each of the characters that would be great

I love the idea of Jason deciding to check his grave for whatever reason before Titans Tower and seeing Tim just talking to his grave and showing pictures that Tim really likes that he's taken recently

I like the idea that J didn't think that people cared enough to go to his grave and then checking it and being surprised to find someone there but also pissed off that instead of Bruce or Dick it's the Stalker he saw on patrol sometimes

He isn't pissed off at Tim, actually he is super touched and goes back to watch him and listen to him talk, he's pissed off at Bruce and Dick, he thought he'd see them at some point but he never once does, not in person and not on the cameras he eventually sets up hoping that he just keeps missing them, that they actually care enough to show up

He ends up kind of adopting Tim in his head, like the more he sees Tim and hears Tim ask for advice on how to save Batman, on how to be as good as J, on how to make Nightwing like him instead of reminding him of Jason, his dead brother, J decides that he is gonna do his dramatic reveal plan and then he is gonna move back to the Manor to make sure Bruce isn’t fucking up when it comes to Tim

Tim became his Baby Bird, like he’s Dick’s Little Wing, he is the first one to notice that Tim feels like he is overstaying his welcome, he notices when Tim tries to move back to Drake Manor, he makes sure Tim knows that J came back to the manor for him, stays for him and will leave with him

Can you tell I love J being a good big brother to Tim

I think it hits Percy when their kids turn 12, when he was chased by the Minotaur with his mom and Grover, when he was accused of stealing something he didn’t even know existed simply because he was in New York, his home, at the time, when he went across the country fighting multiple deadly monsters and then fought a war god, not even to prove his innocence, just to get Zeus to the normal level of hate

I think it hit for Annabeth earlier, when their kids turned 7, when she felt so alone that she ran away, when she realized she couldn’t understand how her father had neglected her so much that she ran away so young, sure she didn’t know she was a demigod yet, sure she was just trying to get to her cousin and aunt, but they were in Boston, sure she found Luke and Thalia but they were only a few years older then she was, they were all kids on their own just trying to survive

By time Percy and Annabeth got to 16 they were considered veterans, they had probably been on the most quests of just about everyone at camp, they were putting their lives on the line long before they reached 16, they don’t understand how at 16 campers that were in college were looking at them like they were heroes, cause they didn’t feel like they were, they were just trying to survive and get as many people through with them as possible

Some Batfam Head Canons

I personally believe that multiple batfam members have autism in varying amounts. Do I have autism? Maybe idk I can’t get an official diagnosis but I’m pretty sure I have some so please take this with a like a grain of salt

This post specifically is about Jason Todd, my current favorite batfam member

His main special interests are english lit, specifically classics, social services, and guns, more specifically their history

This man will pull quotes from any number of old books out of no where just to fuck with people. He will also just say random facts about the history of guns for like no reason.

I personally believe he has like less autistic tendencies? Idk if that’s the best way to put it but yeah, so he will use the other batfam members autism‘against’ them.

Like one day he wanted to make sure Bruce wouldn’t bother him so he got him a big bin of legos and just set him loss, one of B’s special interest is geography so he just started like recreating different maps and stuff. (Eventually Tim and Damian also became a part of this and the three of them have a designated room for a miniature model of just about anywhere they’ve been made of legos.)

This ends up being a way to say sorry without saying sorry as well, for both Dick and J but J uses it more. Like J will but more legos or buy specific one if he remembers them mentioning them.

The legos to distract thing also works on J but it has to be like the sets not just like loss legos. He also has a separate room for his lego sets.

J will deny he has autism, not because he’s ashamed or anything like that he just likes fucking with his siblings. When J claims to not have autism, and he has gotten into legitimate fights about it, his siblings laugh and make fun of him for his autism denial.

Everyone genuinely believes him when he denies he has autism until they are talking to Roy about it for whatever reason and Roy is just like ‘What are you talking about he told me like forever ago, I’m pretty sure I was one of his first calls when he got his official diagnosis because he was happy he had like hard evidence of it.’ None of them were very happy with him.

Also I have not read the comics, this is all from fanon vibes

Some Dpxdc Headcanons

Danny and Jason have met plenty of times all over Gotham in and out of both of their respective costumes

Danny knew the second he laid eyes on Jason he was some kind of Liminal, he knew he wasn’t just a Liminal human tho, he just didn’t know exactly what he was at first

Danny eventually figured out he was a halfa but didn’t realize that Jason didn’t know until he came into the cafe that Danny ran so Danny started trying to push some of the more ghostly abilities Jason had only to realize most of them were already active just not consciously used

This really confused him so he just let it be

Jason for one didn’t realize his abilities were ghostly in nature because most of them just seemed like exaggerated Bat qualities

He is built in a brickshit house but can be as silent as Damian, even quieter than Cass and Bruce a lot of the time; he can jump as far as Dick and Cass like it’s nothing

Even in his Red suit he can blend in as well as If not better than Cass and Bruce when he needs to

His growls and grunts get even more menacing sometimes, they become almost amplified with an otherworldly edge

He can make new menacing noises at times without realizing, He never does make any of the softer noises of the ghostly language because he hasn’t gotten the chance to be soft, All his noises have been angry, hurt, scared, harm, they are all negative and meant to scare others off

I have not read any comics, have barely watched any of the show, this is all based on fanon shit
