why can rockstar games institutionalise you for life like nikita kruschev for being autistic
He didn't steal 10 million dollars. They made that number up as a loss, they never fucking had it. Rockstar has spent more than a billion fucking dollars on GTA VI and will likely make billions more when it gets released.
Uber is a fucking shell game of a company designed to leech investor capital and output bootleg cabs.
Nvidia posted a profit in 2023 of $4.37 billion. This is like someone stealing less than a penny from me.
And they lock this kid in a prison hospital for LIFE?
Capitalism is disgusting.
Nobody should buy GTA til they free Arion Kurtaj
What with GTA VI going up for pre-order i'd just like to remind everyone that rockstar conspired with the UK government to lock an 18-year-old away for life for hacking them.
Lighting practise ft. Chara I gues
Yet another new study debunked the basis for the anti-trans sports bans. It was never about sports but for creating legal avenues for exclusion and abjection. This is one of the largest analyses ever conducted, involving 52 studies and 6,485 trans people. Read the study here.
post so nice had to reblog it twice and force it down everyone's throats
At minimum about 4.5 thousand people liked this without reblogging it.
We gotta fix that.
A list of the different human souls and how they connect to the story. This also reveals how weapons work in Undertale. Despite what I previously said, I now understand the actual capability of the weapon delivering damage is not truly the power the weapon has. The way the fights work is its a fight between the monsters soul and the pure energy that makes up their magical body, vs the human soul. The humans body is not the thing being hurt. Their souls are. This explains why you don’t bleed or die immediately from being hit with an axe.
The “weapons” and “armors” stats are not based on their physical traits, how could a locket protect you more than an full apron?. The stats are not just based on the actual object but moreso on how it was used by the human soul that owned it, the more used it was, the more powerful it was, the more of their soul bonded with the item, the more that item has the traits and powers associated with that soul. Take for example, Frisks red soul items, the items he starts with, due to only having them for a short time they are not very powerful, but they still have traits like Frisk, the stick is useless as a weapon, but can be used multiple times to instantly spare dogs and gain points to spare Mettaton. The bandage allows frisk to heal himself with it when he replaces it with something else, because he is the only one who uses the previous human souls items. Chara, arguably the human that spent the most time under Mt Ebott alive, filled with the most intense feelings of hatred and violence, has the most powerful weapon and most powerful canon armor.
As the books say in UnderTale, the hatred and determination and lasting soul power of the humans is what makes them so strong in battle. If a human spent a long time with a small scarf a n iron ring, that scarf can protect them from being killed by even being blasted with a cannon of energy and that ring will allow them to punch holes through a monster in solid armor. Likewise, you could show up with a katana and full military combat gear, and if you didn’t have a lot of experience and time wearing it in Undertale, it would work like it normally would and you’d have a hard time with the stronger monsters and it wouldn’t be as good as something with experience and soul bonding to it. This is why the farther you go the items get more and more powerful. The items are all dropped in the area the human owning them died. This means that those beginning items belonged to humans who didn’t have as much time and experience with the items and this bonded less of their soul to it. The protagonist doesn’t really attack with the items form, they attack with determination and their souls power. This is why you can fire the gun without bullets. He is holding the gun and imagining he is shooting. Same with the notebook casting spells with magic pages.
A human with a weapon that they have lots of experience using to kill monsters, a weapon filled with hatred and determination and the fantasy of using it to commit acts of violence, using it to kill, that is what makes a worn dagger into a real knife, what makes it so a slash of a knife is like a slash of a light saber. The humans did not really endure all the horrible attacks monsters used, they didn’t get engulfed in flames, hit by spears or hit with energy cannons, it was their souls being attacked by the energy of the monsters souls, until their souls were weak enough to be taken from their body, killing their body while the soul and the items it bonded with retained their power and were not destroyed by time. This explains everything, including how the food there is monster food, it’s mostly pure energy, they convert it directly into energy with no waste, which is why the energy from the food instantly restores the health of our soul. This is why in the fights you are dodging attacks with your soul and acting with your soul, not your physical body. This is why Undertale’s fighting mechanics are actually even more unique!
This was a good early post of mine, I just realized not many people realized this, Frisk is a child, they are just pretending the “weapons” have this power, the gun is empty, he is pretending to be shooting. This is why in the fight with Undyne when her house is burning down, even with Temmie armor, the gun, and a legendary hero sandwich, your attack still won’t hurt her badly. It’s not actually firing bullets.
You maybe actually mentionned this before, so sorry if I’m being involuntarily redudant but -how come monsters can tell you’re hurt then? For example, when you run into Toriel next to her house in the ruins and heals you when she sees you’re hurt. Can they see Frisk’s soul?
They see the soul, judging on what Papyrus says if he isn’t just breaking the fourth wall during the date. I assume you won’t look so good or happy when your soul is on 1 HP, especially if HP doesn’t stand for Horse Power like Aaron jokingly says and instead stands for HoPe. Think about the Band-aid item. Aside from applying a bit of pressure to help slow bleeding and preventing further trauma or contaminants from reaching the injury, band-aids don’t actually heal you, but the child sees them and cant see the injury, so they stop crying and don’t feel like they are hurt, the cushioning of the bandaid prevents the damage nerves from firing off to the brain, the injury doesn’t hurt as much when they touch it. its basically the placebo effect and the fact that if you can’t see it, it feels like its healed better. Thats why it actually heals the soul, because it increases the hope, the feeling that its going to be okay, you put on a band aid, so you feel better. I have worked with kids, even if its a bee sting where the injection wound after the stinger is removed is super small and not bleeding and a band aid won’t help, we still put a kids band aid on with their favorite cartoon character, same with mosquito bites and tick bites and spider bites. the creams we put on those wounds are the things actually helping, but the creams get rubbed in and the kid can’t see its there, but put on a band aid and they stop crying as if it instantly healed it. then the parents usually promise to go and get dessert to cheer them up, even when ice cream won’t get those toxins out of the body any faster. Its not for healing the body, its for healing the “soul”.

Hypothetical question... you know...
In the world of glitchtale, more specific on Season 2. There can’t be more resets, for 1 the button is completly broken and the save/load function was destroyed along with it.
Here’s the thing, if you are put into a position where things are really messed up. Would you
1- Look for a way to keep going forwards and try to find a solution
2- Find a way to reset/load the timeline anyways.
If you decide to keep going forwards you might never find a proper solution which would eventually lead to everyone dying anyways. And even if you find a way out of whatever mess you are in, the changed that have been made can’t be undone. Ever.
And by reseting, the timeline might get more corrupted, or evennerasing itself anyways. But even if you reset/load correctly the glitches might not be the same in the next timeline, which would mean no asriel/no gaster maybe ever again. But it’d give you a better chance to save monsterkind and humanity
Soo..
Being presented with these 2 choices.
Which side would you choose?
1 or 2?
I wanna read some debates and opinions.
And whatever your answer is… keep it in mind… you might need it Edit: For those who chose 1. Did you get the pacifist route in undertale without dying the first time?. Or did you load akd save until you got the ending you wanted? For those who chose 2. Would you always rely on the possibility of doing things again instead of learning of your own mistakes?
I will choose option 2. I think the reset power isnt bad, its only the way we use it. And even if there are new glitches there are second chances..nearly infinite. So why waste a power like that just bc it comes with some consecuences? Or because we used it bad a few times (im talking about genocide routes for fun here, or any other bad choices). I think its so sad to break the reset button refusing to use a power that most people would die for having bc it would allow them to undo really shitty things
I will try to get asriel and gaster back by triggering it in another way if the glitch didn’t happen (im sure there must be other ways to save them)
I will not rely on the possibility of doing things again, (since its possible that the glitches wont allow me to do it if the events change) i will try to do it the best i can and learn all i can, but i will use the power of reset if everything goes too bad and there is no way to do it right or if the loose is too big. I wont risk a reset or load for tiny things thou :3
anyway the reset power makes it possible to achieve even better position that we have now, im astonished at so many people choosing option 1, why stick with bad things just of fear of causing more troubles? That sounds more for cowardice than for prevention… Or is it bc they really think bearing with bad things is the best? I think choosing option 1 is too innocent, thinking the worst that can happen wont be worse that what a glitched reset may bring. Or maybe so few choose option 2 because most people think that since we irl dont have the reset powers then it is for the best… I don’t think so, just because we cant turn back in time and had to bear with the bad choices it doesn’t mean that its better. Frisk and flowey/asriel had an incredible power that even if it comes with glitches and unpredictable risks, if used good it can lead them to the best of the possibilities, and in life most of the time for getting the good things we have to take risks, not stay in the “safe” zone. We dont have to choose the option1 just bc it seems less risky :3

I know I haven't posted regularly on this blog in years but I'm not seeing a whole lot of posts on this site about what's happening in Minneapolis right now. And the posts I am seeing are not covering the scope of it. I'm genuinely surprised because tumblr is usually where I find out about things organically through my feed. So I'm making a post about it.
A brief summary of events, from someone who pays attention and also lives here, best taken with a grain of salt and some fact checking:
2020: George Floyd is murdered by Minneapolis police. There are weeks of protests about it. It makes national news. Protests happen in DC. The infamous Trump and his bible photo shoot happens.
2024: Gov. Tim Walz is Kamala Harris' running mate in the presidential election. He starts the "they're just weird" thing. Is folksy, Trump personally hates him.
November 2025: ICE starts showing up to "crack down" on "illegal immigrants" in our Somali community. I may remember the numbers wrong, but something like 90% of our Somali neighbors are either naturalized or were born here. People distribute ICE whistles and are on high alert. Localized to the twin cities.
December 2025: Nick Shirley is paid by a bunch of MN Republicans to do an exposé on daycare fraud. I didn't hear much about this. All I really know is this was an ongoing investigation that MN officials were already taking care of and some of the guilty parties have already gone to court from a COVID era food assistance program. Mostly, if not all, legal US citizens. He did a really bad job at doing journalism and just showed up to day cares with a camera crew and went "YUP nobody's here" as if they weren't in lock-down procedure because some fuck ass white men showed up with camera equipment that could easily be mistaken for guns. I believe. I will fact check all of this and will correct myself in a reblog if necessary. (source but not all the details that I remember hearing about but they said there was no recorded evidence of fraud)
Conservative internet explodes. Kristi Noem sends a mess of agents. I know it's more than a thousand more. They call it Operation Metro Surge. They are going everywhere. There are protests. People try to interrupt the arrests. It's a lot.
1/7/2026: Renee Nicole Good is shot by an ICE agent in the middle of a protest. A few blocks away from where George Floyd was killed. Broad daylight. In front of a crowd. While she was following instructions to turn her vehicle around. Jonathan Ross, the piece of shit Nazi who did it, was recording on his phone the whole time, switched his phone to his non dominant hand so he could more effectively shoot her in the face from 2 feet away. Claims self defense, several angles immediately disprove him. He releases his video, he calls her a "fucking bitch" as her corpse drives away. Does not help him at all. (source) He has not been seen since. Some photos/reports exist of a bunch of agents showing up to his house and taking some tubs and art away. His wife is an immigrant. (source but it's the daily mail so grain of salt.)
Not hours later they go raid a school and tear gas a bunch of kids. (source). Minneapolis has switched to distance learning. I'm not sure about St. Paul.
The last week: There are up to 3,000 ICE agents here. Keep in mind Minneapolis and St. Paul only have 600 or fewer police officers each. So these dudes are roaming in packs. It's 2-4 dudes to a car and 2-5 cars per pack. People are "commuting with" ICE agents to honk and alert people that they're there. People are going on patrols with their neighbors.
ICE is no longer asking "are you a citizen." They are simply walking up to you and taking you into custody. They are going door to door. They have started just breaking the door down if you don't comply. They are driving recklessly to just grab pedestrians and drivers alike (source). People are afraid to go get groceries. It's all over the state. I am learning names of cities in places I thought were just factory farm land and I've lived here my whole life because they're doing raids there. I had to text my family in the suburbs because I saw reports of my small little hometown an hour away getting door knocks today.
It's insane and I am not doing it justice. There are thousands of masked federal agents roaming around all of Minnesota with no warrant or specific goal. They are just trolling around looking for people. They are detaining anyone and everyone. They are beating people. They are pepper spraying people. They are kidnapping people. They are acting unconstitutionally, aggressively, and unpredictably. They are creating situations that are dangerous so that they can try to justify beating or shooting their way out. I will run an errand and then get fed a tiktok that was shot from the Cub Foods that I just left and there's 20+ ICE vehicles parked there now. They're taking people from work, from day care, from schools, from shopping centers.
Iceout.org tracks ice sightings. This is a screen shot with the date set to 12/1/2025.
And from today.
They have cut off SNAP and WIC benefits. Just for us. Not any other state, just Minnesota. They're saying it's because of fraud but I think it's because they hate that we use federal funds to give free breakfast and lunch to every public school student.
And this is breaking just now, 1/13/2026: the DOJ is trying to investigate Renee Good's widow. 4 people have resigned about it. (source). I don't even want to read the article to see what they're saying.
So that's a brief history.
Unicorn Riot is doing a lot of good reporting and they don't seem to have the spin that a lot of local news stations will have where they downplay everything. This article specifically goes into a lot of the specific instances of brutality.
It's also a rumor on TikTok that all of the videos of ICE and protests and the such and the like are being geo locked. So my feed is all footage of people being detained and talking about the "commuting" they're doing and what they're seeing but people outside of the state are not seeing it. So if you're also on that infernal app, try searching for Minneapolis or Minnesota and see what you see. I'm kind of curious if this is true. Because I've been living and breathing ICE and doomsday prepping content for a week. I'm sure those two topics aren't connected.
I don't really know what my goal with this post is. I'm tired. I'm in the first ring of suburbs, so it's been pretty quiet. But I have friends in south Minneapolis. And I'm worried for them. And I know it's a matter of time before my quiet pocket is affected. Because they're coming door to door.
Pay attention to Minnesota, I think an example is being made of us.
Update- Minnesota republicans are taking this opportunity to try to impeach Govt Waltz, who has already declared that he will not seek re-election in November because of Republican death threats against him and his family. Because of the "fraud". But actually because Waltz is speaking very plainly about what is happening here.
St Paul has gone to partial virtual learning for anyone who doesn't feel safe sending their kids to school.
Every school I know now has safety patrols.
The school districts are not mincing words about the clear and present threat. Everyone in the area is completely clear that we are under violent occupation.
Most of the white people ICE grab, are released within days, because ICE can't even keep track of who was grabbed by who over what. However, they are still subjected to beatings, gassing, having their home and car windows smashes, etc.
Local police are advising compliance with the blatant human rights violations and total lack of due process, because they are cowards.
Even conservative Minnesotans are balking at the total lack of due process and open violence against unresisting people for doing things like taking videos. I know a guy who was in his house recording ICE, and they smashed his home window, dragged him out over the broken glass, beat him while screaming slurs, smashed his phone, and detained for three days.
We need your help to spread the truth about what is going on. Find the videos and share them on any platform you have. Make noise about what's happening. Get your "don't tread on me" relatives whipped up about it if you can.
We need republicans to be afraid, otherwise ICE plans to be here for half a year attacking us.
If human rights can be revoked because Trump doesn't like your state, then they aren't rights anymore, they are favors dispensed by your king.
Oury Jalloh was burned alive in a German police cell while his hands and feet were cuffed to a bed. the cops claimed he had set himself on fire but offered no evidence. No one was convicted. It took 2 more violent deaths in the same police building (Hans-Jürgen Rose, died from internal injuries from blunt force impacts, Mario Bichtemann died from a skull fracture), before one cop had to pay a fine. No cop faced real consequences.
15-year-old Jerryson Noor was shot and killed by police in the Netherlands after being accused of trying to steal a bicycle. We was running from police and clearly posed no threat.
Force Remove Copilot, Recall and More in Windows 11 - zoicware/RemoveWindowsAI
So my read on the recurrence of the phrase “here we are” through Undertale is that it’s sort of… the ‘Good Twin’ for ‘But Nobody Came’, in a way.
“But nobody came” is a sentence used in instances of isolation and loneliness. Sometimes because one has been left abandoned and helpless in a traumatizing way
Or it could be because one is deliberately cutting themself off from human Monster connections and also killing Literally Everyone.
“Here we are”, is the opposite of this. It’s all about the ‘we’, it’s about that experience of companionship, about the act of making friends. That’s why it appears in every Dating Sequence in the game and other important bonding moments.
As well as our encounter with Asgore, as it’s basically the climax of the New Home/Undertale Story Time sequence that exists to make Asgore sympathetic to the Player and he has this sense of companionship and community with all of the Monsters.
It’s the title of the True Lab music track both because, well, on the one hand, despite how creepy it is, it is a Pacifist-Route Exclusive Location. Actually, it’s the location that ‘locks’ you into the Pacifist Ending. By reaching the True Lab, a Player has already proven their commitment to making connections and bonds with all of their monster friends.
But on the other hand, the True Lab can also kinda be said to represent the darker side of “Here We Are”. The Amalgamates are ‘bonded’ together, ‘connected’ on such an extreme level that they are stuck as one being. Incapable of ever alone again, incapable of being their own individuals again.
Of course, the True Lab and the Amalgamates is also the main appearance of the “But Nobody Came” motif for a Pacifist Playthrough. The horror of the Amalgamates’ situation is that they suffered through the worst parts of both “Here We Are” and “But Nobody Came”. Both bonded on such a level they cannot ever be themselves, but also hidden, lonely and isolated from their loved ones.
The Amalgamates’ happy ending is the game reinforcing the importance of bonds and the horror of isolation. Even the worst, most horrifyingly literal manifestation of “Here We Are” is better than being hidden and isolated and lost. And the right bonds can always improve the situation, make it not just tolerable, but good.
There’s kind of a Yin-and-Yang thing going on here too, the Pacifist Run embodies the idea of friendship and connections that “Here We Are” represents, and so that phrase appears over and over in that run. But the Amalgamates and the True Lab gives one a taste of the horror and isolation and loneliness of “But Nobody Came”.
The Murder Run is the embodiment of this disconnection of “But Nobody Came”, but there is just one little mention of “Here We Are”, the one and only connection the Player does make.
The only connection a Player has in the Murder Route is with this corrupted echo of Chara.
So with all of this said…
I dunno how I feel about the fact that “Here We Are” has such a small presence in ‘Deltarune’ so far. As of Chapter 4, past the halfway point, these words have only been spoken twice. Once during Asgore’s introduction, seemingly just because this scene is directly quoting from his introduction back in Undertale.
Which leaves the only ‘real’ Deltarune-specific use of “Here We Are” to be just this scene from the start of Chapter 2.
Of course, there’s at least some level of ‘balance’ being maintained, since “But Nobody Came” has also been used extremely sparingly so far (and also only on Chapter 2, interestingly enough).
But this relative lack of “Here We Are” still makes me worry on some level… Are we still waiting on a deeper level of interpersonal connection we haven’t reached yet? Is the amount of secrets the Fun Gang is keeping from each other stopping them from being truly genuinely connected?
Do “Here We Are” and “But Nobody Came” truly cannot exist without the other? The bonds being made meaningful due to having and rejecting the Choice of cutting yourself off from them? Is this why “Here We Are” is only mentioned on the Chapter that introduced the Weird Route?

HELL YEAH DESHITTIFICATION!
For everything we do here, please be sure to be careful with what you edit, and restart your computer to lock things in. If you don't have access to the Group editor, (likely to happen if you're on base windows) you can do this as well by opening your Registry Editor app, then inputting this after your 'computer' or whatever the initial segment is. (Mine is computer. If I just try and paste the below string it gets SO mad at me)
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsCopilot
Navigating to your "turnoffwindowscopilot", hit modify, and set the value data to 1.
If done correctly, it'll look like this.
While we're at it, you can also get rid of the integrated search, (or that thing where it searches the web when you search anything, whether or not you want it to) and such through regedit as well.
Integrated search will have you going to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
Navigate to your "DisableSearchBoxSuggestions" bit, if you don't see it, you can make it by right clicking and creating a new registry D-Word key of that exact name. Edit the key, set it to 1. It'll look like this if you do it right!
To get rid of Windows Spotlight, (The thing where it pulls up ten billion pages on windows start page, shoving ads in your face and cluttering everything) we go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DesktopSpotlight\Settings
And set "Enabled State" To 0. If you do it right, it'll look like this!
Disabling edge on startup will also help a fair deal with processing speed and the like. This you can do in all sorts of ways, the easiest being turning it off entirely on startup through settings in the like.
If you want to kill it *entirely*, though? :)
In regedit, run along to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
Navigate to your MicrosoftEdge key subcategory. If you don't see it, you can make one! Note, this is a KEY, not a d-word. *inside* that subcategory, we want to either make or find the D-Word key of PreventLaunchEdge and set that to 1 in the same way as all the others. It'll look like this.
Aaaand while we're here, I'd HIGHLY recommend shanking Killer Networking Services. It's just bloatware. (Ostensibly it's supposed to monitor your network bandwidth and even things out, but that really means it's constantly monitoring and pinging things, which eats up the bandwidth you DO get, and also chunks your computer's processing power.) Getting rid of it entirely is borderline impossible, since it's set to redownload on regular updates and intel is very pushy with its updates.
This you can do by opening your Services.msc, which basically shows you all the background stuff that Windows does. Find Anything with Killer in the name, right click it, go to properties, and disable startup. It should look like this, if done successfully. It will probably reenable itself in time/in later updates for windows, but it's a quick fix. I'd also check your TaskScheduler app to make sure that nothing's scheduled to open up there, either.
If you CAN completely kill Killer services through uninstalling and the like, I would warn that at very least for my computer, the only ethernet/lan support applications that are available ARE Killer's. When you download updates, you really do have to do it manually and ONLY download the ethernet services, or just be cool with not having Lan functionality.
One last thing, not a shit application but is a shit service. If your computer's constantly overheating or just warm, you likely have Turboboost enabled. (Default setting that you can't change) If you want to be able to turn it off and drop your temps by like 40 degrees, in Regedit go to
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7
(Note- This isn't the string copy paste from the reddit thread, this is mine that does the same thing. If my string doesn't work for you, check the reddit thread string. If that doesn't work either, you can follow the path and find it pretty easily. Probably has like, one letter of difference somewhere. The bits all start the same, though, so it's easy to find.)
and go to "attributes". Set the value from 1 to 2, and now in your advanced Power Plan settings in control panel, you'll be able to *see* turbo boost and turn it off.
It'll look like this, and in power options, a successful disabling of boost should look like this.
Turning off quick startup's also a good call, since that basically stops your restarts from actually shutting things down properly.
GOOD LUCK OUT THERE YALL. MAKE SURE TO CLEAN YOUR PC!
I would like to once again recommend to you all Winero Tweaker, a free program that lets you adjust a bunch of windows settings with a single click instead of digging through 30 different setting screens and registry entries.
There's well over a hundred settings, here's just a few of them:
(sorry the classic taskbar option no longer works with current windows 11 version)
Fair warning: This is a powerful tool which means it can also do some damage if you don't know what you're doing, but every setting comes with an extensive explanation, as you can see in the Ads and unwanted apps screenshot.
This tool will even turn windows 11 from a bloated mess into a (more or less, this tool isn't magic) usable operating system.
Some tech advice for you all from my personal blog. I figured the more people see this the better, and I got a lot more followers on this blog.

Stories about "humans"
As more and more people are being forced to switch to Windows 11, Microsoft's most AI-malware-ridden OS yet, I've been putting together articles and links for how to undo the damage and save your battery, your RAM, your disk space, your privacy, and your sanity from this bullshit.
FIRST:
The easiest way to get rid of the majority of the bullshit that Windows is forcing on us, as of October 2025, is this one-stop-one-click debloat solution from a modern day hero:
A simple, lightweight PowerShell script to remove pre-installed apps, disable telemetry, as well as perform various other changes to customi
It's very easy, even if you're not tech savvy or get scared of pop up windows saying "ARE YOU SURE?" Yes, you are sure, I promise. This program takes maybe two minutes and will save you SO MUCH pain, time, and money (and exploitation).
Now that you've done that, here's the cleanup, to catch the little shit that the debloat might have missed (most of this will already be done by debloat, but hey, it's good to double check).
Microsoft wants to put AI everywhere on your PC, but you can take back control.
Even just reading about some of these features makes me angry. Fucking Copilot and "Discover" AI scrapers are in Notepad. NOTEPAD. And then there's this uncanny valley garbage:
No uncanny valley video calls for me, thanks! (Also, what else is it doing while it scans your face and listens to your calls? What else, microsoft? Because there was a lot of memory being assigned to this program for a simple "smooths your skin" add on).
Tired of Microsoft pushing ads throughout Windows 11? Here are the settings you can tweak to turn them off and reclaim some privacy.
The truly insane number of places they have stuck ads on your own home computer is sickening. Become Unmarketable.

Guys, it's time to drop Google.
Google isn't the only search engine in the whole internet, there are others! And we need to diversify our search engine usage or we're gonna end up where we were a decade and change ago with the Internet Explorer issue. We can't let a single brand monopolize everything! This is why Google Search can afford to suck so hard: because people use it regardless! And there are alternatives.
A little bit about search engines, there are 3 types: crawlers, which work by scraping the web and developing their own indexes; metas, which get their results from the crawler-type search engines and therefore depend entirely upon them; and mixed, those which have their own (small) index but also pull results from the crawlers.
Right now, there are a couple of independant crawlers apart from Google, Bing (from Mycrosoft) and Yandex (the Russian one): this are Mojeek and Wiby.
Supporting independant crawlers is the easiest way to fight the shittyfication of the internet.
Mojeek.com is an independant british search engine with its own growing index commited to fighting internet censorship. It's small, and therefore it's usability isn't as good as that of the Big Three, but it doesn't censor, it's fairly respectful of people's privacy, and it doesn't drown you in adds. For those old enough to remember, it's a lot like early 2000s Google: you can find what you need, but if you write "dig shelter" instead of "dog shelter", that's what it's gonna search for. That said, please try to use it and support it as much as you can before we end up entirely dependant on Google, Bing and big corps adds. [click here to go to Mojeek]
Wiby.me is a new indie project that is literally dedicated to bringing back the old-school web. It's goal is to index as many personalized websites as possible, and NOT commercial sites. So, for those of you who can't find any answers to technical questions beyond highschool level because Google buries them under a gazillion commercial sites and other meaningless shit, keep an eye on this project! It has a lot of potential. And, if you know of any personal websites that have great stuff but have been murdered by Google, you can go over to Wiby and submit it to their index. Aside from those, there are also meta search engines you can use to ween yourself off Google and search for random, day to day stuff.
Qwant.com is my go-to here—it has its own index and pulls from Bing, has relatively little censorship, and is fairly private. This is the one I use on my phone for everyday stuff. [click here to go to Qwant].
Historically, DuckDuckGo has always been a go-to for those who want a search engine that respects your privacy and doesn't censor. Personally, I've never been a fan, and there have been a LOT of scandals in recent years. It supposedly has its own index and pulls from Bing, much like Qwant, but I don't know. I just don't like it. Still, I've added it here for completeness' sake.
If you have Firefox Mobile browser, you can set any of these search engines as your default search engine and you can also add the others as secondary search engines and switch quicky from the navigation bar. If you don't have firefox mobile though, what are you doing with your life??? Go get it!! It is So. Much. Better. You can have add blockers and watch YouTube add free, for free! You can have reader mode and dark mode add-ons! You can have the world oh my goshhhh, drop Chrome!!
4get.ca is my last recommendation: it works a lot like SearX, but honestly better. It doesn't have its own index, but pulls from many others. I think it's the best for reaserch, since it allows you to search for answers from different indexes, is easy to configure, add free, and avoids censorship as much as it can. It's also very privacy conscious, so that's an other plus, and it has that late 90s / early 2000s vibe that I totally dig. [click here to go to 4get]
If you wanna learn more about the topic, you can over to the Search Engine Map [click here] which shows you a bunch of Search Engines and how they relate to each other. Or you can also go over to this one dude's personal website whose done A Lot of reaserch into the topic (way more than me) and seems to be pretty legit, if a little extra. PS: here's to hoping all the links work!
EDIT: eliminated the "read more". Figured there are enough mega long posts in tumblr, one more won't make no difference lol (tho the version w the read more has been reblogged already, in case you'd rather)
god. I haven’t thought much about undertale for years now but “chara is the last person you have to save” is CRAZY.
it’s like. they’re characterized as someone who’s ruthlessly efficient. of course they would choose to sacrifice themself—it was like a trolley problem, if it was between their life and the life of Every Monster in the Underground then the answer was simple. but then, years and years and years after their death, you can finally FINALLY show them that their family would’ve never accepted it no matter how many people they could save. it didn’t matter if everyone else in the underground went free because They would be gone, and they meant the world to their family in an utterly illogical way. undertale is about convincing a child who never saw any value in their own life that they were truly Loved.
