In light of the pedophile manifesto fiasco that happened several months ago, I want to say that while I do not necessarily think the stated pro-pedophilia views reflect that of the average terminally online leftists, these views are the natural end point of the logic/sentiments followed/shared in gender ideology & liberal feminist circles:
1. "Children can consent to transition" - the idea that children are fully autonomous individuals who are capable of making tough calls about their lives and future naturally gives rise to the sentiment that children should be able to consent to anything. This in tandem with the "youth lib" movement, which seeks to take power away from parents and encourage children instead to trust "like minded adults" who are more likely to treat them with "respect," primes children for grooming. Theres been a push to convince children that their parents who, for example, do not respect their pronouns don't care about them, whereas trans identified adults do. Who seeks to dissolve a child's trust in their parents if not predators?
2. Consent absolves any harm - self explanatory. If "age play," "bdsm," and degradation/humiliation of others is fine as long as both parties consent, of course one would extrapolate this to even more taboo and violent "kinks" or paraphillias. This is how we've landed on the push to accept beastiality, incest, and pedophilia; the online left has given predators the ability to redefine what constitutes harm.
3. The dismantling of your trust in your gut feeling - when you force yourself to look at a predatory male and call him a woman, you are training your brain to not trust your instincts. Transgenderism asks you to not trust your eyes or ears and completely rewire your brain. It degrades your trust in your ability to discern reality and make judgments. This is why so many young people were reblogging the s*ggestrog*n posts with comments like "this makes me really uncomfortable but I know I need to unlearn my biases" -- that voice in the back of their head, which is meant to inform you when something is wrong, has been eroded.
4. Creating an untouchable class of males -- when you create a group of men who are viewed as if they can do no harm, predators will try to join this group. Its why child abuse is rampant on the right and left: both have their group of males who are viewed as above criticism and are therefore given unfettered access to children (and at least you have to put in some effort into being a priest; any old run of the mill pervert can claim transgenderism or become a drag queen).
Therefore, I don't particularly care whether s*ggestrog*n's sentiments are held by a small minority or not. The social conditions that have been created by online leftists have emboldened predators to share these disgusting viewpoints online and endanger children. Better yet, online leftists have offered predators the very vocabulary they can use to disguise their predation as leftist viewpoints.
This is what happens in a society that fundamentally lacks values and substance, and which prioritizes the purity of language and terminology above all else. You can get away with any disgusting sentiment as long as it's worded correctly because you're presenting an argument to an audience that is incapable of actually thinking deeply/critically.
