hypothesis: “babies” is too similar to “daisy” and they’re getting confused

Spouse decided to drive down to VA with me (which means being trapped in the car for 3 hours 1 way). I decided to use this time to introduce him to Murderbot.

We finished the first novella and are halfway through the second. He had many questions but I’m surprised he actually listened to it. (I guess you really have no choice if that’s the only thing playing for 3 hours in a confined space, right?) He has not caught on to using non-binary pronouns of MB, and I’m unsure if he every will, but I shall be gentle about corrections for a while since this is a series I hold dear.
